guy I believe your P9 is running on kit Kat, go to about phone and check. if is kit Kat then the same process of changing imei differs from others . you on course from ur screenshot. the only adjustment you will make is , let there be a space btw AT and +EGMR. That's is AT +EGMR as against AT+EGMR , that's the only adjustment. viola

i remember when i bought the new tecno m7 @29k, i didnt used it up to 2 month when it starts misbehaving after water entered inside it.
Nobody could repair it.
Then i port to Htc one.
This Htc one s is far far better in every specs of any tecno phone.
I discovered that most repaired phones in the market these days are the tecno phones.
God knws i'll never fall a victim of tecno products again, i rather buy a fairly used Htc or samsung android than to buy a new tecno phone.

guy while are you this childish. o ga ooo. Put those ur so called HTC phone inside water then. you said ur m7 fell inside water and nobody could repair it? including Carl care. I have used a lot of TECNO phones and I still have their pad mini bought in december performing so well . My brother HTC bought for 80k 2yrs ago developed memory problem sent it to repair center for 2 times yet the problem persist. now a phone that has 4gb onboard memory now have 12mb. is now useless if you open camera it says memory insufficient. put sim inside it, it formats by itself.if you're the one with this experience the whole world will not slp. while most repaired phones in the mkt are TECNO is because they are the highest selling phone in Nigeria. 5 in every ten Nigerians hold a Tecno phone whether as no 1 or second phone

Tecno has gained market in Nigeria & other countries due to its affordable products cost & exceptional functions/applications.

Recently, people that used tecno phone for just few months complain of its memory problem "memory full". No matter the size of external memory card installed or how free the internal memory tends to be, even if you root the tecno phone.

Which other cheap android phone can one go in for?

Op is like you are a baby when it comes to Android . Android phones are partitioned but while some people complain of memory full is that some Tecno phones only allow 1gb of apps space but not anymore. recent TECNO releases boast of at least 4gb of apps space. If you check TECNO f6 is having 15gb of apps space. Even Samsung doesn't give you that kind of memory allowance for apps. Tecno phones still sell more in Africa than innjoo, Infinix, gionee and other Chinese brands combined

Apple has been forced to withdraw an update for the iOS 8 operating system, after it appeared to cause more problems than it solved.

The tech giant had released the new version of its software to fix glitches reported by iPhone and iPad users.

But customers who installed the update have reportedly had difficulties making phone calls, and have been unable to use fingerprints to unlock their device.

According to the Sky News, many of these latest flaws only seem to affect the iPhone 6, with older models less vulnerable to the additional glitches from the software update.

An Apple spokeswoman said: “We have received reports of an issue with the iOS 8.0.1 update. We are actively investigating these reports and will provide information as quickly as we can. In the meantime, we have pulled back the iOS 8.0.1 update.”

But for many disgruntled users, news of the problem came too late, with many unable to use their devices as normal.

One affected customer, Rob, tried to alert his friends by tweeting: “Not happy with my phone not working as a phone now. DO NOT UPDATE TO iOS 8.01.”

Meanwhile, Aquib Hossain warned: “Do not upgrade to iOS 8.0.1! Touch ID stops working but worse yet, you can’t connect to your wireless service.”

The problems come amid warnings from experts that Apple’s OS X operating system has a security flaw which could be more serious than the notorious Heartbleed bug.

Media outlets across the globe had reported that several iPhone 6 owners had complained of handsets becoming misshapen after being carried in trousers pockets without a case.

According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, several of the US firm’s rivals have also helped publicise the claims.

Apple said nine customers had told it their iPhone 6 Plus phones had bent.

In a statement the company noted that the handsets’ shells had been constructed out of “anodised aluminium, which is tempered for extra strength” and also featured stainless steel and titanium parts to reinforce the areas of the phones likely to experience the most stress.

“We chose these high-quality materials and construction very carefully for their strength and durability,” it added.

“We also perform rigorous tests throughout the entire development cycle.”
