a friend of my bought this phone, and it can definitely last for 3 days without charging, we actually tested it, it has so many features as well, and it,s not 16,000, my friend bought his own for 20,000 at tecno shop in Lagos.. what we notice is DAT the phone is not with 3g+ and it dosen,t have notification light.

the S6 looks really good but the battery life is terrible.
hopefully better battery on the S7.

the S6 has a spectacular camera probably the best on a mobile device ( haven't yet tried Sony's Z5) so I expect nothing less on the S7.

i wish Samsung would tone down TouchWiz & gear it's look towards stock Android or cyanogenmod.

I expect more software based features. improved specs is becoming boring nowadays.

we want prompt software updates. S6 is yet to officially receive marshmallow. that's a big shame for a Samsung flagship device.

We saw the entrance of Xiaomi last year but it seems they are not ready to compete. I will like ZTE and Meizu to try their lucks because it's like Tecno and infinix are hard nuts to Crack

This year was a good year for Tecno. They were actively involved in different activities and they produced really amazing phones.

I will start with their flagship device of 2015 ; The Phantom 5.

Now, the BOOM J7. This phone was all over the place, I mean, it was the ultimate young people's phone. The tecno L5 is rugged phone. The chipset is also very fluid I tell you. The IPS used on the phone is so sharp. Great phone

sales rose 31% in the Middle East and Africa
region. That is close to triple the growth rate seen
in other regions. Still, it wasn't blue skies for all of
the manufacturers. Samsung saw its leading
market share in the region decline by 8.7
percentage points, or 17.5% to 41.1%. Huawei
was second with a 9.3% market share, a gain of
2.3pp from the same quarter last year.
Tecno, a smartphone manufacturer based in Africa,
saw its third quarter market share soar from last
year's 4.8% to 8.2% in Q3 2015, up 71%. TCL-
Alcatel was fourth with a 4.5% market share, down
from the 5.9% it had last year. Apple was fifth with
a 3.9% slice of the smartphone pie in the Middle
East and Africa. That is a 77% year-over-year gain
in market share.
More than half of the handsets purchased in the
region are smartphones, although less than one-
third support LTE connectivity. Apple currently
accounts for 10% of the market's sales of LTE-
connected smartphones. Some of the iPhone sales
in the Middle East are coming from consumers in
India, who find that purchasing the iPhone in Dubai
saves them on taxes and an exchange rate that is
not in their favor. Two new Apple Stores have just
opened in the UAE. Those stores have been
frequented by consumers from India, looking to
pick up the iPhone at a cheaper price.

Seems TECNO did pretty well in the third quarter. Even beat Apple. Welcome development.

I saw 12mp camera on infinix hot and I laughed when I compared its picture to an 8mp gionee p4 and 8mp lumia 822. That shows you what I think about Infinix, I can never trust ANY of their spec.

Tecno- as someone said, their update plan suck. They dont release update. I feel their spec is never complete; Just look at the camon C8 with 1gb ram! And when it is (Phantom Z), its costly. And ther phones doesnt feel premium.
Also both Tecno and Infinix are not recognized brand worldwide. You cant get a cyanogenmod rom for them(for instance). No active development.

I think Gionee is above these two cos
1)more global than them
2)spec you can trust
3)premium quality


I also want to recommend these chinese product(ulefone, umi, Xiaomi, elephone, le tv, etc) for quality mid-range phones. Just spend time on kulimart.

some of you just write for writing sake. Which infinix hot has 12mp camera that you compared with Gionee 8mp camera? . Of all of them, tecno remains the most durable. Gionee is more recognized than the three because their strength is in India but they aren't in the USA nor in Europe so I can say they are internationally recognized. Infinix is in France, Italy, the middle east and Africa but it's a younger brother of tecno, they ain't competing
