This has always being the norm in nigeria when u make a thief and a looter the head of an organisation. He will give useless, selfish and greedy reasons for his actions. Thus making illegality and impunity legal and justified is a big slap on us. Just like fayose's account that efcc lift restriction from, only for Fayose to go to the bank the following day to withdraw 5million naira just to show off, from the said account that all evidences are against him with recorded testmonies. If fayose after his tenure, is being arrested and detained people will begin to shout rule of law against federal govt. Nigeria is a lawless state and that is why the elites are using every means to cover their stealing track. How can a governor become so wreckless in his actions just because of immunity. Fayose criticizes Pmb and plays dirty with fg but nobody dares criticize or oppose him in ekiti state my state. He silences opposition. There is no transparency in his goverment. What a shame?
Politics › Re: Boko Haram: What A Retired General Told Me About ‘defeat Claims’ – Fani-kayode by marv1:
If there was sabotage as claimed by u and ur hero, why didnt he use his power as the C in C to investigate and deal with the saboteus or are they more powerful than him? rather he left them unchecked until BH became a monster and even went outside borno state to attack UN building, yanya market and parks in abuja leaving several people dead and properties lost. GEJ is just too weak as a leader to lead the largest black nation that is full of diversities of ethinicity, religion, tribalism, sentimental interests at all levels etc. All over the world sarboteurs abound in every govt, and nigeria is not an exemption. It will only take the brave and the courageous to tackle saboteus in any system. GEJ is the luckiest politician till date in nigeria who rose from lecturer to become number 1 citizen within a space of 15 years uninterupted political promotions. He has been part of the system. He should know more about how to deal with saboteus. Sabotage is not an excuse at all for a good and effective leader. U only call urself what u want people to call u. If u call urself an infidel or a slave, it is ur choice. If a Phd holder does not know the real meaning of C in C and using lame excuses to save his face, then the situation is more pathetic than i thought.
general111:
In summary, gej was suppose to defeat BH,but due to sabotage from top generals in the Nigerian army, not wanting an infidel to be credited with the glory of defeating BH.
I don't know where this news is coming from, but it is believable, because many who actually fought bh complained of extreme sabotages.
This is Nigeria, where politicians play politics with the lives of Nigerians.

Stop saying that my dear. I used to have the same thought too when i left university close to 2 decades now. But i have learnt a lot in this life. There is nothing that is not dignifying in frying akara. Behind every great success there is always a story. No condition is permanent. What about phd holders driving trucks of Dangote only to be laid off after a yr. What is less dignifying than that. Akara frying is not stealing or robbery. If i happen to meet such a person i will make sure i buy akara from him eueryday because i want to be part of the guy's success story. Like i said b4 i have seen successful people rose from frying akara. There is dignity in labour. Like i said b4 also he is not ur size neither are u his size. That is the space he can occupy for today, he will grow with it in a space of time, he wont die there. No condition is permanent.
dam007:
marv1 i'm not criticising him.. He's got his life, I've got mine. What I'm saying however is that, being a university graduate, selling Masa should not even be considered an option, somethings are dignifying and some are not!

If u have a valid point u dont have to result to insult. If call frying akara a 'stress', then u dont have a point because there is no job that does not have its own stress. Anyway a man's meat is another man's poison. What somebody detests doing is a pleasure to someone else. That is why we have likes and dislikes. A have seen graduates frying akara and they are successful and happy with it. There is nothing new under heaven EXCEPT what u have not discovered. No point to argue or abuse somebody because of what u cannt do and someone else is doing it. That is his own size for now. By the way who tells u that he does not have stable income. This guy earns daily because people must eat daily. Go back and read the story very well and understand. He has other skills. That is why i said life is in phases and men are in sizes. This shouldn't be too hard to understand?
Kondomatic:
Will you keep quiet? A graduate is frying akara by the road side and you talking about skills. What skill? Yes i won't date him if I was a girl. He needs stable income not girlfriend and the extra stress that come with them.

Leave story for storyland. Life is in phases, men are in sizes. God has given us the brain to use and acquire wealth with it. People have fried akara and became successful in it. Let me give a simple sinerio i encounter last week. I was with my brother and he has been telling me about this 'suya akara'. I just ignored him as if he did know what he was saying. He said that if i taste it i will love it. Truely, when he brought it home eventually, i love it and was even asking for more. My brother also said that if u go late by 9pm to buy the 'suya akara' u wont get because people would have finished buying it. Now imagine how much the guy is making everyday and in a month. I believe more than 50% of nigerans are not earning what this guy is earning in a month. A lot of those abokis and igbos frying akara, yam, turkey, chicken and beef all together on lagos streets in the evenings are living very comfortable life and they have savings more than most white collar job earners in lagos. Infact about 6mths ago an ex-banker was telling me he wants to begin to establish frying joints, when he came across one of the people in frying business who happens to be a customer of the bank. He said he has done his feasibility study in some areas and so on, So my brother anything can take u to the top if u are good in it and committed.
dam007:
please... not to make fun of his hustle, but come to think of it, school teaches you a lot of things. not only to eat with your certificate, but really to live! There's dignity in labour indeed but is this really it? after years in the university?? first off, talk about your grade in the university... if it's really good, I know you won't just dump what you laboured for and sell akara on the the street which is by the way is another excessive labour. Now, it's not so good, you're not employable, what then is the distinction between you and the folks who didn't go to primary school let alone University. Not making fun of him though, I'm just saying, there are many things you can do as a graduate that isn't as demeaning sir, you manage to finish from the university with no financial support and all you are left with is your certificate. NYSC comes and for a year you earn 19800 each month, save 10k of that or even 5k of that every month of the service year and you have yourself a fair capital to own a poultry. and you have yourself something far far better than selling *akara*! that's what I call it! and that guys, is one of many many possible outcomes!

It's u I am dissapointed in. U must be joking for saying this i guess. Have u forgotten that Life is in phases and men are in sizes. I know if u were to be a lady u will never want to date him or as a friend u wouldn't want to associate with him. This guy could become another 'Mr Bigg's' in his own brand tomorow. That is when his going to school will be maximised. This is a guy who is going somewhere. He has got skills and he can think outside the box. I celebrate him. Not everybody has wealthy uncles or aunties that can loan out #500,000 like Dangote to start a business. This is what they call little begining. When Bill Gate started from his little begining, his two friends who did not believe in what he was doing then, are not up to 0.0001% of Bill Gate's worth today. Go and read auto-biographies of people that were born poor but became very successful in life. Go and read about Coscharies motors, the young shall grow motors etc. So please dont cast aspersion on people, or downgrade them because of what they are doing today because no one knows tomorow.

And this is the only thing he could think of doing after years in school? I am disappointed

U are 100% correct. If u know what this useless man did in ekiti state which made ekiti people voted a thug fayose as a governor. Fayemi wrecked havoc in ekiti state stealing billions of naira out of which he gave to buhari to campagn for presidential election. His wife is going to be one of aketi's commissioner or SSG to ondo state because fayemi also sponsored aketi's election. What a useless. If Pmb does not remove this man on time, then pmb's effort is doomed certainly.
OkoYibo:
This man was appointed more than a year ago and this is his only reported official assignment. He spent the entire time fighting Tinubu and his performance in the ministry is worse than mediocre. If you doubt me, google the name 'Fayemi'.

In 2016, the ministry under him made just 2 Billion Naira to the government coffers and this is far less than his ministry's budget for 2016. He is as useless as the P in Psychology and is more useless than an eunuch's manhood. He would be speaking twi twi english like an ATM machine but has nothing to show.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the most useless Minister in Buhari's Cabinet. John Kayode Fayemi, the Minister of Uselessness.

Pmb has limited powers to do much. He can not jail anybody. He doesnt have such powers. That is why he said that judiciary is his biggest headache. Recovery of loots is not as fast as people think. It takes a lot of time and processes. Nigeria has a lot of loopholes in our legal system and constitution and this is what looters have been capitalising on. But surely even with this slow drag nigeria will get there one day.
teamchocolate:
I supported buhari in his campaign against Jonathan.. but I am not impressed with his government at all.. they can do so much better... I am personally tired of hearing the words "summon" "investigate" when looters are mentioned . Buhari has done 2 years in govt... we should be hearing words like "jailed" " sent on life imprisonment without parole " " death sentence without appeal". and we should also start seeing the evidence that loot has been recovered and re-distributed to the masses via social welfare programs and quality infrastructure. I have started losing faith in buhari

U must be very, very ignorant. U must be one of those pepper sellers on the street for making this comment. Which economy did GeJ improve? Okay so because a bag of rice was not yet sold for 18k during Gej that is why the economy was bouyant, abi? U know next to nothing in this. If nigeria economy was actually bouyant How much did gej meet in the foreign reserve and how much did he leave there? How much did gej able to save? How much was a barrel of oil during gej and how much is it now? Was there any militant (NDA and the rest) vandalisation during Gej? Was there wastefulness during gej's 5 yr term? Was there corruption and massive looting during gej administration.? Tell me what we were producing in nigeria during Gej that made the economy to 'BOOM' that Pmb stopped its production thus turning the economy to woes suddenly during his tenure. If u can answer these questions correctly then we can discuss. If not your claim is as baseless as Gej's.
bart10:
You are missing the point. GEJ obviously had issues with leadership but he was smart enough to see how delicate the Nigerian economy was (perhaps due to his education) and he allowed experts to run the economy. But PMB took over a fairly stable economy and destroyed it in few months due to his ignorance, insensitivity, shallow knowledge and mostly his refusal to make use of the best brains to help him out. Now what do you call that?
