There are portions in Igbokuta that are free from acquisition. I charted a portion for a Client near a public school in igbokuta that has excision gazette.

There are other gazetted portions in gberigbe & igbokuta , though very small proportion of the entire locality.

i have an iphone 3 32gb with iOS 4.1. the last time i tried to upgrade to newer version of OS. the phone was locked.
i gave it to an engineer to unlock,the guy collected money,he even showed my the evidence that he has unlocked it online and payment has been made to tha effect,yet the phone did not work.

i retunred to the guy from whom i bought at second hand,the guy came back with the phone working,even with some apps.

acquired land or Land within government acquisition means that possession and title of the land rest with the govt having jurisdiction over the property as stated by Land use act 1979.

acqusition could be for agric purpose, committed or global as we call it in lagos.

Committed is "no go area" as govt has specific / committed present / future plan over the property and anyone that builds on such property jokes with his/her money.

Agric acquired land is meant for agric.purpose only as this will be stated on "consent to survey or land information" if you follow due process during acquisition and survey planning.You have the priviledge to ratify this for residential use the ministry upon meeting certain conditions

Global acquisition : government controls the land but subject to ratification by paying certain amount of money depending on the location.

Excised Land : free from govt acquisition but such excision may be revocked if the govt deem it if but compensation shall be paid if the occupier possess the right papers.

How is the situation (acquisition) in Igbogbo, Imota, Lucky Fibre,Laspotech area etc?

No one can say specifically the status of a particular town (any town may be partly committed,subject to ratification and partly excised.) unless a portion on which you intend to acquire is charted on state land use map.

However, one can generalise , from previous experience, that this is the status of this area.

For instance :

Imota is mostly of agric acquisition.

Maya onwards is within agric acquisition.I am not sure of where to categorise lucky fibre because i have not charted any portion there from

A portion along igbogbo/baiyeku is committed acquisition.

So,confirming status of a property is subject to charting that particular portion on the land use map.

i couldnt understand why the names,Seals and addresses of those License surveyors whose plans you attached were displyed.
POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE: both are professional ethical issues as the profession prohibits advertisemnt in any open form and the negative aspect could lead to prosecution.

A portion of land is said to be excised if such has been legally released,through a govt gazette,to the indigenous settlers.
Dont 4get that Land use act of 1979 stipulates that every portion of land belongs to the govt and that is why it is mandatory to register usage with the appropriate level of govt.
Excision simply means free from govt acquisition thus C of O could be easily processed on such property.
Opposite of excision (in this context) is acquisition.
Acquisition could be highly committed : (no go area)
Agric acqusition : For agric purpose subject to govt approval.
Acquisition subject to governor's consent : ratification.
Other forms depending on govt plans from time to time.

BE CAREFUL MOST PORTION OF ETIOSA & IBEJU LEKKI AXIS IS UNDER COMMITTED ACQUSITION UNLESS SPECIFICALLY EXCISED THRU A LASG GAZETTE because NOF ECONOMIC VIABILITY OF THE AREA.

Get a surveyor to get coordinate of the portion for proper analysis & findings before buying any land.
