Ok. Thanks. I created a list in my SOP where I highlighted all my documents. My intention is to link wherever I put 'see attached document' words to the pages they are located in the SOP. Knowing that POF file is uploaded separately from the SOP file has confused me. I'm using the second portal with less file upload.

Applicants Account Statement showing so so amount etc.you can download apps to merge your documents

From your explanation and what I got, you're doing 20 months study program and your POF is 22m. This isn't enough for the 2 years study program you're going for. You need at least 44m POF for the 2 years study program.

I am seriously down now,need your advice. I checked my portal yesterday and realised I was denied,one that I didn't prove I will return home and 2, that I don't have sufficient funds.

Permit me to give a detailed explanation. I was denied Visitors visa in January this year, though that was not much of a problem because dollars was very high then. I applied for my student permit like 3weeks ago with 22million as my POF. Why 22m? I got a study loan of 30k dollers from MPower,which covers my fee. Mind you,I am going for master's in project management which could take about 20months. I did that 22m because my fee was out and I have a flight reservation.

However,I allowed my POF to be 3weeks before I applied,and I removed the money the week after I submitted my application.

They are both right.
If you're not sure you can use a 1 year study program to get PR, you can just lockdown on a 2 years course.
It depends on your financial capabilities.

One said applying for a 2yrs course is better cos it gives 3yrs PGWP.

The other said, I can apply for 1yr course, come into the country, complete the 1yr course. Apply for another 1yr course and then apply for PGWP after completing the second course. That I'd still get the 3yrs PGWP

When you input your post secondary school education, you must complete your employment history section from the year you finished post secondary school till your current employment history. If you were ever unemployed, then you must choose "Unemployed" to the period you became employed. If you don't fill up the year and months, it won't save.

But I got stucked in a section of my University details because the "Save and Continue" button is grey and not responding. I have tried sign out and sign back into the portal but it is only opening and taking me to this page. Instead of running your account, just do GIC of two years. Pay your two years fees also. You said you have landed properties and your parents as home ties. You don't have any big problems. Just explain how you got your money by showing your crypto receipts and investment.

I think it depends on the schools and program of study you chose. I was admitted exactly 2 months after my application.

Thanks. So we go ahead with this. Biometric is in Lagos tomorrow and medical today. We also did the police certificate online but haven’t told to come for thumb printing. One of the requirement is paying one year school fees but we only did 10k for Connestoga . But the money in bank in usd is almost 33k cad. We will just do that into GIC account and send a webform

For MBS the bank will provide you with a sheet containing a ticket number and password with destination as Embassy of Canada NG . Ensure the sheet in pdf form and merge with others of your POF documents . Better to create a table of content for your POF section listing all all POF documents if you have many documents to merge

Someone on this platform suggested using I Love PDF site to reduce and merge pdf file. I use the regular Acrobat because I have an Adobe license. You can use Acrobat free trial version for only 14 days. If you want to use Acrobat, please don't use your main dollar card for this. You can just sign up on a platform that gives a virtual card and can use it on Acrobat.

MBS is MyBankstatement, its like a code generated for VO to confirm the authenticity of your SOA.

I think it is. I have seen a lot of Nigerian YouTubers' videos who said they did it and got an approval under 20 days. You can just do GIC for your regular study visa application.

In my opinion, you can use the valuation report if you have it but if you don’t , you can still use the other documents that you have, it all depends on the strength of your application and how important your land is in supporting your economic cum home ties . Your writing skill and other documentation can make the difference. Some people didn’t even use landed properties to get PPR. It all depends on the strength of your application and the critical role it has to play in it for you . If your landed property is one of your major proof for economic cum home ties according to how you have arranged your application, then getting a valuation report becomes crucial.

Must you evaluate any of the properties you want to use as home ties? Can I just submit the land documents and do a rough estimate of the valuation?

If you intend to use the remaining plots of land as proof of economic viz-a-viz home ties, you can show the survey plans ( and possibly valuation report) for them .

If you intend to use the proceeds from the sold ones as part of your proof of fund, you can show the sales receipts, deeds of conveyance ( which could contain the survey plans) between you and the buyers.

To be simply put, it depends on your intent in your application packaging.

Open a USD domiciliary account, buy dollar and fund the account ....then initiate a GIC process with a participating Canadian bank and wire your dollars to the bank from your dom account..there are charges for it

Is it true that I have to create a Form A application on the CBN portal to enable the bank to process payment for a GIC account application? This was what a bank staff told me.
