check all the phones that came with the chipset paired with 1gb RAM it's the same story. How can you give 64bit architecture 1gb to process the work smoothly for u. Infinix hot 2 and Tecno L5 will murder the Gionee m3mini in multitasking I still repeat.

multitasking on this phone is quite good as I can run Like 10 app at a go without having any lagging or freezing issue ...

but the phone seem to automatically shutdown some app when you open like 8 tap ...this is done to gaming app that you abandon to like 5min ,I think this is cause by the phone been a one gig ram phone...and to run games smoothly close other apps in background ...
the phone handle tasks quite well and the typing and scrolling through apps is smooth like knife through butter . .
still haven't gotten the phone to detect USB but it charges other phone and power controller ..plus I think my USB drive is broken..that all that I have detected so far and THE BATTERY IS EXTREMELY GOOD plus takes forever to charge

I was telling someone in Gionee thread that this l5 will multitask better than the Gionee m3 mini he didn't agree. The processor on m3 mini shouldn't be paired with 1gb RAM unless you are looking for disaster. We want more reviews though here

if you look at the specs compare with the other Chinese brand, you may think it's overpriced but that phone is so premium.

Tecno should roll out update on camon c5 too. It's a great phone. The camera murdered the 13mp on my innjoo fire plus. I think it's among the best 8mp shooter out there

I just landed this Tecno C5 and I must tell you the phone is a wow . Tecno is really breaking barriers
The camera is out of this world especially at night .Even my Cousin using IPhone 5s respect the phone too
But what I don't like about the phone is that am unable to play HD games on it . Games like FLCommando .Fifa .Real football and others will just pop up a message when opened like "Unfortunately Your app has stopped "
Please is this a general problem or should I return the phone ?

RAM size is clocked at 3GB while internal memory is 16GB, this is a sort of slack as I expected a 32GB internal memory on this flagship. Battery is also capped at a reasonable 3030mAh.

All these specs are looking good and impressive on paper, watch this space for a review of the device once it is available.

Pricing is yet to be decided so we will have to wait till 21st December 2015 when the device will be go on sale.

the demand for tecno phones as a result of low price is forcing Samsung to introduce mini range phones like J1,J7 e.t.c. remember when Nokia was topping the market then but now it's tecno. perhaps another phone will come to overshadow them since the only thing constant is change.

it's possible but I think companies are getting smarter this day unlike when Nokia was acting in ignorance thinking they are wise

YES my wife uses Tecno because it serves her well and she loves it pretty well. As a career woman, it helps her get her job done. Besides, she is a woman of inestimable value who will never allow pieces of metal called phone define her personality.

I am proud of you and your wife. Some form big boys and girls because they use IPhone this or that. I am privileged to have used lots of phones from different brands, believe me no matter how expensive they may be, the excitement will fade away the second day in your hand.

I will post some screen shot soon. The low light camera is great, in fact better than infinix hot note and innjoo fire plus in low light but the camera produces noise.

The flash is super amazing, photo comes out in full color during night shots

The battery can't be 10,000mAh with the slim design. The design copies those of a well known rugged phone. I don't think I like this design for any thing.

seriously i have the same problem. my dogs chew up everything. unfortunately I dont have the time to always take them on lengthy walks cos I am working and so is my wife too. moreover we have young kids we need to tend to when we return from work. The other day, I travelled for 3 days with my entire family and removed every chewable thing beyond their reach (i made arrangement for a neighbor to pass food to them under the gate) and left my other car, a nissan frontier truck parked in my compound. When I returned, the dogs have chewed up the electric wires under the truck. I think one of the wires they ate up powers the ABS system and the other wire supplies power to the rear number plate lighting. I felt so frustrated that I resorted to locking them up all day and night and only bringing them out to go and poo.
However, now i lock them up in the cage during the day and chain them to close to my gate in the night. that way they can alert me if anyone comes to the gate. My dogs are 9 month old rotts and I really want to free them to guard the entire compound but this chew chew is annoying.

Gionee M3 mini screen is actually TFT. I have compared it against IPS screen phone and the difference in colour production is obvious. If you doubt this, get tecno l5 and compare the two

Having you heard about quick charge technology in infinix hot note. Tell me the Snapdragon chipset that does more than this. I charge my infinix from 0-70% in just 30mins. Remember it has 4000mAh battery

I think the Op didn't even know that this exists already. Brand like infinix and Tecno are already using fast charge technology . Lemme also say this that Snapdragon consumes more power than MediaTek especially during the overheating issues

This is not whether it's Tecno or Infinix. Android lollipop needs atleast 2gb RAM to multitask easily while 512mb RAM on Kitkat even does better. I have compared like 5 phones nw with 1gb RAM Android lollipop, it's the same story

I already know this. Android lollipop is not as efficient as kit kat in terms of RAM management. 1gb RAM can't handle Lollipop ROM smoothly. Kitkat still remains the best OS on Android. I am still waiting for Marshmallow, maybe it will correct the poor RAM optimisation on Lollipop. If you compare any 1gb RAM phone using Kitkat, it will multitask better
