you can never find a corrupt country that has a good leader. Blaming corruption for Nigerias woes is like blaming your penis for an unwanted pregnancy. Because you are in control of your destiny and so is the Nigerian president in control of Nigerias destiny. That is why they are always advised to put the most qualified people in most sensitive posts and not all these nepotism and quota bullcrap. And the leader too should have set goals for himself and a workable plan to achieving it. Leadership is Nigerias major problem and not corruption. Corruption as well as unemployment, increasing poverty rates, poor healthcare, poor education etc are all symptoms of bad leadership. Leadership without vision, promise, sht is complicated. This argument that corruption is the reason for Nigerias woes in not logical because what then do we now say about the leadership capacity under which the corruption is thriving? |
NwaAmaikpe:this particular person must be a nonentity in real life. A broke ass efulefu. |
Nigerians are like sheeps. Without a good shepherd, we go astray. Quality leadership in all ramifications is what we seek. No begging, no forcing, just show us good leadership that'll make everything work and watch us follow. |
tuniski:As far as Im concerned, APC and PDP are the same wine in different bottles. Whatever way you want to look at it, you are entitled to your opinion. Attitude to work and service delivery is something Nigerians are generally poor at. So I appreciate the effort of the minister that's all. |
PMWSpirit:na black people dead. It is a shame everyone is shifting blame to an inanimate object. |
Ibe Kachikwu is really trying, the PIB as well as the refinery, he should be proud of his 3 years tenure as minister. |
united4men:who dey front? Buhari abi? Hehe. E be like say you neva tire for suffer and smile. |
Buhari that has no leadership value whatsoever. Leaders that cannot be transparent because of power play. Whether he is alive or dead makes no difference to anyone really except paid slaves like Femi Adesina. |
CBN is not selling to anybody, it is only selling to the who is who in the society. |
MICHEALADEX:Keeping up appearances is a very important part of celebrity life. But people who make money legitimately don't spend recklessly especially those that are trying to leave a legacy for their kids. |
This fool knows that he who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones. But the other day, he came at Phyno and Ice for no damn reason! Never apologized ![]() Maybe somedays he is foolish, and somedays he is wise. Like a junkie. |
The clamour for restructure pertaining to resource control, state police, etc is simply to bring governance closer to the people, encourage states to be more productive, it is like creating 36 countries in one nation. We all know the load is too much for the FG to manage effectively, the last 18 years have proven so. The system where the FG lords over everything wasn't even what was adopted after we got independence from the British. When our founding fathers came together to plan the future of Nigeria. No matter the disadvantages, it is a small issue compared to the ones we currently face. And yes some of the states will be badly governed but it is left to the people to determine their destinies when government is at their door step. |

OVI75:PYO is not your average politician that plays politics of hate and bitterness. |
Whatever rocks their boat ![]() Not that I believe that sh1t anyway! |
NwaAmaikpe:I never knew we had homo erectus on nl. For your information, a whole lot of Nigerians have ''developed intellectually''. |
Raunchy photo that someone cannot wankk to, is that one raunchy pic ![]() |
I smell protests. For once we might just get to see celebs hop off their high horses and stand for something. P square and co, we dey wait una for street. |
Alright then. The Great Wall of Benin, until it was destroyed in the punitive expedition, was 4 times bigger than the great wall of China. ![]() Any senseless bigot that still has a problem with such greatness can go ahead and kill itself. ![]() |
Michealforever:mecheonu there. What makes you think I don't know what I'm talking about? That your useless brain that is not able to decode sarcasm? |
swagagolic01:ahh! this is not a matter of which party is controlling senate! Nigeria has one of the most united senate in the world. The brotherhood of selfish interests. |
Nobody is claiming her as their daughter anymore ![]() |
alegbeleye:odayon the world is watching. Kill the scorpion ![]() |
Why did they not allow all those NPFL players to go and play. Na their mates dey play star sixes for other countries. They've gone to disgrace themselves now! |
Senator, if it is not devolution of powers to the states as federating units, if it is not resource control, don't call it restructuring!!! That is the only way we can be productive again. sharing of free money needs to stop. God has blessed us with so much resources and people. |
Giving the power, works and housing ministry to Fashola has proven to be like inserting a gigantic penis in a first timer's vagina. It can't fit!!! |
sapele914:Nothing wrong with the constitution? Isn't the clamor for restructuring today because of a failed system of government? If you go check history you will see that Nigerians were okay with the groundnut pyramids, palm oil etc. The naira was greater than the dollar. Because of a system were the regions were giving the federal government 50% each and the government will in turn share 20% of that percentage to the regions and make do with 30%. But ever since the military came in and forced a unitary system of waste and consumption, and the civilian regime adopted it in the 1999 constitution where has it taken us to? |
Hydrolysis:I don't understand you. It is those of you dreaming of restructuring back to regional government that are being unrealistic. |
misano:its funny thinking that ordinary implementation of a conference resolution with constitution amendment won't work. |
misano:you no like square table? On a more serious note, sitting down and talking without implementing is as good as not talking at all. I made it clear earlier but some of you don't read to comprehend, you just rush to attack mode like lion. |
three:20 months from July 2017 ![]() Of course nothing changes, then it's 20 months after March 2019. It is 20 months till sense fall on Nigerians and we vote this useless APC government out. |
