You know the thing ehn,
When you join nairaland at first, its soo exciting, so many diff people to talk to, so many diff topics to comment on.
After 2-3 months of being addicted, it gets boring. Same faces, same kinda comments blah blah

The people that were addicts this time last year, are no where to be found now. Its a cycle. Someone will replace iceberylin v soon. Someone will replace marieolae, someone will replace naijaboiy, tosyne2much etc. Your spark will definitely fade smiley smiley smiley

Yeah these arm robbers don't give a flying toss. They opened the fridge and stole all the available food. They stole pepper, maggi, salt, thyme etc. Infact till now I just dey wonder. Yeah I'm over it, but we try to keep things very safe now.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Share Your Robbery Experiences Here... by marieolae(f): 8:06am On Dec 05, 2014
Well mine happened 2 months ago.

It was actually on a sunday. We came back from church. It was my aunt and I who were at home. We heard a knock on the door, so we expected it to be some family members.

I answered the door nd saw 3 guys and a lady. I didn't recognise them from anywhere and I thought they had gotten the wrong house. They asked for " femi" or so. I told them that they were at the wrong house. They told me to ask my aunt If she knew any "femi" around the area. They insisted, so I left the door slightly open and hurried into the kitchen so that my aunt could help these people out.

On my way to the kitchen, they rushed inside the house. They brought out their guns and ordered us to lay on the floor. We followed their instructions. They stole as much as they could. Money, my phone, gold, food, laptops everything.

To cut the long story short, these arm robbers got away with it. The police made no effort to find them, and they are on the loose right now. embarassed

RomanceRe: How Promising Is Distance/social Media Relationship? by marieolae(f): 5:36pm On Dec 04, 2014
benromeo39:
it is perfectly normal and healthy for kids between age 14 and 17. I did it years ago on 2go and I was like Solomon surrounded by hundreds of concubines.

But you are between 23-35, you are still saying "I love you, boo" "I wish I could just hold you, boo" "I'm longing for you, boo" through the Internet or via calls to someone u aren't even sure u'll see, then let's make preparations to beg the old woman that has tied ur destiny to a wheelchair in the village.

For those ones that started the relationship physically, hold on if he's serious about settling down, if not, find your way or "why always me?" will be your new anthem.
lol very funny.

Long distance/social media relatnships sometimes work, if both parties are truly serious, but the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.Case in point;a young lady travelled to Aba to physically meet a guy she met & had bn chatting with, on Facebook,on meeting with him at the park waiting to welcome her,he quickly told her she looked different from the person he saw on Facebook..lol grin grin, and he ended up dumping her at d park & quickly disappeared. The babe sef no come carry extra cash, just incase. She found herself stranded without cash to go back to her state,it was the mercy of the park manager of the vehicle she earlier used, that saved her ass.We were actually in the same vehicle,it was after she dropped, the conductor now narrated all this to us.So much for social media relatnshps...SMH.
c'mon now, that's really heartless. Wow
