When the nigerians football team prayed before every match did that help get them through the first round of the world cup? Do you really think that wether nigeria get through has anything to do with how they pray or how they perform on the pitch?

Likewise do you really believe that nigerians praying will eradicate us of our leaders? Don't you think it would be better if they do something like instead of blocking motorway they should march down to Aso Rock and demand change?

Prayers is just an lazy mans excuse to nothing coz prayers don't solve anything.

Religion to is part of the problem. Because Nigerians seek comfort and gain strenght to endure very tough hardship and suffering through their strong belief in God. Suffering which their european counterparts will never endure.

In nigeria when things are tough we go to church, but in europe they will start demonstrations .

Just before the game against South Korea the Nigerian National Team got together on the pitch and said a prayer. Before entering the changing room at the end of the first half they got together and said another prayer. Before the start of the second half they said another prayer. When the game ended and they out of the competition they didn't even bother to say another prayer

Nigeria losing to South Korea had nothing to do with prayers but with the way Nigeria performed on the pitch. The same thing can be said about our politicians religious leaders etc. The millions of nigerians who are praying for miracles and change in nigeria are just wasting thier time. Because prayers never achieve anything.

Prayer is nothing but superstition. Why don't you christians agree?

Followed by Nigeria who I don't believe will get the result they need against South Korea, which leaves Ivory Coast who have a tough game against Brazil tonight.

Rules are rules and rules have to be obeyed. Whenever any topic degenerates to fighting and insults that topic is to be locked, then i issue the offending parties with warnings. I can also delete all offending posts and unlock the topic or leave it locked. It has nothing to do with me being an athiest just doing my job.

Well we've heard of developed countries doing research spending millions of dollars trying to find a cure for aids and a good vaccine to prevent malaria but why is there no research and money being spent on how to prevent spiritual attacks?
