GLYCOLYSISS:To be honest, I don't get your point. I am talking to fathers, brothers and uncles to set examples with how ladies should be treated. Did you read through? |
Maximus69:He is surely not a Christian nor a churchgoer just an antagonizer. |
Maximus69:Thanks so much Maximus69, you've said it and cleared it all. God bless you dearly |
Wow! Indeed. Nice quote |
That is why I pray that your eyes of understanding will be enlightened because you don't understand the Bible, neither do you get a glimpse of what am saying but I can't stop you from reasoning the way you do, can I? You are entitled to your opinion because it's your right. Thanks |
It is rightly said that charity begins at home. How we treat the females in our home plays a lot on how they will be treated by other men. Please treat us with much love, care, respect and value. We were first daughters, sisters and nieces before becoming wives. Read more here https://www.peaceablepeace.com.ng/2019/09/treat-us-like-queens-we-are.html |

God I just need a little break to also express my youthful exuberance. I just need a break. A break from service, Bible study, personal quiet time and prayer. All my friends are having fun and they think am not romantic. I also want to prove to them that I can be very romantic, I also want to let them know that I know what they know. You need a break? The Bible account of the deed of this young man is quite inspiring. It happened at a time when the children of Israel forgot who they were and practiced the worship of BaalPeor with the Midianites, God was really angry and thought of destroying them all. In fact, He asked Moses to take the heads of all the people who practiced the act and hang them up before the LORD against the sun. At this dispensation, God punished men for their sins instantly, except something is done quickly to calm the wrath of God, all the victims wound be consumed. That was how serious it was then. Each time I stand to look at the mirror, I see a reflection of who I am and also make adjustments of who I want to see and how I want people to see me by changing anything I don't like as I behold myself. The mirror shows me my reflection. If I fail to look at the mirror, I will not be able to know exactly how I look before leaving my house and I might end up being embarrassed outside the comfort of my house because I failed to look at the mirror. With the mirror I make adjustments, with the mirror, I make myself look good. Wow! So mirror is this important? Then we must all be grateful to the German chemist, Justus von Liebig who in 1835 developed a process for applying a thin layer of metallic silver to one side of a pane of clear glass. Miss Hephzibah Lekia Oladipo, a 14 year old was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis about 4 years ago. Despite medical interventions in hospitals since then, the curvature has progressively increased and is now at 74ᵒ. From the series of examinations, tests, x-rays and physiotherapies at University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Creek Medical Consultant and finally National Orthopaedic Hospital Enugu, it was concluded that she has to undergo urgent surgical operation to prevent further deterioration and profer a permanent solution. However, this surgery can only be done outside the country. Enquiries from Medical Centres in the USA and Canada indicate that surgery cost alone is about $40,000 and inclusive of ancillary expenses such as international and local flights, accommodation, feeding plus other incidentals will bring the total budget to approximately 50,000 USD. This is about N18,000,000 (Eighteen million naira) @ N360 per dollar. Hepzibah is a very brilliant girl with great potentials and is currently in Senior Secondary year 1 (SS1) at the Fdetal Government Girls College, Abuloma. Born in Port Harcourt and daughter of Mrs LeeLee Oladipo ( nee Nwikina; of Kono Town) and Pastor Gbenga Oladipo (of Ibadan, Oyo State). Hepzibah is the first of two daughters of concerned parents who are passionately seeking for support to bring her pains to an end. We therefore humbly appeal for financial support to raise the money required ($50,000 USD) to enable Hephzibah overcome this medical challenge within the next few months. A special account has been opened for this purpose and all supports should be sent into this fund. We can never finish loving one another, so the debt of love continues. Jesus summarised the Law as loving God absolutely, and loving neighbours as oneself (Matt. 22:37-40). We never plan to offend or harm those we love. Loving God is a greater motivation than obeying commands. A rich young man came to Jesus and left sad because, despite his vast wealth and religious devotion, he could not share such riches with the poor and needy around him (Matthew 19:16-24). Can Africans learn this lesson? True love will silence the guns of violent and bitter conflict across the continent faster than political detente or military intervention. Land and chieftaincy tussles, ethnic rivalry, slavery, child marriages, oppression and exploitation will give way to peace. This kind of love results from a transformed life. Nice one. Honorarium is not bad but the motive behind it is what matters before God. |
I will be talking about "Honorarium". Is it right for ministers to accept honorarium? Some people will love this one because it involves ministers of God. First and foremost; let's establish the meaning of the key word. Honorarium according to English Dictionary is defined as "Compensation for services that do not have a predetermined value". Compensation is the act of compensating and to compensate means to "pay or reward someone in exchange for work done or some other consideration". Predetermine means to determine or decide in advance". Value means "The quality that renders something valuable or desirable". Now, you see that the value of service ministers render cannot be decided in advance, that's because it's not a secular kind of job that salary and wages must be discussed and agreed upon. God bless you too dear. Indeed we can't forget even after forgiving but thank God that forgiveness takes the pain away. |
We often misquote some scriptures, what did the Bible say about forgiveness? Only God can and He alone does forgive and forget. The Bible never asked us to forgive and forget rather Jesus commanded us to forgive so our Heavenly Father will also forgive us. Forgiveness is a prerequisite. Having established the four levels of Satan's accusations, let's also consider fair means of defusing his lies. Each one of us will find a way of dealing with the enemy's accusations, but here are some fairly standard means of defusing his lies. 1. Confess and repent. Satan's accusations carry a sting because they usually contain a certain fraction of truth. So go ahead, get violent. Confess your sin, call it in its worst terms, and repent of it. You are not a sinner who struggles to love God; you are a lover of God who struggles with sin. You are primarily a lover of God, not a sinner. That is your bottom line identity. So, do violence one more time to any known sin or compromise and confess it freely to God, receiving His forgiveness. Satan's accusations function on at least four levels*: 1. He accuses God to us. Satan will point to the way God is fathering us, and he will say, "Look at how God is treating me! " (His accusations always sound like your own voice and your own thoughts, but they're actually his thoughts interjected into your mind). "I can't believe God is making me go through all of this. God is a tyrant. There is nothing good about the way He is treating me. How can I possibly trust Him when He is handling me this way? He is not fulfilling His promises to me. I don't think He ever will, either". Satan wants us to adopt an accusatory posture toward God. That's why loving God in the midst of your pain is so powerful spiritually, doing warfare to Satan's schemes. click link to see all four https://www.peaceablepeace.com.ng/2019/07/levels-of-satans-accusations.html?m=1 |
There are lots of debate and confusion between this two words, "dating and courting". Some use it interchangeably. What prompted me to write this was a question a brother asked on his status demanding responses. Is dating the same as courtship? My answer is NO! Dating and courting are two different things entirely and should never be mistaken as same. According to English Dictionary, Dating is a form of romantic courtship typically between two individuals with the aim of assessing the other's suitability as a partner in an intimate relationship or as a spouse. The result of dating may at any time lead to friendship, any level of intimate relationship, marriage, or no relation. Please note the words in italics here. Dating involves intimate assessment of each other for suitability. In dating, as you can see, there are no certainties or promises. Dating may or may not lead to marriage. We see the word 'courtship' mentioned in the above definition. Please, let's not forget the word 'romantic courtship' as seen above. Romantic involves romance and romance is an intimate, romantic relationship between two people; a love affair. Nigeria has not failed us, it is Nigerians that have failed. We have failed and we have to do something to correct our wrong. The country is in a state of mess because we don't really care about it. Is it possible for a land to fail? No, the people in the land are the ones that fail not the land. We know that our leaders have failed us but have we not also failed ourselves? Look at our streets, gutters and roads. People don't have good sense of managing waste. Waste products are being disposed carelessly, drainage channels are being blocked with refuse of different kinds. Contractors will be given contracts to work on our roads, they will share the money and then use substandard materials which will leave the road in the same or even worst state. Someone will blame the government for this. Yes, I still will agree with you because the government can come up with a proper Waste Management System that can equally create employment for Nigerians but since we don't have that yet, let's utilize the ones that has been made available to us. The government can inculcate check and balance so that people can be monitored in every given contract and deliver accordingly. I have seen people empty their trash on the street whenever it's raining, I've seen people sweep dirt into gutters; market women do these a lot, people will sit inside vehicles eat and throw the waste on the road. Is the government responsible for all these? At least, they have provided us with gutters to channel and manage drainage properly but we block the gutters. Then when it rains, everywhere will be flooded and people will be complaining that the government is not doing anything about it. Haba! There are designated places for dumping our trash at approved times, so why don't we keep to that? Until we take up responsibilities, until Social Responsibility becomes everybody's responsibility we can not get anywhere. Stop saying that you are not the only one that is doing it, after all, Follow the below link to finish: https://www.peaceablepeace.com.ng/2019/01/biafra-is-not-solution.html?m=1 |
I started this series by establishing the fact that there is punishment for every employer that withholds employees wages because when the employees cry to God for that matter, God counts it as a sin against the employer and every sin has its deserved punishment. Today, let's also consider employees that defraud employers. Is there really anything like employees defrauding employers? If there is, then what is the punishment for such act? Really? If that was actually the case why did God fight for Moses and Aaron? Why did they (Korah and Co) die an unusual death? Maybe you should follow through to know what actually happened to brave Korah and his acquaintances. |
There is punishment for every rebellion. One must not rebel against God and against His anointed because the punishment of rebellion could be very grievous. Some may been given an opportunity to repent and make it right again while some may never get such an opportunity to repent but will end up been consumed by their rebellious act. Korah, Dathan, Abiram and the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense are a good example of those that were destroyed by rebellion. Numbers 16:[1] "Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: [2] And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: [3] And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?" These men accused Moses and Aaron of self-importance, they were not contented with the office where God has called them to serve but wanted Moses' office. [8] "And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi: [9] Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?" These were ministers of God rebelling against the man of God that God has set over them. Being a leader or minister in Church does not make you equal with your pastor.
