The existence of life has no purpose in the universe and the universe doesn't owe you any meaning. The purpose and meaning your life will have is the purpose and meaning you choose to give it. I believe whoever said "life is what you make of it" had great insight, either through harsh life experience or cheer wisdom, into the reality of human life. I hope you don't suppose that if no one believed in the bible, no one would and could possibly know that killing innocent people is bad. Personally, I believe human morality is objective even though at every point in time people, thanks to religion and culture, may not be entirely on the same page. It takes reasoning and empathy to successfully arrive at what's moral but people don't reason alike and some don't reason at all. There is a set of moral principles no case can be made against and these set of moral principles can be demonstrated to be indeed moral and best. The bible never condemned slavery and it supported the disdainful ownership of humans and the grotesque abuse of humans for thousands of years all in the name of slavery. It took human beings, without being informed by god or any holy, to reason that slavery was wrong and fight for the abolishment of slavery before they decided to put an end to it. If these men who abolished slavery could be moral in such way without being informed or inspired by god or the bible, how can one say that the bible is the only source of morality? How can one say that without the bible, we wouldn't know right from wrong? Mind you, the abolishment of slavery which aligns with the freedom of individuality is a core western value that, as I have shown, is the work of good men rather than the bible but yet people foolishly claim that judeo-christian faith is the foundation of western values and civilization. I am not surprised at such foolish and dishonest claim given that christianity and Yahweh offer nothing but take credit for everything. You would agree with me, whether you like it or not, that the equal treatment of male and female is a good and moral thing. That is another moral accomplishment that is opposite to what is condoned in the bible. Misogyny is part of christianity whereas, the equal treatment of both sexes was a moral idea developed by men without the help of god. How was such moral accomplishment and western value possible without god? As I heard Christopher Hitchens say, morality does not come from religion both from man. Human decency and morality preceeded religion. If you ask me how people can be moral without god, I would ask you how people can be immoral with god. |

I don't know why but I feel so sorry for him. My sister was also "healed" of fibrosis by Chris, I warned her and she didn't listen even when she's was in pains she kept on declaring, last month I caught her taking pain killers I just shook my head. Guess what? She is finally going to be operated on Tuesday.
I wish he can understand. I don't hate him. A lot are like that. I was once like that but fortunately, I never had any terrible illness that required me to applied such faith. Lucky me. |

Technology is a thing of trial and error and many new technologies fail even from established companies Let's assume that when she started, she had good intentions and thought she had everything figured out. On knowing that things didn't work out as planned, she should have opened up. Opening up was going to be hard given that she was going to lose her great tempting wealth and she couldn't stand the fact that her dropping out of school and dreams of being like Steve Jobs were all for nothing.
