The Idomas have their problems-the Agatu front..same as the Egede, Jukun, Berom,Angas etc fighting fulani in the longest attrition war in Africa. Other Idomas, say Agatus are troublesome, Tivs say their warring brothers are quarrelsome..Not until a Tiv Is a Tiv and a Berom a Berom, a Landowner is a Landowner and a Herdsman viewed As an Enemy of all will this systematic genocide end. I have shouted myself hoarse with different monikers to highlight this fact, but no one takes me seriously. I expected a Militant group to have sprung up vowing to protect the interest of the Christian Middlebelt by FORCE (eg OPC, MASSOB, IPOB, MEND,Boko Haram, Miyetti Allah, etc), but the closest they have come cheap is Ombatse, which was neutralised by their enemies. I do not wish to provoke hatred or incite, but the truth about Nigeria is that "whoever barks loudest, gets heard" It's all about Igbo now because Ipob is barking...it was once MEND, OPC etc When will the MB have an Asari, Tompolo,Gani Adams, Kanu, etc? Ever since Gideon Orkar died, e be like say dem use jazz subjugate their youths..kai! |

This isn't good news oh! If the NM is serious about 21st Century Warfare, the plight of their Professionals must be top priority. The Guys responsible for North Korea's Successful Missile Launch this Morning aren't a bunch of Gun wielding Guys with Basic Training, but highly intellectual goons co-opted into the military. They enjoy some of the highest standards of living in the country where food is food is rationed. No beef here, ideas win wars, not brute force. China has an elite Cyber warfare unit based in the most lush part of Beijing, enjoying the best the PLA can provide..they are the front line troops in china's army and not those the Indo-Chinese border or Taiwan straits..the cyber unit co-ordinate hi-tech hacking attacks on Western Govts daily, and mine data for use by the PLA..how much do you think you can pay to retain them? I don't wanna mention the Thousands of Doctors, Biologists, Chemists etc employed by Militaries for R$D...most of us don't even know some of the vaccines and drugs we use today we're developed by militaries for their Men in the field. If you aspire to grow, then you must spend on R& , and who forms the bedrock of Military research? You answer is right! But hey! If Dicon, is still staggering on one feet decades after its establishment, who am I to dream about expanded Military R& ?I can imagine how many Professionals have had their careers killed by joining the military all in the desire to wear khaki and have ephemeral power over civilians for a few years before retirement.. #madam, bring more pammy joor, it's Sunday morny! |
Modest Aquisitions i must say, Yes we can do more, but the question is, what are our primary goals? Offensive or Defensive assets? For the proponents of Power projection, I hope you know our biggest threat to that isn't BH or ND militants or ISIL etc, but France! Look around us, we are surrounded by French Garrisons all over(in the name of Francophone countries)..can we ever have enough assets to challenge a 100 Rafales scattered all over the Airbases in Niger,Chad, Benin, Mali, Togo etc if they were to fall upon Abuja in future? How many interceptors, SAMs etc do we have to counter them? So power projection is out of the question as long As the French maintain in Strong presence in the Subregion, we should rather confine ourselves to protecting our people from unending ethno-religious skirmishes that prop up here and there and try to prevent genocidal self destruction within the country..if we get lucky, our soldiers get hired as mercenaries under the UN or AU or ECOWAS mandate..thats the furthest we can go in terms of power projection. Until I see a Military Industrial Complex that can churn out our Hardware needs, I dare not dream big. Make we dey buy am small small, even if na Bolt Action Rifle we buy, I go clap clap clap! |
One on One, they can't do anything, only massed attack and massed retreat, na why IEDs they tear them apart! |

A Teargas Canister shot at close range flying at 200m/s to the head is a Missile Injury Abagworo... We are having this argument because say this man no die...these projectiles KILL Sir! The real questions are: 1. What informed the use of such Riot dispersal measures in a Largely peaceful rally by NOBLE professionals being escorted by the DSS and Police? 2. Has the Police admitted guilt and tendered an apology for the heavy-handedness? 3. Will they use similar force on NBA,NUPENG, NPA, FAAN etc staff? All Doctors in IMO state should embark on indefinite strike to compel the police to apologise, sympathy strikes should also be embarked upon by other states to drive the message home! 1 doctor killed=1000 lives lost ( according to Dr-Patient Ratio in Naija). #you don't use violence on essential services providers! Period! |
Save your stuff for your rounds, oga mi.. Like I said, he was hit by a Teargas Canister to the head..and such an Ordinance will rarely produce a classical entry-exit pattern(if you know your Ballistics wella).. There Are millions of pix online of ppl hit with these ordinances and moving about(lemme not talk about personal experience) ... As for the "Morphology of the Skull and Brain"...I think you should stick to the basics first (Classification of Head Injuries) before trying to mesmerise NLers with matters best discussed during rounds. Off to drink my Friday beer! Happy Weekend Sir!

"Definitely NOT" is reserved for the the casualty officers and eye witnesses of the account...but if this picture forms the basis of your assertion, then I say you are wrong. 1. the pattern of blood stains strongly suggests a head shot, considering the fact that his neck, trunk and upper limbs are stained, with stains thinning downwards,( gravity at play) 2. The degree of exposure is sufficient for us to see if the source of bleeding is located on the trunk or arms( swellings, lacerations and sutures will be visible at this stage) 3. If the insult were to be on his back, his positioning would be different and the bloodstains will follow an entirely different pattern of flow. 4 Most of the Eye-witnesses are my colleagues! |
A Teargas Canister to the left side of the Head at close range will cause severe injuries, from lacerations, to concussion or even death. The calibre of the ammunition is debatable but He was shot regardless. Btw, if a magistrate is shot by the police, what will happen to the IG of police? If a NUPENG staff is shot, all entry and exit roads to the city are blocked by their trailers., A Consultant fa. I blame Doctors for their predicaments! FMC doctors still went to work today! |
Naija Army sef.... The same Camouflage wey dem give una for Russia during training na wetin una still dey wear after the training. #standadize all una kits bikoooo Excellent gesture sha, I think the N.A PR dept is doing a good job, after coming under fire for the female Cadet-Civilian ish, they've been releasing pix showing their human side..niceee |
Idoma people are very useless politicians ..always scheming themselves out of things just at the verge of of breakthrough.. Throughout the 16yr tenure of David Mark, they were abandoned simply because they have consistently voted for Young Alhaji..and David Mark has always said "idoma ppl didnt vote me so shouldn't expect nada"... Now that even a child can smell Onjeh's impending victory, we still want to scheme ourselves out of success hence forfeiting all the Spoils that comes to victor.. Even Oturkpo people ( his traditional support base) that benefitted most from David Mark have woke up...na him okpoga, etc dey jonse. Best of luck to the decampees.. |

, and who forms the bedrock of Military research?
