I've got a problem, my laptop doesn't work with my wifi... always coming up with 'limited'. But it perfectly connects with wifi in my work place. I've tried a few suggestions online but non worked. Any idea?

Alright thank you. Yea i know of Kingroot and ive tried it on some lower Android versions in the past and worked out fine. Not just sure its gonn work on 7.0 cos ive heard people saying it doesn't work on it. Imma give it a trial anyways and see how it goes.

Have you tried kingroot? If it can't then I advise you leave it cos it is the easiest and safest. Framaroot is also an alternative but I don't have much details in regards to its compability with os 7.0

Yes. But you can update to any recent version available before rooting. There's still a chance updating a once rooted device. You just have to flash it-total rom re-load. To remove everything about root. Then update.

Rooting will breach warranty, yes.

And you can't update a rooted phone without bricking it. You will get updates but if you try to update it, it will brick.

Try to use lucky patcher to remove the app from system app. Then leave and don't delete, see if it improves. If it doesn't, total flashing might be the only option you have.
When you mentioned 'hard reset' do you mean the normal phone wiping or the format done through recovery mode?

You can also try freezing the app with lucky patcher
