It's really unfortunate. How are the mighty fallen! How could he have known that this is how it will be at the twilight of his very colorful political career? We can deceive anyone, even everyone but there's just no way of deceiving the Almighty God. He laughs last always. It's not like He hasn't already warned us. But we always think we're smarter than Him. Since he refused to learn outside life, maybe he will learn inside life.

Sad. Fire outbreaks are most times considered to be accidental. It can also be intentional. I can understand why some people may think the fire is deliberate especially in these times. Nevertheless it's too early to point accusing fingers at anyone.
We should try to read things without prejudiced perception. Why add hatred to the burdens we are already carrying?

Russia with its allies cannot defeat US and its allies in an all out war jokes apart.

Since the time the Soviet Union fell apart, Russia has always been worried about a first strike from Washington due to mutual suspicion and this posture has been the central driving force in every decision the Kremlin takes.

The war will eventually happen. We just don't know when and if Russia won't be the first to go nuclear. Time will tell.

The difference between PDP and APC is now very clear to everyone unfortunate to find themselves within the iron cage called 'Nigeria'
The mistake was already made since 2015, now it's too late to stop APC and the gloomy days it has brought in its wake. Nigerians are in for it.

This same conclusion affects other sectors in Nigeria and not just Education. We have unqualified personnel running even government agencies and institutions. Begin a general overhaul starting with the government and not just fixing only one affected area otherwise it's back to square one.

Here is the simple difference: 1) In love- When you're in love with someone, you will also love this person

2) But on the other hand you can love someone without being in love with that person.

Giving, affection, closeness even honesty of course can be found in both but usually spring from quite different motives/intention

Christians especially and the world in general need to realize a fact: Adam was given two choices, obey and continue to have life(both physical and eternal life) or disobey and die(eternal death, opposite of life, state of non-existence, spiritual death, the real ). Adam disobeyed and chose death which he passed to his descendants and they too in turn passed it to their children and so on and so forth.

They were lost. They lived a short time physically and then died to await the spiritual death that the Bible says "is the wages of sin".
However God promised a savior that would come later and reverse the doomed fate of mankind. Now equipped with the knowledge of good and evil, Adam lived his remaining life hoping for that Messiah, making sure to pass on the promise to his sons before he died physically. And everyone one of his descendants who hoped in a future redemption lived accordingly and died while still hoping. Everyone of Adam's descendants who believed and lived in the hope of a future redemption strove to live godly lives and they were all resurrected the day Jesus rose from the grave. They escaped that real " death that is the wages of sin" spoken by the Bible.

Consequently, everyone of the remainder of Adam's descendants that choose to believe and live in the hope of the Messiah that has already come, died and resurrected will also escape that real "death that is the wages of sin" spoken by the Bible even though they died physically.

So whereas physical death(separation of our organic matter from our spiritual matter) is a normal occurrence and will happen to everyone except the last generation, spiritual death, the kind the Bible says is the "wages of sin" is reserved only for the wicked sinners.

So pls be advised. The death everyone will still die one day here on earth is quite different from that one that the Bible calls "the wages of sin is death". The death you refer to is really like sleep compared to the one that the Bible says is the " wages of sin".

The Lord be with you.

The account of the journey of Abraham into Canaan is filled with contradictions and outright impossibilities that makes it quite unbelievable. Take for example the king of Gerardo finding old Sarah still attractive despite the fact that the Bible already cast her as old and already way past menopause in an earlier verse. So a whole king of Gerar, a philistine land cannot find more beautiful and younger women for his pleasure? And what about Abraham? Was the Bible right in calling Isaac Abraham's only son? Also, should Abraham's unquestioning execution of God's command a sign of his loyalty or should we conclude that his seeming trust/faith was simply because he knew he would still have one son even after offering Isaac?

Hello fellow Nairalanders? My question for the day is somewhat controversial and has the potential of causing needless distress if not treated with openness and well grounded research. It is the matter of the sacrifice Abraham was ordered to make, using his son as the sacrificial animal. The Muslims believe Ishmael was the son that Abraham was commanded to offer. But both the Jews and Christians believe Isaac was the sacrificial lamb!

The answer to this question holds the secret to the true God that should be worshipped. It's either Ishmael or Isaac, either Jehovah or Allah, either the Bible or the Quran. One has got to be a lie for the other to be true.

Personally I doubt both accounts.
