Good day house. I pray we will mark the end of this year with PPR testimonies. The only thing we need with the processing is to fulfill application requirements to the best of our abilities and to seek GOD'S MERCY. Some people paid full tuition with POF of #70million and got rejected while some people did not pay any tuition fee with POF of #8million and gt approval. Happy New Year in advance house.

Good evening house. I decree we shall have loads of PPR tomorrow. My friend, a Nigerian residing in the Gambia just got his PPR this morning. He had initially applied from Nigeria in July because he thought that could give him an edge since it's his home country, but unfortunately he was refused. He reapplied again from the Gambia (a legal resident) early October and got his PPR this morning without any significant changes from his previous application.I'm just Baffled and he was actually surprised on why he was rejected in his home country and accepted in a foreign land. To the gurus in the house ,What could be reason ? Just curious

Good morning house. I just sent my passport to DHL for stamping... I did IELTS 2 times before i know about this thread. I finished secondary school 2014. Then i went for a teaching class for 2 years and got a teacher certificate, then i went into teaching job for 5 years. I got admission to Cape Breton University around August 2021 for January intake without IELTS score. Am 25 years old going for an undergraduate course.

My timeline is as follows:-
Application submitted:- 13 September, 2021
Biometrics done:- 17 September, 2021
Medical request:- 18 November, 2021
Medical done at Qlife:- 13 December, 2021
Qlife sent an email that medical has been submitted to IRCC on the 25th December
Medical status:- Not updated yet
BVL and PPR:- 29, December 2021

Documents submitted:-
- Letter of acceptance from cape Breton University
-Waec result
-Certificate of teaching
-Employment letter as a teacher for 5 years
-Police Character Certificate
-Data page of International Passport
-Passport photograph
-Birth Certificate
-My bank statement from my daddy account (10 million naira). Note my Daddy is my sponsor.
-Landed property
I was somehow confused about tuition deposit because i see it here that people are paying school fees deposit. I only paid for the processing fee when i want to upload my credentials. So i was loosing hope that if the visa is refused i will pay deposit in my next application. But God did it...

I do hope that this post has given fresh hope to someone on the journey. That is the essence.

With God all things are possible!!!

Good morning house, I submitted my application last night and I have just been so nervous since then, just thinking about all what I have been through to put all those documents together and what the outcome will be , but I believe everything will end in praise for all of us in Jesus name. Please which visa office handles online applications from the Gambia?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by MARINA49: 11:26am On Dec 24, 2021
Pls house I'm just curious. Which visa office handles online applications from the Gambia. I suppose Dakar visa office which is the nearest office as Gambia gt no Canadian embassy but I do see Nairobi handling applications from Nigeria when Nigeria gt It's own Visa office. Thanks for the information, I think I am good to go with your analysis with extra 3k left
Anon123:
Convert your first year tuition fee and 10,000cad to naira. If it meets that amount or less, you are good to go
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by MARINA49: 11:19am On Dec 24, 2021
I ' m going for self sponsorship with that amount although my uncle will still support with his bank statement of about #8millon
Ketima:
From ircc website, the said application should show Tuition(first year) + 10,000(living expenses)+ 3,000(others/miscellaneous).

Now even showing that, you also have to sow how you intend to pay for the (2nd year Tuition+living expenses+ others).

So with these, is the 9.4 million enough?

And since you're using a sponsor, and I guess your sposnor has family. So is it from this same money that your sposnor will use to take care of his or her family?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by MARINA49: 10:42am On Dec 24, 2021

sure English.Thank you very much .

Hello MARINA49,

I believe English is your country's first language?! If it is, it makes no difference if you include it or not. Since you have it, include it if you feel like it.

Best of Luck
Good evening house , I've been offered post grad. Certificate admission in Conestoga college for spring 2022. I am preparing to apply for visa ,but the issue is that I took IELTS in other to speed up my application processing , however the result wasn't good enough. I got 6. 5 band overall but 5.5 in listen ing and reading . Should I include the result in my application or ignore it ? I think it could limit my chances. Waiting for your responses.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by MARINA49: 7:15pm On Nov 21, 2021
Thanks so much for your contribution. I planned to convince the VO with the fact that I would like to establish a school, since I already got an uncompleted building in my name. How do you see that? ob
Bobomaigida:
Hi Marina, on the surface the funds seem enough but is the 12K cad the totality of the funds in your Dad's account? He will need to state the amount he will be contributing to you and it must not be the whole amount in his account, because he needs to show that he still has some funds to take care of his other responsibilities. Also you are going for biz mgt course while being a teacher, how will you explain your career progression? Teaching and Biz aren't related. Do you have study gaps? Kindly look at this when drafting your SOP so that you are not denied based on purpose of visit.

[Can someone please answer my question ❓quote author=MARINA49 post=107813087]Good evening house. I've been a silent member of this group for a sometimes now. I'm a Nigerian but reside and work in the gambia. I teach in an international school. I've just secured an admission for a 2 year PGD in strategic global business management at conestoga college for spring 2022 . I'm preparing to apply for visa soon but I don't know whether my statement of account would be adequate to pull me through as I am going to sponsor my self. I got CAD24,000 in my personal account, please note that I have paid first semester tuition. I'm using my dad as support and he equally got about CAD 12,000 in his own account. Do you think those statements will be enough to take me through as per proof of fund sufficiency? Experts should please analyse and tell me If I have any chance. Patiently waiting for your responses.
