You can submit your application to IRCC. It'll be great to do a further test right now. I pray you succeed and there are no complications in your medicals.

Please i need your opinion on this

I did upfront medical earlier this week but was asked to do further test to confirm if i have TB. The result will be forwarded to the embassy in 8-10 weeks.

I want to know if this is not a red flag (although o am sure i DO NOT have TB)

Also, can i proceed with submitting my application IRCC even while waiting for the medicals result? I am to resume January 2025.

Testimony Time!

I left Nigeria on Friday night, arrived Montreal International Airport yesterday.

On seeing me, after custom declaration , the following is the conversation between me and the immigration officer that I approached for my Study permit:

Officer : You are here to study right ?
Me: Yes
Officer : What is the name of your school ?
Me: XYZ
Officer : What is your course of study ?
Me: XYZ
Officer : Please follow the directions to the next room to pick your study permit there .
Me: Thank you so much.

I went straight to the room and in about 5 minutes another officer came with my documents, handed them over to me and directed me on how to join connecting flight to my destination.

It was easier than I thought . I wish everyone here similar story . Just believe!!!

I give God all my praise for making it easier than I had ever imagined . God still answers prayers , keep praying.

There's no one standard to the way IRCC works. Even though we say Medical is like the last step before a decision, there are people whose upfront medical was updated as passed immediately and still had delay in their application. The best thing is just to be prayerful and keep faith.

You can't appeal a study visa denial. What you should do is request for your GCMS notes first. Use the decision for your refusal in your GCMS notes to put up a strong application and apply again. Or you can take them to court if you think this your denial wasn't judged fairly, but I won't advise you to go this route. I wish you all the best.

Good day everyone so I applied for Canada student visa last month got a reply yesterday and it was denied Due to insufficient funds and assets documents and they where not convinced that I will leave Canada at the end of my study I don’t know if it’s possible to appeal?

Hello everyone, is it true that you can only defer your admission two weeks before the program start date in Conestoga? I read their deferral guide but saw nothing there. It was someone who once deferred that told me this.

A big thank you to everyone on here. My sister's visa just got approved on our second attempt. We submitted June 28th, sent webform a few times on Sunday, and PPR dropped today! We all did this together, once again, a big thank you to everyone!
P.S. The first refusal was due to lack of family ties and financial issues. This time around, we used our parents as family ties and as far as the financial part is concerned, we made a big mistake of using an ordinary investment slip as POF, GCMS note came back and it was noted that the investment certificate was given "less weight" because it wasn't from a commercial bank. We deposited a huge amount into her account, and supported it with some docs and the rest naa story...

Nothing you can do about it. Just take screenshots of every of your input fields so it'll be easier to fill the next time. Also don't create an application if you're not ready to submit within 2 weeks.

You can change careers since you have some certifications and work experience. But please ensure that your work experience in your new area of interest is about 2 years to put up a convincing SOP during your visa application.

Please I need help with detailed visa sop, I want to transition to a new career path different from what am currently doing. I have some certifications and work experience in the new career I intend applying for.

My head is full, I sincerely need help. I want to voluntarily retire from my current job, I don't know if VO will want to see the letter of retirement in my visa application. Please anyone with useful information should please help. Am so confused of what to do and how to go about this.

The school’s deferment deadline is September 16th so I still have till the end of the month. And yes!, I’m a first time applicant on IRCC portal.

Just defer your admission to January. And take your time to reapply.

I'm certain you won't have a problem because you haven't paid your full tuition. Just ensure that the documents you used in applying for your study visa matches with the one you'll show cbsa. Most especially your POF.

Police clearance certificate isn't compulsory for a study visa. Mark Miller has stated this. Your friend can apply without it. If she still insists you can do it online and they'll forward the PDF copy to your email.

You have no cause for alarm. Your brother's passport would be returned back to him. VFS are currently on break either due to the ongoing protest or they're moving in their Lagos office. You brother can start his traveling arrangements, he'd definitely get his passport soon.

I noticed that people who applied for their study visa in April and May got feedback within a month after their submission. People who applied after first week of June are getting feedback within 6-8 weeks after they applied. I don't think it's a "New portal is slow. Old portal is fast" that everyone seems to be saying. I think they have a lot of applications right now.

Of course yes, you must notify them about the reason why you can't make it for this academy session. Registration are to be completed before classes even start, if you can't make it. Please write to them at least 7 days before the resumption date explaining to them why and wanting a deferment to January 2025.

If you meant 24m to migrate on a study visa to Australia and Canada, sorry to say, this money isn't enough to take you to both countries. Also Australia's study visa rejection rate is higher than that of Canada due to their government restrictions on study visa. There has been 53% drop in study visa approvals compared to this same time last year.
