How do you know this is Edo? |
icebebe:. ![]() |
Chiwude:Lol really? for the past 20 years GEJ was the only non Edo politician from the South South to come up on top. In PDP we had Aneinh, etc and in APC we have Oyegun. How are we relevant when we have produce two Vps for Nigeria? Nonsense! |
musakanti:With this kind of comment i knew you weren't from Edo state. Yes there's a flyover in Benin built by the Obasanjor Adminstration. Who told you the rest places are village? Auchi and Uromi look better than some places you people call city here. I am not an osho fan but he tried in his term by building roads across few places in the three senatorial districts. Ekpoma and Okada are towns in Edo state that just need a little bit makeover.Few years from now places like Okpella will develop soon because of the dangote cement that is ongoing and when the Ewu flour mill industry eventually comes back working that town will definitely flourish. Stop acting like Edo state is the most backward in Nigeria, Only few State are doing better than her and its only forward ever after Osho. Edo is the 5th state with a top internally generated revenue and it will certainly get better soon. |

https://www.facebook.com/Honorable-Barr-Sergius-Oseasochie-Oguns-DCN-1463522773946520/ E&E NATURAL JUICE : ESAN FIRST HOME-MADE FRUIT JUICE IS SET TO RULE THE MARKET! E&E Natural Juice is a new fruit juice product produced and packaged in Ewohimi Town by Mr Ernest Oseghale. The product derives its name from the initials of the producer's first name "Ernest" and his wife's first name "Eunice". The ideas, knowledge /skills that gave birth to the production of the nascent juicy product were gleaned by the producer from the Hon Sergius Oseasochie Ogun-sponsored Five-Days Farmers' Empowerment Seminar which held from Monday 27th to Friday 31st July, 2015 at St Anthony Catholic Hall Uromi and St Benedict Catholic Hall Ubiaja where he and other participants were taught how to produce cassava bread, cassava cake, cassava buns, cassava chin-chin, cassava crisps, cocoyam crisps, cocoyam strips, cassava salad cream and fruit juice by resource persons from the National Root Crops Research Institute (NRCRI) Umudike, Abia State. Barely seven months down the line, the first fruit of the highly successful Empowerment Seminar is set to occupy the premium spot in the market. The E&E Natural Juice is a perfect combination of two fruits - pineapple and pawpaw carefully blended to retain all their natural nutrients and enriching flavour, devoid of addictives , sweeteners and sugar. With its rich taste and a pocket-friendly price of 70 naira per bottle, the juice is gradually but steadily becoming the first choice in social gatherings /ceremonies in Ewohimi Town and environs. The entrance of Mr Ernest Oseghale's E&E Natural Juice into the local market is a timely fulfillment of the lofty goals of the 2015 Farmers Empowerment Seminar which was sponsored by Hon. (Barr) Deacon Sergius Oseasochie Ogun, Member House of Representatives, Esan North East /South East Federal Constituency, Edo State. The Seminar was put together to teach farmers how to transform raw fruits, cassava and cocoyams to finished products. It was organized to equip farmers with the relevant skills needed to float and operate small scale plants /cottage factories where the above stated crops can be processed into finished products/recipes .It is true that Agbazilo is blessed with vast expanses of fertile Land and varieties of different crops. But the land and crops will not make any meaningful difference if all the farmers do is just to plant their seeds during planting season and consume as much as they can while the harvest lasts , leaving large proportions of their produce to waste and rot away due to lack of storage facilities and cottage factories to process them into durable products /recipes. A seamless combination of farming and agro-allied production is the way to go, if our local economy must grow with a sparkling glow. More cottage factories will invariably lead to more jobs, more economic boom and more money for the investors/entrepreneurs. When this happens, poverty, unemployment and despair shall be consigned and confined to the dustbin of history. It's heart-warming that Mr Ernest Oseghale, through his creative and innovative production of the highly nutritious E&E Natural Juice, has lent practical expressions to the training/skills he acquired from the week-long seminar. In the face of a failing economy, falling naira and dwindling oil fortunes, production and consumption of made-in-Nigeria goods is surely the way to go. E&E Natural Juice couldn't have come at a better time than now. However, it must be stated that it's not yet uhuru for the ambitious producer . A mini-factory complex equipped with the requisite production equipment and manpower are required to keep the production going. We urge all well-meaning individuals and corporate organizations to lend their support and patronage to E&E Natural Juice. On his part, Hon Sergius Oseasochie Ogun will do his best, within the limit of available resources, to ensure that the vision of the producer is kept alive.
