What is Delaying admission list for Masters of Industrial and Labour Relations ??

Are you saying you went to the department in person or you spoke to someone? I plan on breezing in there within the week to check mine is MILR though.

I really don't understand some people. Someone here claimed people check their results in the departments tru staff close to them. I normally don't believe in doing things through the backdoor, but just to satisfy my curiosity I asked a friend who ran same program as the one I applied for and he confirmed it to be true. In fact, to convince me he called the staff who happens to be his friend in my presence and he was told he should've called a day or two earlier as the staff claimed he was with list of the whole school that it was already compiled.

Now, someone here said he heard the list is ready and I said maybe it's true, maybe what the staff told my friend is actually true, maybe he wasn't just bluffing and was sure of what he was saying. Then suddenly someone here says am spreading false news.......Like seriously? Did I tell it will be out in the next one hour and you didn't see the list?

If you are frustrated, you find ways of venting your frustration. I mean am not the one responsible for your frustration in the first place......smh

And by the way, my friend called dis morning and he told me:'' My guy go and look for school fees, bros has checked and your name and xyz(another friend of ours) is on the list ''

Really, it's such a shame that the result for a CBT exams written close to 2 months ago can't be released! For crying out loud, you are even meant to see your result on the spot. Terrible really.

I sat for the paper based test. We had interview the following day after the exam and we were told that the written papers have all been marked;that was less than 24hrs after the written exam. I am suprised that the results are not out yet after a month.

Some people claimed to have checked their result in the department. However an online source predicted that the result should be released this week between Friday and Sunday the source also stated that the cut off mark has been set.

Got from a source in unilag that results will be available this week.

This could be true. I just checked the portal and it's been down for over 12hours now. This could mean that they are working on uploading the results. Fingers crossed.

Funny stuff. The truth of the matter is that this things work... Those that often form busy/ activities sometimes get promoted even before the actual busy ones. The fact is that the office ground is a polity and it takes not just hardwork, but Wisdom and a bit of loyalty.

P:S : Hardwork still pays regardless.

Based on current FIFA rankings, this is not possible as Germany, Argentina cant be in same group as they would most likely be seeded exception of Spain who is currently 8th in the world ranking .

Jones was very unprofessional and amateurish in his anchoring of that program. As an anchor, your bias or preferences should not be very obvious. Jones lacked that. He allowed his emotions get the better of him. I lost count of the number of times he engaged his guest in very heated arguments or even the number of times he shouted down callers or cut them off just because they were holding opposing views. I stopped listening to that program a long time ago. He should learn to be fair and balanced

You are very right. In as much as I always enjoyed the program, it was highly irritating to hear him shout at callers and in fact insult them in some cases, probably he feels he could do that because he is elderly, but it's very unprofessional. Always wanting to impose his ideology on everyone.

i did not submit too and i am not bothered. it doesnt guarantee admission so i dnt get what the fuss is about. The department know how to get it if they ever need it.

How do they determine work experience?

During application there was was a part where work experience was to be inputted.

For those opting for m.sc ur computation is( CBT+Class of degree)/80 * 100={•••}.Example 1st class 20,2.1(15),2.2(10).Yes let us work it out for 2.1 grade.(35+15)/80*100=62.5(recommended) .If authorities ignore professional certifications.

I gathered that work experience also accounts for 10%...

past questions were indeed helpful for those that sat for MSC finance.

However, the major problem was time. even if you spend a minute on average per question (ie for very fast student) you will end up attempting 45 questions. Yet some of those questions will take as much as three minutes to understand, articulate the formula and punch your calculator for answers.

For me it was a good experience. The only thing that will possibly fail me is if there is negative marking.

Always do the the once you can get the answer within one minute. Go back to the once that will take a longer time.

Avoid the once you don't know, you have forgotten the formula due to tension, you are confused as to what to do.

leave about 10minutes to shade all those that were left undone. Ensure no question is left unanswered. That is if there is no negative marking.
