it's simply the time your screen was on/active since last full charge.

Back in the day you actually feel fulfilled whenever you end a game unlike now that 90% of android games have autoplay and are P2W. 80% of the available android games are simply clones of thmeselves.That the good old days when the biggest game was quake 2 I still remember playing it on my 97 32gb when I played it on N95(has a 3d chip) I was blown away by the graphics. I still have a e63 currently am planning on opening a museum containing all the previous symbian phones i have used.

correct, that's the point I was trying to make. he probably doesn't stress the device which is good, but saying that the device doesn't/never heats up is a very wrong theory.

Sometimes when I use it for a long time, it never get hot and I would feel the little warm it gets is from my own hands and not from the system. The phone is damn cool

that's why I mentioned earlier that it depends on how you use the device... even gaming devices heat up during prolonged intense usage. you are wrong for saying "redmi 8a never heats up"... give me your device for 30 minutes, I will push it to the extent it will heat up and freeze then reboot itself...

that depends on how you use the device, online gaming, using the device in hot environment or directly under the sun, using while charging, using two or more demanding apps simultaneously can make any device get warm...

16% for 1h24 is quite normal but it can slightly get better depending on
1. the level of brightness
2. video player app used

in my opinion, restricting data access for Google play services isn't a good move as it is a core app that many of your installed apps need to function effectively... Moreover it isn't a data sucker.

This is not true. I wonder why nobody debunked this comment (o layikajnr and m inorak excluded). On low-end phones, disabling animations( or enabling the function to disable animations) improves the device operability and has no negative effect on battery life. Only the aesthetic appeal the animations give that is lost. Which is a small price to pay to have a smoother device.

Done this before but phone's still hanging until I enabled "Remove Animation" in Additional Settings... My phone is running smoothly now.

no wahala sha, turning off animation takes the joy of the device away for me but since it works for you, then it's all good...

Please guys if your phone is hanging... Go to settings → Additional Settings → Remove Animation (Just Enable it).... Your phone will start running with the speed of light!!!! Try it.

this takes away the joy of operating the device, it is better to reduce the animation scale in developer options.

it is just being overhyped because 2020 has been a bad movie year (courtesy of covid19), but I was really disappointed on this one. The only thing that movie has is some good visual effects... the movie was just scattered all over the place.
