Who report to human rights so that? The man obviously hated her presence in the home with him that is why she removed herself from the marriage The children are his after all so he too can and should raise them. 🥱🥱
The ministry of human rights protects people's marriage, I've witnessed countless cases including my sis in such cases.....it is best that way but to run away from your kids for such reasons is cowardice.
I've also witnessed men reporting their wives to the ministry of human rights for being irresponsible. It goes vice versa.

Human rights will stop the man from beating the woman while under the same roof? Or, can they prevent the man from stabbing and killing the wife?

If the wife knows the husband's tendencies, it will be a foolish thing for her to keep living with the man and reporting him to human rights.
Oga, if your wife report you to the ministry of human rights with proofs you are a gunner ooo, I'm not talking about reaching out to human rights activists, I'm referring to reaching out to the ministry of human rights.
The man go fill undertaking form him sense go come back.
It happened to my own sis, hers was that her husband wasn't even physically aggressive on her but he failed to take his responsibilities while everyone knew he was capable of it.
No allow illiteracy scatter your children life ooo, if you have issues with your spouse and you have kids solve it as an educationist instead of running away leaving your kids behind as a woman. Tufiakwa!

Lol. I had my BA in philosophy ten years ago. And I've built other degrees on it ever since...

Philosophy doesn't contradict religion. There's no lucid premise for such a bold claim.

In fact, Francis Bacon echoes (what I believe to be the thread than runs through Ontology and Theology) that "little philosophy inclines the mind towards atheism while depth in philosophy brings one into religion."

That said, it's rather exuberant to call a man who would die for his faith stupid. What is life if all you do is self-preservation. Life is meant to be lived for what it matters! Jesus died for His faith. His Apostles did. The early model believers did. They stayed resolute in the face of the threat of death for their faith.

Socrates somewhat did the same. Choosing to die for virtue than escape his persecution!

Except of course you tow the path of the atheist and call religion itself stupid. Don't call men who refuse to be cowered by PERSECUTION stupid. That's not sound logical thinking, neither is it godly or pious reasoning.
You're still giving your points from a Christian perspective..... persecution doesn't mean salvation. That you don't fear being persecuted does not mean hope of salvation.
Christianity brained washed us that persecution means salvation.
There are references I would have touched out to you but it's baseless, the more I give my facts- the more you keep your stand with facts as well and at the end we won't still agree on the same theory.

You better leave him to his own problem and go and live your own life. Before he put you in a situation where you forgo your life to raise his kids. Let him hire nanny. This his cheapness is probably why the wife ran away. Go and find your own husband and runaway too. A word is enough for the wise.

Or you will wake up at 50 and realize you wasted your life for a sibling that can’t keep a marriage. He will even have time to make more children and bring them to you to raise. Let him learn his own lesson. 5 children and he allowed the wife to go? He’s not a serious man. When you have more than 2 kids with anyone you have to treat them well so they don’t runaway. If you sit down raise kids for one week, all the madness wey de your head go run.
You still believe cork and bull stories like this??

There is nothing like migrants within a country.

We only have rural-urban migration due to unequal opportunities and poor leadership.

You cannot call your fellow countrymen and women migrants, it's a treasonable offense if Nigeria had law. Calling your fellow countrymen and women migrants ought to attract a long jail term because it's a treasonable offense but in Nigeria, the law is selective and that's why Nigeria is not working.

If you want to control who comes into Southwest, you Yoruba leaders should stop being cowardly and be bold and courageous enough to demand for a separate Yoruba or Southwest country where you will have your own country's immigration, Police and Border Security to checkmate migrants coming into your country.

But as long as you guys want Nigeria to remain one indivisible nation, you have no legal right or backing to stop law abiding citizens of Nigeria from moving and living freely anywhere they want in Nigeria.
You nailed it, if the SW don't want anybody in their states they should seek for their own nation, I don't know why the ewedus are like this? They don't have any ground, they prefer to sink in a boat with the igbos instead of swimming across offshores for their own safety.
I wonder how naive it is to complain over this matter, they are quick to criticize and quick to sentiments but they will learn in a hard way.
A time will come when the ewedus would be the first to seek for referendum, but we die here 😂😂, why I like this country is that everybody will get burnt when the fire starts.

The founder of Islam led his disciples to war so any Muslim speaking against war is not a true followers of Muhammad!
Led his disciples to war on what course??
I think he was against caravans to disrupt the Meccan economy and also for his political ambitions just like Christ chose to defend man kind by dying for humanity.....the same course different pattern.
Muhammad went to war primarily to defend his community, conquer Mecca, and expand the influence of Islam after facing persecution from his own tribe, the Quraysh. His campaigns were also directed against other tribes that opposed the spread of Islam.
Does that justify why Christians don't have to defend themselveshuh
Christianity EtcRe: Who Attacked First, Crusaders Or Muslims?? by manuelkel(op): 6:48am On Nov 23, 2025
SpencerForbes:
The truth is, those people weren't real Christians; those were the Catholicans just trying to grab more political power and control things. Back in the medieval days, the Church was basically part of the government, and the kings used it to make rules stick. Think of the massive power the Bishop has in chess—that's how much control the church had. So, it was absolutely more about politics and being power-hungry than actual religion.

And we still see that mentality today in 'churchians.' Those are the people who sincerely believe that following the rules of the physical church blindly is a better guarantee for getting into heaven than focusing on following God directly.
Explicit explanation, the actions of those catholicans have really painted Christianity, to have perpetuated genocide against unbelievers the history stands that they were ‘Christians’....Christ's likes....just like the Muslims.
I'm sure that the perspectives of Muslims are different, some fight with good course while some fight with bad course but it still doesn't differentiate who's who since it's a religion.
Christianity EtcRe: Who Attacked First, Crusaders Or Muslims?? by manuelkel(op): 6:41am On Nov 23, 2025
MaxInDHouse:
Greetings to you Sir, i really appreciate it when some individuals come out to ask such thought provoking questions so i will say thank you once again for seeking clarity on this matter.
To start with i want you to know that the people fighting or let's say defending using weapons were never Christians Jesus the man from Nazareth taught his followers never to raise weapons against anyone in the process of settling issues {Matthew 26:52} this means they should not think of setting standards for people forcefully or imposing their beliefs on people who feels differently about their faith! Matthew 10:16
So what went wrong?
Jesus used a parable to tell his disciples what will happen when they are no more he said this teaching will be for a short period of time {Luke 18:8} then Satan will use his own agents to overlay what Jesus and his Apostles taught the disciples but instead of fighting to stop this evil deeds things will be left like that for a long time until towards the end of this system of things then angels will start separating true Christians from false religionists claiming Christians! Matthew 13:24-30 & 36-43
Jesus later revealed to apostle John that the separation will occur in our time! Revelations 14:15

So it was after the death of Apostles or when they were sleeping in death that Satan was able to enforce false religions claiming Christians on people everywhere his agents go instead of humbly preaching and teaching just as Jesus commanded {Matthew 10:11-14; 28:19-20} this people were forcefully imposing their beliefs on people claiming they are doing so for Jesus.

Well Jesus returned in the year 1914 and began restructuring his group though it was really tough for imperfect humans to welcome this changes but after some time true Christianity was restored so that Jesus' disciples are now preaching and teaching again globally as they used to do in the first century.

So when people are blaming Muslims for fighting they don't know that these Muslims didn't start the fighting rather it's false religionists claiming Christians that were using force to impose their rule on people therefore the Muslims thought it's about rulership and not God that's why they are now doing exactly the same thing false Christians started back then.

God bless you and may you have peace!
Greetings too, well you've spoken right from a Christian perspective, but if you deny they were not christians as history recorded then why do you think that the Muslims fighting for their religious course are pure Muslims??
There are seven different sects in Islam, namely Sunni, Shia, Whabbi, Salafi, Berelvi, Sufi and Deobandi (Seven Sects) have different perspectives on creativity and relations in Islam.
Any of these sects could have a different view of this argument but that doesn't make entirely the 7 sects criticized for an action carried out by one or two sects depending on their perspectives and the same doctrine....
But your point “false religionists” has given me an hint that you have a point.
All these propagandas were initiated by “false religionists” which has transcended till date causing more harm than good.

Christianity EtcRe: Who Attacked First, Crusaders Or Muslims?? by manuelkel(op): 1:59am On Nov 23, 2025
Many (Christians) recognise that there was a need to defend the vulnerable Christians of the Holy Land. Thus the First Crusade was an understandable (possibly justifiable) belated response to the initial Muslim aggression in the first expansionist jihad which conquered and subjugated vast Christian regions.

Islam is the paradigm of religion born as imperial power. No other faith was intentionally founded to be a successful amalgam of faith and power. Although Muslims did not convert the world at the point of the sword, they did try to conquer it in the fastest and largely permanent conquest of recorded military history.
Christianity EtcRe: Who Attacked First, Crusaders Or Muslims?? by manuelkel(op): 1:45am On Nov 23, 2025
Are christians supposed to fight back or just pray and fast?
Clear persecution against Muslims.

Self-defence does not involve marching halfway across the world to butcher pregnant women and babies, slaughter defenceless civilians and roast small children on stakes. There was nothing “defensive" about it.

Sunnis, Shia, Jews, Copts, Orthodox Christians? Who cares, the Crusaders indiscriminately massacred them all in cold blood.

The only sense in which the Crusades were a reaction to anything was the Seljuk conquests of the Near East. But by the time the Crusade reached Jerusalem, the city had been captured by the Shia Fatimid dynasty of Egypt, and they were approached as allies.

But the Crusaders ignored this and instead carried out one of the most heinous mass atrocities in human history, genocide against the civilian populace.

From this can be seen what the Crusaders really were. A band of savage murderers no better than the Mongols.

The only people who argue otherwise are modern racists with a right wing agenda.
Christianity EtcRe: Who Attacked First, Crusaders Or Muslims?? by manuelkel(op): 1:41am On Nov 23, 2025
were crusaders an act of defense?

No. And to be clear, we know they weren’t because that’s what the Crusaders said.

The Crusades were launched by the Council of Clermont in 1095, with Pope Urban II and a bunch of allies issuing a call for Christian warriors to go to the Holy Land. We’ve got several accounts of that conference and its announcements, so we’ve got a pretty good idea of the rationale behind the war. And self-defense was not on the menu. The position of the council was that there were Christians off to the east suffering under the oppression of infidels, and war against those infidels in defense of those Christians was justified. There was no indication whatsoever that anyone in western Europe felt at all threatened by encroaching Islam, nor that they were justified in reconquering Christian land, nor that this was retaliation for a long history of Muslim attacks. It was about coming to the defense of Christians elsewhere who were in need. It was about going somewhere else to help someone else, not self-defense.
