Hi guys, bought my Phantom last week . Pls I need tips on optimizing the use of d battery.

Omo I just bought this Techno @Slot for 34.5k yday ,d phone na bomb. Pls how can I maximise d battery

Tnx guys!

ILIDEFI: If not for Tecno, Samsung galaxy grand duos wud have been a high end smartphone, and wud'v been unaffordable by most of d ppl commenting here. Compare d specs and prices of S3 and grand duos, and see dat it wz phantom dat pushed Samsung mobile to drop d price of dat grand duos. Tecno has done so well and deserves much credit. For someone like me dat suffered for almost one yr in d hand of HTC Inspire 4G, Tecno Phantom which I'm currently using is a big blessing.

That's the spirit! Samsung users are just angry that Tecno users can now enjoy same facility at a ridiculous low price

akinlolusewanu9: The same thing Nokia and LG told Samsung years back. Look at them now, eyeing Samsung as they go after Apple.

Tecno won't catch up easily because of their customers region and cash. But if they have chosen few African countries to operate they can thrive and have devices that would be standard anywhere in the world.

Mind you there are phones that are only made for Korean, Japanese and chinese markets that are very outstanding. Apple's Finger print sensor for iPhone 5S is already happening on some korean brands but you won't know.

Reviews of these devices are not online like that but does not undermine the integrity of the phone.

Trust me, consistency and research is a powerful tool that Tecno will use to thrive.

True talk, I always like constructive criticism not what I read on most review on Nairaland. We may continue to badmouth Tecno as long as we like but know that 5yrs from now they will be phone manufacturer to contend with at the pace of their researches.

A Female is needed to share a 2BD Flat along Ikosi Road Ketu. Call 08093139628

silvernice: Pls my brother don't waste precious time explaining what these dogmatized Samsung users can't see with their three eyes open. these companies are out there for making money and some guys r here defending Samsung. How many variants did HTC release for the desire series? Yet none could address the power consumption even tho they brag of the snap dragon and exynos processors.
I used to be an HTC fan But I'm tired of taking my charger every where u go rather than my Bible so I quit.

flexing my gta III on my f7. hater plz go hug barb wire!

LOL,LOL. Abeg no kill me with laugh ooo!!!

physise: airtel bb plan..to subscribe dial *440*16# cost N1500 data cap:2gb or dial *440*161# cost N1500 to get 4gb use internet.ng.zain.com as ur apn

But I dialed *440*16# and got 240mb

Seems Airtel have caught up with Us ooo, I have been experiencing same since Tue, called them and was told it will be rectified within 24hrs

diesean: I noticed mine too...since dis morning

for 1050mb @1,200 send BSM to 440

paeffiong: I hav been usin MTN data plan in surfin de net but i wanna switch over to Airtel. Pls i nid som1 in da house to drop de code for subscribin via Airtel and also de cost shd be included.

Use Airtel ,its better.

fxstudent: I don't mean to be disrespectful but I'm sure if you ask Google, you'll find your answer there.

Hi, pls which network, I am interested.

biomedixexcel: This is d solution
Add more credit to make it more than #1500 den send d code again.
Don't worry #1000 will still be deducted

viazi: @ All, VERY IMPORTANT BATTERY SAVING TIP for F7, there is this STUPID VIBRATION I noticed initially on my phone whenever I press any ALPHABET wen typing anytin on the Phone, that ALPHABETH VIBRATION DRAINS BATTERY GREATLY...turn it off and your battery will be great. IF U NOTICE THAT YOUR PHONE ALWAYS VIBRATE ANTYTIME U PRESS AN ALPHABETH DURING TYPING, TURN IT OFF AND SEE BATTERY MIRACLE.TURN OFF KEYPAD TONE AND VIBRATION

UP TECNO, UP F7

I did that with my LG P698 whose battery last for about 3hrs. So I turned off all vibration, keypad tones , put off d internet when busy, so I able to use it for 8hrs or thereabout!

Hmm, been following this thread from the beginning. I fell in love with the phone then fell out of it again. I must say that battery problem is peculiar to Android phone(am using one now) but the complains on this platform is overwhelming!!! Wont mind giving d phone a trial if I get free bucks somewhere!
