Please can I get softcopy of ican study pack, the recently released one. Thanks sir

It's on their website, you can download it (https://icanig.org/pro-study-text-2021)

When would these results be out? I am not sure why ICAN is doing these honestly. It's annoying for a professional exam! no explanation, nothing. Meanwhile ACCA candidate know the exact date their results would be released, we have to come to nairaland for a circus meeting deliberating when our results would be out. Sheesshh!

Hi guys, thank you for the messages, I just went through the thread and found it so helpful. Anyway, I am at the interview stage of the graduate recruitment and although I put in for audit I would want to change to advisory now, please is it too late or can I still mention at the interview.
Also, if I can't change to advisory , I already have 2 years experience in audit from a medium firm can I possibly mention this during the interview and bargain for an associate 1 role insead of a graduate trainee.

Why advisory though?

First don't go there talking about advisory at this stage. Second you could move later if you so desire. If I were your interviewer and you start mentioning advisory not sure I would be interested in you or anything you have to say.For one I need someone decisive.

For the experience role, just focus on your interview for now. You could ask it as a question at the end of their interview and read their reaction. Good luck

Please how do one read with the syllabus or is it to jack all the study pack?
Please help me.

I always read all the chapters. It's interesting actually, most people's problem is that they wait till the exam is close and start reading. I read from the last day of the previous diet paper I can spend a week with a chapter or less than a week and I would have read a course cover to cover once and read it again finally. This works for me, some people do crash reading and pass. There is no one way you have to do what works for you.

Then again, a top source in NNPC Abuja gave us an information that they wanna release some kinda supplementary batch b list

With 850 names

Go and pray ooo

I’ve passed four papers now without attending classes. Just the ICAN study packs was enough for me. It’s possible

Same thing I wanted to say I scored over 93 in a course without lectures just the study packs, do what works for you. I know how tough the North can be sometimes better safe than sorry.

Wow. I wrote 6 courses. Actually. Maybe that's why. I am really scared of those three courses.

Don't be scared, the highest that can happen is that you fail (I don't pray that for you though). You will then have a better chance of doing well, I embrace my failures as weaknesses and work on it. You will be fine las las.

Hello, between ican and ACCA, which one is easier to pass for a non accounting graduate?

Also is it true that ican has to do with a lot of cramming while ACCA is more of application?

Please reply. Thanks.

What do you want out of it?

To me, your long term goals should be a deciding factor and you can have both through conversion. I don't believe anything is hard so I can't say?

If you are still in naija for the next 20 years Ican is okay...if you plan to work outside naija ACCA and CPA. ACCA is expensive plus after you qualify you have to pay membership fees above 100k yearly (except if your firm is paying for you).

It's not shocking, they also do it very well I Naija especially when the victim reaches a rip old age (like 120-150 years). I thought they have stopped, they sit the person down doing what he/she loves. Then all the villagers must pay their respect, I knw they did it for my grand father.

‎Felt I should share this (hate bin emotional makes me look weak)

* I know how those people who missed out feel right now. Honestly, I finished 2012 (was 19 at d tym) and I started job hunting 2014.

* I can't count how many coys I got regret frm, my course mate is an assistant branch manager in Access. Don't give up, everyone's journey is different.

There's no one way wit PwC, a girl in my group Jez participated n she got in, the one dat presented dint. The one tin I prayed for was that God shld give me interviewers that I can relate wit.

Honesty is another key factor, they askd if I maintained Relationship and I sed I dint cus at d tym I didn't have a fone (in my mind I bleeped up). Some of these interviewers have been wit d firm over 10yrs (at least mine had) and wld see rgt thru u.

Lk Ednut sed over desperation = regret. Wish u guys d best especially Gnen, Mcpat and Adenuga360.

Don't make that mistake, he died towards the end of the season 4.

I also think the major character isn't Ragnar, it's Ivar.
Ivar is the greatest Viking in history, more legendary than Ragnar, Björn, Übbe or Rollo.

Also the later seasons just get more interesting.

I hate dat Ivar guy, they should have killed the cripple at birth mstcheee
