PoliticsRe: How Nigerians Are Abused In China. by MansaMoussa: 7:02am On Feb 05, 2016
Why won't you be treated like dirt when you have carried your Nigerian touting to another man's land.
From killing fellow countrymen in the name of drug wars to defrauding honest Nigerian businessmen in the name of " middleman' to soooo many unspeakable atrocities.
A Chinese policeman told me once that what baffles him the most, is the way Nigerians kill their fellow Nigerians in China.. wondering if we were human.
Here, in Nigeria, I have met a Chinese businessman who asked me what part of Nigeria I come from...I was shocked, when he told me he's been warned from doing business with people from a section of the country.
We need to change our attitudes.

You've given the reason. Disobedience to plea not to come closer. The Policeman will go free because he will claim self defence.
No be like that bros. I'm a rochas person too, but will never commend police brutality.

PoliticsRe: Abaribe Presents To Saraki Abamade Military Kits by MansaMoussa: 5:49pm On Feb 04, 2016
UncleJJ:
Yes Nigerian ! But, IPOB is making everyone skeptical about the east.

These are military equipment not housewares. From, the look on Saraki's face the senator is just wasting his time.

He may get the contract for training kits but definitely not for real soldiers.

Besides, the senator should have invited the other
senator to the so called factory in ABA.

Military boots and uniform are from very durable materials and made by companies who have experience or have brought in experienced individuals to do so.

For all we know, these guys are importing this shi*t from vietnam, china or indonesia.

It's the same way we where told innoson is a manufacturing plant , while infact it's an assembly plant.

Defence contracts are not childs play and are only issued to the most trusted of candidates. Unfortunately , eastern Nigeria is on short supply of this so called element.,
Do not despise humble beginnings

Our diplomatic policies and foriegn relations are now dictated by Buhari's religion.
Not Necessarily Sir,
Affairs of state follow a definite pattern..even though variations exist from Govt to Govt, overall the definite pattern works..eg.. Pax Nigeriana in Ecowas is unquestionably a foreign policy pillar of every Regime. What varies is the amount of resources committed to the propagation of that.
PoliticsRe: FG May Sell $100bn Assets To Shore Up Foreign Reserves by MansaMoussa: 1:40pm On Feb 03, 2016
ogtavia:
Everything in Nigeria is wired to enhance corruption...even the probe panel is not free from corruption...Nigeria's problem is like a tree...a tree that was planted in the 50s and 60s when Nigeria was young and fledgling and corruption wasn't widespread...some wise men in uniform saw what was coming but their approach was wrong...I am beginning to see some sense in Nigeria giving way to smaller and manageable federations for the very first time...we can try to work with what we have but in the longrun...sooner or later...wat will happen will happen naturally.....we got independence without war or bloodshed regardless of the 3years insanity and barbarism between 1967 - 1970 so the split will come rather as a necessity....selling our biggest asset will only create problems...investors are not saints or fools...they are all opportunists....we have to go back to that time wen that tree of corruption was planted and start afresh sooner than later...

We have a Govt. that will pitch our tents with traditional allies (most likely British, etc).
Statecraft goes beyond sentiments. We fight where our Govt says we should fight.

Why are we making it sound like rocket science to run govt institutions..is the solution to corruption outright privatisation ? Russia's biggest Oil company is State-owned and they've been doing excellent work with Siberian Oil and Gas, and negotiating good deals for the motherland..
Why our matter different?
Probe the place and shoot the corrupt, bring in fresh blood and watch it grow.

*Sighs again*
This is Not Change!
Why Tax an Overtaxed population already. we pay Taxes for market space to sell vegetables, taxes to ply our okada business, taxes for so many other things. Double taxation is rife in the state.
Ortom, what we need is industry..the raw materials are there...those mangos and oranges rotting in the sun are exportable ( anambra case scenario).. Work with NEPC to harness the huge potentials
Of this state.
There are rivers and streams in benue state with unique tropical fish species that will meet the viewing needs of so many Aquaria in the world..so beautiful that villagers are forbidden from eating them..the River benue is hugely under tapped, what does it take to under annual sport regattas on it ( Oxford-Cambridge type), just put some prize money and watch it grow..
Ontisha to the West, Port Harcourt to the South, Abuja to the North, Yaounde and Bamenda to the East..the market is inexhaustible...

And Yes Onyowo, we are poor! Nothing to be ashamed of!

I can't forget the day I was walked out of the Theatre as a young intern for daring to challenge my Prof. Of Surgery that Robert Mugabe should occupy a more prominent role than Mandela in Africa.
Only one other president achieved similar feat, Sekou Toure of Guinea, who rejected the French and had even light bulbs removed from Guinea by the French..

Stand up for what you believe man! The fact that his Armed Forces are Solidly behind him says it all.

Papa has earned his place in History.!

PoliticsRe: 25 Biggest And Most Embarrassing Mistakes Ever Made by MansaMoussa: 10:08am On Jan 29, 2016
misterawo:
Left to me, the above is the greatest mistake ever made. Not only did it destroy Kwarezam which is the left over of Persian empire, it also paved the way for the Mongol invasion of Caucuses. They smashed the Georgian army which was set to reunite with their European counterparts for crusade to liberate Holy land. They also smashed Russia and conquered all the way to Hungary. It took the death of Ghengis Khan to spare Europe the wrath of Khan. This single biggest mistake still reverberate today in that part of the world. Prior to this, Mongol were essentially Chinese problem. Mongolian army were all mounted on a horseback. Shooting barrage of armour piercing arrows. It was difficult to defeat them. They were the fastest land army before the advent of automobile. They were equally brutal. No one was sparred. Women were raped and killed. Children
were killed. They are brutal. They wiped out any races.
I think their successes were largely attributed to geography..the steppes, gobi deserts and Arabian deserts were favourable for cavalry assault..their forays would have been hindered in more forested parts of Europe and Asia all the same...moreover, the Mamluk Sultanate of Egypt dealt them a huge blow in Arabia and halted their match..either way, they were effective fighters.

I won't blame the useless Omolara or david entirely. But the stupid wicked parents that gave such little girl out. No matter how worst everything is with you. Learn to live under the same roof with your Children no matter how poor. While I was growing up everything was so Freaking rosy but later my parents divorced.

It affected we the children but my Dad did his best to train everyone and it affected his job but he took training the kids his main priority. There were times when we eat everything available and he would only drink water and go to bed. He did that and made sure he trained everyone with good education and home training. Now all my elderly ones are all married with kids in good homes. And he is retired built his own house and enjoying retirement and old age.

No matter how worst it is for you. Learn to live with your kids, if it's only garri you have drink with them with love. Not sending them away from home because you can't train them. Nigerians are not so worst that Much they would help you even if it's to send them to public schs and get meagre amount for you to start petty business. Stop sending your kids out to work for people, Nigerians don't treat maids well. They need to teach Nigerians that the fact that you have a Maid doesn't mean she can't be trained like your kids. It's just to render help when you are too busy at work or sick.
As much as I agree with you that the punishment is despicable, I beg to differ regarding your "stay with your children no matter how hard things are". House helps Are an essential necessity in a Nigeria without

Abuja Robbers are the most Heartless I've ever known..they not only take the money, but inflict you with the most heinous of wounds one can think of..a patient of mine was almost decapitated after they took his money...I never see dat kind butchering for my medical practice before. .it's a miracle that man still breathes today.
I don't know where they come from...from using Hammers to split the skulls of commercial motorcyclists in order to steal their bikes to slicing throats of victims after robbing them..i just hate their brutality!
