atheistandproud: Thanks for the comment.
About a year ago, when I first started taking pictures. I put them on my WhatsApp status. I saw no need to watermark them. Some saw it and commended me, others ignored it totally but I didn't mind.
One day, I saw my photo on the phone of an acquaintance and when I asked if he got it from my status, he told "your photo ke?". It stung me sha but still I let it pass.
Sometime later, I did a status recap and was posting some old shots when two persons accosted me and accused of stealing status from others as posting as mine. At that point I decided enough was enough.
People who almost never commented on my status had my pictures and weren't crediting me. They were saying internet, internet. Even after I started watermarking and using the edges, trust Nigerians, they would simply crop it out. So I deleted a lot of numbers from my phone. I only have 17 WhatsApp contacts, down from 53 or so.
Even here on NL, one troubled soul has accused me of stealing my own pictures. My own photos from Shutterstock. How can one steal his own photo?
I have researched extensively on how to place watermarks and the general consensus is that, so long as it doesn't affect the subject area or draw attention away from the photo then it can be placed almost anywhere and at any Font size.
I have a healthy IG and FB page where I post photos and it's only Nigerians that have complained about my watermarks. Only Nigerians.
I don't think I can go back to using the sides and edges again. The only thing I can do is make it a bit more translucent and reduce the Font size but that position, makes it incredibly difficult to crop the photo.
Thank you for the observation once more. This is an eye opener... I'm jumping on the bandwagon

Innov8ve1: Hello can you please share your experience with this xiaomi redmi 7a? i am considering the phone but will like to know about its performance from someone who uses it. Does it get uncomfortably hot during usage? does it get hot while charging? does the phone hang during usage and while switching from one app to the other? how loud are the speakers? Are there issues with ads popping up on the phone when connected to the internet? How well does the battery last? Any comments about the general performance of the phone?
Will be anticipating your feedback in earnest thanks. Maybe you should just get the newer redmi 8a instead... |

ITbomb: You call it IR Blaster like it's some badass tech I'm not saying it is a badass tech, but it comes in handy sometimes like when your appliance's remote is faulty and you are yet to get a replacement... Or when the remote is a bit far and you are too tired to get to it. I meant no disrespect in my earlier post bro, peace. |

Joshkid: can I download any of these links??. I'm curious about the large size difference between both links The first link is the original while the second is the highly compressed version. Downloading the highly compressed will save you a bit of data but be warned that some highly compressed roms are prone to lag of misbehave... Lastly always download via the ONEDRIVE link |

Actually I revisited that old psp forum thread here on nairaland where you recommended SOCOM 3 and posted some screenshots, so I decided to try it out. [quote author=MobileGees post=86965012]Maybe it's because I downloaded a highly compressed r.i.p rom... because I face the same problem with ppsspp, whereby some highly compressed rip games lag but when I download the full one from freeroms it plays flawlessly. let me just continue managing ppsspp until I downloaded a full GameCube/Wii game... |
