Check the Source of ur info? If nigeria's economy was truely $500B in 2015 why has it not sustained us in 2016 and beyond. Most of those figures were cooked. What was is it that nigeria was producing in 2015 that we are not producing again in 2016 apart from crude oil we dont even refine nigeria. NOTHING. We only had oil BOOM and not robust economy claimed by some nigerian economic margicians. No country all over the world sustains its economy only on oil, even in the well managed oil nations like venuzuela. Check what is obtainable there today. If In 1999 there were no ATMs in Naija and in 2015 ATMs and telephone are everywhere. Have you asked your ur former governors, senenators, politicians in successive govt questions about the billions they have stolen. What did they put in place? NOTHING. They have eaten all the CAKE and we cant have it again. Yet u are blaming military that came b4 1999. What about abacha loot that was repatriated? What did the politicians used the money for?

Was nigeria producing rice then that made a bag to be #8k? No. Neither is nigeria producing enough rice now. What govt did then was using oil money which was very high then to support importatn of goods in dollars. But now oil price per barrel has gone down and coupled with NDA attack on pipelines. That is makes the difference btween then and now. Nigeria never had a boyant economy we only had oil BOOM which we did not take advantage of. Recession doesnt jump down in a day.

Everybody has forgotten and moved on with Budget padding, Burutai Dubai Massion and so many corruption cases of the people in government been swept under the carpet. The worst of all is when it comes to opposition, you see APC loyalist shouting "our money" and some will even say it's the cause of this recession. But when it comes to people in power looting inspite of the present state of the nation, you will hear them saying they saved from there salary to arquire millions of dollar properties, some will say no evidence against them.

It is high time we condemn corruption irrespective of the party involve not using EFCC and DSS as a tool for revenge and oppression. The accuse is seeking for invite to clarify herself but instead she wasn't even invited but court is already acting on the matter. I have never seen where someone accused of stealing, robbery, murder, corruption been charged to court without been arrested or invited.

Which economy was sustained. Just becos there was oil boom does not mean nigeria had any stable economy. If yes what are those things nigeria was producing that gave the stable economy then that we are not producing now. NOTHING. We have not been producing anything to earn dollars, yet some people spend dollars as if it is our currency, so nigeria has never been best economy in africa.
