ofalu047: Hi house My visa application has not been decided on since l did my biometrics on June 12. The date of entry l put on my application is 21st of August. Can a visa, which has been delayed, still be issued even after the date on your application for entry into UK has passed? Absolutely! They know that is only a tentative date and that that you would have mentioned if otherwise in your application. They are taking their time. Wish you the best! |

zibe: Oh I got a permanent role with the UK office of my current place of work hence I was required to apply for a work visa before resuming there. I guess one's employer has to be one of the licensed sponsors before the visa can be granted. I sha didn't do anything extra so I'm not sure how you can independently apply for jobs with recognised sponsors.
Good luck. Right, I see. Makes sense. Used to be an option to switch from T4 to 2 when I studied. Thanks. Enjoy working in the UK. |

zibe: Finally got my passport today with Tier 2 work visa issued.
Timeline: 2 August 2018 - Biometrics (paid for priority) 2 August 2018 - Passport transferred to UKVI 3 August 2018 - Got mail from UKVI confirming receipt and consideration by ECO 15 August 2018 - Passport collected
The above shows a 2week timeline (9 working days) instead of the 5 working days they said. In between the dates I've had to call UKVI twice and even visited TLS twice before finally getting it today. I'm not sure what's causing the current delay in returning visa as I met people with same delay issue. wahala dey o.
Off to book my flight. Goodluck everyone. Congrats on your visa! I know nothing about Tier 2 visas. Almost switched from a tier 4 visa 6 years ago but skipped because I moved to the US. Can you tell me a bit more please? Thanks |

Trump4ril: Thank you for your. response. I really appreciate.
I want to know where to make the payment.
Is it in a bank? Which bank.
I want to get this done soon. As far as I’m aware you pay through world pay on the application site. I don’t know if people still use the paper application and use banks. Apply online and pay when you hit submit |

Trump4ril: Hello gurus in the house, I greet all of you specially.
Please, I am new applicant for UK visa. My problem is that I am having issues with the payment, after filling the online form. I also want to know, at what point will I submit my documents? I also want to know the venue of the submission? Most of the documents are all ready now. Is the bank statement 3months or 6months?Is the appointment compulsory for all applicants?
I asked a friend that travelled to Uk last year, he saidhe has forgotten the process.
Thank you. Appointments are necessary for adults. 3 months works but a 6 month bank statement if showing a healthy inflow and outflow of cash is better in assessing your financial stand as an applicant. When you finally manage to pay for your application online, you’d be asked to choose an application centre - where you have your photograph and biometrics taken - that’s where your supporting documents and application with passport are taken. Good luck |

Winduke: Good day everyone. Please I recently applied using the visa4uk website and I realised that they said they were upgrading the site and you should use their new website, but I’ve already paid. Do you think it would be a problem for me? I realize that they didn’t even give me a checklist which they were supposed to have done. So I am not sure of the documents to bring as a non working student applying for a standard visitors visa, please can anybody help me out? Everything should be transported during an upgrade. But you can verify that everything is going as it should on the TLS Lagos website where you can track your application’s progress. The checklist shouldn’t matter really. Good luck |

Sure you can submit copies of the bank tellers and any documentation of late tax payment - highlight why it’s late and that you remedied it. Incase they read that part. |

Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by marylanderr: 9:47pm On Aug 13, 2018 |
mrcodebreaker: I am asking this question again as I have been having conflicting answers from different people.
I am using only my company account as the only account I’m presenting and I also stated in my intro letter I am being sponsored by my company which I own for this trip which I own. I am sole signatory to account I have ref letter and bank statements.
The questions are as follows
1) "What is the cost to you personally of your trip?"
2) "Is someone other than you paying for all or a part of your trip?” (YES/NO)
This is tricky. You cannot say you because it would mean the account and statements should personally be in your name.
Yet you have to somehow mention yourself as the sole signatory to the company account.
Why are you traveling? Emphasize on this and tie with why this trip should be covered under company’s funds.
Then for the answers, put 0 since it will cost nothing to you personally.
Is someone other that yourself paying for your trip - put your company name. For why - put why you are traveling in relation to what benefits your company’s growth.
Are you filling the form online - on the extra info sheet, this should be the first thing their eyes see - why your company funds is being used for your trip. Simple and short. No unnecessary info to muddle up things.
Are you going to add your bank statements to the application bundle? Make sure you label them properly and highlight so they don’t mix up. Maybe at the top of the company’s statements, write in capital letters - COMPANY ACCOUNT (supporting return trip)
Do not forget to mention how this trip will benefit your company on your return - this should serve as a tie back to Nigeria.
Wish you the best. |

Bourne007: You can certainly borrow from the bank but not to claim benefits from the govt. Why would anyone want to do anything that would remotely jeopardize their status and future applications? Why do the applicant need to borrow money from a bank? He’d need credit credit history for that. Besides all these things go into record and would be used a s pre requisite for a future application. You have 20 hours allowed for work, I always advise to stick to that religiously. |

Olugerm: Pls boss is it right to tell the eco that I'm getting the family who invite me to the UK a gift family photo frame 12pounds that they going to use that to remember me when I come back to Nigeria Do not jeopardize your application by giving unnecessary information. Now you mention family, is it a family member inviting you or a friend who is sponsoring your trip. Do not give too much information that will come back to bite you. Make your additional info sheet simple short and straight to the point. Do not add sentimental sentences. Is someone other than yourself paying for the trip? Explain why without saying too much. ........is sponsoring my trip as a gift to me, etc or whatever is not complicating. Say what you plan to do in the time of your visit (and use days instead of weeks - they don’t like to see weeks so if you are going for 2 weeks, say 12 days or 14 days instead)... do you plan to visit museums, the London eye, a football fan? The stadium maybe and then return back to your studies and part time job. |

funlad26: Good afternoon guys
I just submitted my application for UK 6month visa for my husband and I, mine is a renewal from a 2 years which I only used once, before the 2 years , I had 6 months and I used that one twice, but my husband once applied in 2013 and was denied based on the funds in his account, he transferred huge amount into his account weeks before the submission, We got married in May this year and our purpose for this trip is honeymoon
My question now is, I noticed everyone keep mentioning cover letter, please I want to know if we also need to do a cover letter for this application if yes what do we write there, date of submission is August 6, 2018
Gurus in the house , kindly advise
Thank you It’s more an extra information sheet - the last page on the visa application has a space for any information you think you need to provide to help support your application. But for most people thst spa e is not usually enough. So it s a continued extra info sheet on blank paper. Wish you the best |

Do not complicate issues - just submit your statement and only emphasize that you’d like them to see that you have a steady income and your friend has invited you and is offering to cover the entire costs as a give. Do not over explain the 93 k- just say - see my statement showing a steady inflow/outflow of my part time income. Good luck |

And I was told I suppose to put 0. What is the solution I've print out the application thanks If your friend is paying for all of your trip and your are paying nothing, then there is zero cost to you in which case you put 0. Make sure you emphasize with your friends name saying she is sponsoring your entire trip as a gift. Still show your bank statements but note you are showing that you are working part time |

Olugerm: Hello bosses jutwise, Marylander, etpokek and others plz I need your help have submitted my application online and my white female friend is paying for all my expenses, in the place that asked what the amount you personally have for this trip I put the amount I have in bank 93k pls help me what can I do Is the 93k all you have in your account? Or is that what you plan to use toward your trip? If that is all in your account, the ECO would easily wonder why anyone would want to use all the money in their account for a visit. Is your friend inviting saying to pay for your tickets, if so she would have to show pay slips and bank statements showing good standing and that she can take care of the trip. But still show your own bank statements if this is the case. More importantly, know how to create a reasonable balance especially with finances and your ties back in Nigeria. |

Olugerm: Thank you so much God bless... Have already filled the form print out the application but the area you said I should put 0 in how much does the trip cost to me I put a certain amount there hope that will not implicate me. I put 93k as what I have in bank..she sent invitation already, payslip, hotel reservation doc, but no sponsoring financial letter I will asked her to do that for me today Have you already submitted the form? If you put a certain amount there, then it means you are paying for part of the trip which you should clarify on the extra info page. Otherwise if she is fully sponsoring the trip as a gift, then you need to put 0. Good luck |

Plz what are the documents I'm going to take along with ME [Abeg I need your help jutwise eptokek and other bosses Get an invitation letter from your friend, also a financial sponsorship letter explaining why she is sponsoring your trip. Is it a gift from her to you? Let her mention it there. From your side, get a general letter from your school identifying you as a currently registered student (do not have the letter addressed to the embassy. Let it be a general TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN) Also get a employment status letter and possibly a leave letter which would be best to correspond with holiday from school (you don’t want to say you are going when in session and seem you have no ties to you edu) Lastly, submit pay slips, bank statements even though your friend is sponsoring the trip. If your pay is not much (point out that you only work part time to start gaining experience so they see the prospect) focus on being a student and how much this means to you. Explain your ties - do you have an aged mother or do you help manage your parents’ small business. Explain family ties. When filling the form. Write 0 on the part that says what is the cost to you personally on this trip (or something like that) Good luck. Hope all of this helps. I don’t check Naira land often. So the gurus can follow up from here. |

Submitted support letter, bank statements from the UK, then land properties, employment letter and bank statements from parent’s side in Nigeria. How long did your parents’ application take? nomad26: @PefHouse, I don't think your dad needs to write a sponsorship letter. In your case, your mum is the sole sponsor of their trip so I suggest she writes a cover letter and both of them sign this letter. This is what I did for my parents visa application - one cover letter written by my mum and signed by her and her husband (although I was the sponsor in their own case). Can you advise on how this worked out for you? If a British citizen is trying to invite her parent and is sponsoring the parent’s trip (as a gift) is it accepted? Thanks |

DWJOBScom: The streets of most cities in US are littered with the poor and most shelters can't hold it anymore. It's not easy with naija but it will pass True but the US govt and people collectively work to get people off the streets but the same people retreat back because they prefer it on the streets - they are given houses, and things to get them started but sell off these things to buy drugs. At least the govt and people are making an offer time and time again. |

Now, in this video he's telling Churches not to open branches in places like Dubai and China simply because our government, not Churches, beg those Countries for money. Yes, some Pastors may be false, but does that mean everyone of them is?
Freeze is clearly an Antichrist who is trying to prevent Christians from carrying out the assignment given to them by Jesus Christ.
Mark 16:15
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Well how about they go to war torn countries or where Christianity is being subdued. Where they really need Christ, and not where there is only the potential to gain financial prosperity. |

From: Matthew 25
Giving to orphanages, less privileged, a cause for humanity once a year/while doesn't cut it - make it a monthly habit. People in other countries thrive because they sign up to help less privileged, cancer research, etc every month - this is giving to God. Money doesn't have to be given to a pastor to be given to God.
33] And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
[34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
[35] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
[36] Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
[37] Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
[38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
[39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
[40] And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
[41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
[42] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
[43] I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
[44] Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
[45] Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. |
