Buhari head strong die...anyway, you must come and complete your tenure. We are still waiting for #1 = $1. |
Ehiscotch:how much MW are we generating? It isn't enough for you and I but our government is willing to share to other countries for money? This is not how countries that want to advance behave. It is laxity to agree to such demand. No wonder Nigerians are suffering. We have a very poor thinking government. A government that doesn't care for its people. Do you think if Aso rock depended on that current its giving out, it will continue to give it out? But because its Nigerians that need it right? |
Blue3k:This offer to Benin and Niger should be a short term thing bro. Replace it with funds or security or something else. But it has been on for years and our electricity issues has been on for decades bro. It shows the unseriousness of the FG. |
Ehiscotch:We are not generating enough for ourselves bros. Why are we giving them electricity for just allowing water flow? Can't we give them something else? I think it is because the FG is not serious about solving our electricity issues. |
The ignorant folks here supporting this nonsense, I forgive your stupidity but the fact that Fashola thinks this makes sense is completely shameful. |
yarimo:We already have a lot of them leading that way. Don't worry. soon enough, I will seek you out and make you one of my praise singers on nairaland. Your job, among others, will be to go through my posts and bring out patriotic ones that will boost my profile like you're doing already. |
davidif:Alright sir. But fck em! |
erico2k2:you must be very silly. because I took it upon myself this evening to educate an ignorant simpleton like you've proven yourself to be? I maintain that the great Benin wall is the largest singular earth work ever done and not the join-join piece which is the China wall. This is the end of our conversation. |
davidif:look at you. is it only scamming Nigerians do to make money? you feel you are fulfilling all righteousness by swallowing hook line and sinker the ignorant whites man's narrative of the Nigerian youth. I am more ashamed of your ignorance because even the educated whites know the reality that Nigerians are far more enterprising and intelligent than they are willing to give credit for. so I will say it again, fck them. |
ivolt:I'm not a slave in my own home to the white mans criticism so you don't expect me to be ashamed. I believe people like you have your interpretation of what is good and evil on the premix of what the white man say which is which so I won't even bother to try to change your thinking. early this year I lost the files in my laptop to what is called cyber ransomeware. if you do a background check, you will see that this fraud originated from northern America and Europe. So if I ever get to be confronted on fraud allegations by a white man, I know how to stand my ground because I'm physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally capable. |
macof:even on Wikipedia it is written below that the current china wall undergoes remodelling , rebuilding and elongation to it's current size of 21000km while the benin wall destroyed since 1874 stood at a length of 16000km making it the longest man made structure at that time. Imagine if that empire exist today , the size it will be to accommodate for growth and population expansion .
|
erico2k2:oh you think Benin empire is just present day edo? below are the guardian reports
|
erico2k2:https://www.theguardian.com/cities/2016/mar/18/story-of-cities-5-benin-city-edo-nigeria-mighty-medieval-capital-lost-without-trace |
erico2k2:Nonsense. Obviously I cannot convince you with such level of ignorance. The Benin wall was 20000km in length while the China wall is 8800km. The wall was destroyed by the British in a punitive expedition in 1874 but parts of it are scattered around Benin till today. So it is not really known to present day journalists because Nigeria has not been able to sell itself to the world. But historians are very much aware of the great Benin kingdom. There was a Greek trivia I came across recently which went like this; The longest wall ever built by man is not located in China but where? A) India B) Nigeria C) Germany. |
ivolt:I know that's why I do my thing legally. But calling Nigerians scammers because of a few people is the greatest stupidity ever and that is what you are foolishly accepting. Makes you seem a tad bit intelligent to me. |
bantudra:I know I'm being silly but I don't care. Fck them all. |
Honestly, these people haven't seen anything yet. Let Nigerians have access to 24 hours electricity plus cheaper internet access. They will ensure that the money looted from Nigeria to develop other foreign nations will be scammed back. No shaking! If you comprehend how these 'develop' nations contribute to Africas situation you won't feel a thing for them. |
erico2k2:you fit reply me but you no fit Google the thing sharp sharp. Well, go home and read about the great Benin kingdom. You'll truly be amazed. |
erico2k2:I don't blame you, I blame the education Nigeria offered you. For your information, the Benin wall was 4 times longer. |
It is very sad now when we see the outcome of the dubious British invasion and amalgamation of North and south protectorates. As a Benin man, I'm filled with pride when I remember the great Benin empire, the great wall of Benin, recorded as the greatest earth moving work ever constructed by man in Guinness records book. Mind you, it is also the largest running military defensive network ever built by man with a length of 20,000km. It is ironic that such great people are now grouped along minority lines in the modern day Nigeria. |
Trill2b:believe me, it hasn't. I say so because none of the conferences of the past has been implemented so it is as good as not done. You know why they are not been implemented? Because our leaders are not ready to make Nigeria better. |
How sweet. Day dreaming about a restructured Nigeria when we know there is a greater possibility in achieving Biafra than Nigeria going back to regional government. The main problem of this country is that there is no equity, justice and fairness. So before we talk about restructuring we have to first have a consensus where we will agree to conditions for peaceful coexistence. Let us sit on a round table and plan and this time implement it or go back to the ones we agreed on earlier and implement them. |
Old pic |
johnbuck81:look at the woman's family life, look at the world around you, and see how useless your advice is. That you feel you know better than the MAN who gave her the go ahead to act the role is most annoying. |
johnbuck81:1 sense you don't have. In this 21st century that grammy award winning actresses are going full naked, ordinary kissing you are talking about fall hand? Are you people for real? |
Hotshawarma:who owns this child? |
Hotshawarma:yea Wizkid has music talent and is getting paid, you are you getting paid for ya asslicking talent? |
ImadeUReadThis:the rant of a madman, on no account should be taken seriously. |
ImadeUReadThis:your concluding part makes you a fool at best. |
N power should first go and make sure it is paying all those who have enrolled successfully into the program. There are a lot of complaints from poor, vulnerable people already. |
Someone that have not pass sociology finish, is it now 2pac and Biggie he will learn? |
Going...going...going... The experience, wisdom and determination igbo youths are using to request referendum now is inspiring, yorubas will have sometime in future. They don't realise that we are all Biafrans. |
