When you date an African that was born and raised overseas, you will understand. She breaks up with you for some strange fellow liking your post on IG. Then, you will know that our locally bred Nigerian “good “ girls are better. Or is it Oyinbo. That one falls out of love when she wakes up from her sleep. Mehn, even the once that are married to our African brothers. We know how this our brothers struggle to keep the marriage. It is not something I can do. I don’t have the strength to struggle just to be keeping marriage for 40years plus or less even.

I have told her to let me be for now. But some friends say I am not married to her I shouldn’t be concerned.
But, I don’t think so. I suspected as she is into marketing of insurance policies. But I was like at least she is doing something. But that job exposes her to men and you know men. Before anything, they Will want to do something. It is what it is. But I don’t have any evidence before now. Hence, I did all those introduction things.

She actually did, I saw the loan email and I saw the alert in her bank statement. I was shocked same guy credited her as well. That’s my worry.

I have a gf who resides in Lagos while I live overseas. I have seen her parents and done somethings. Planning to do a tourist visa for her as I have payed for documents to be gathered. She called me one day, to complain that a dealer who she bought a car from is delaying in delivering the car to her. I was aware of how she got money for this car(loan as she works). Then she gave me the contact of the dealer and I
Spoke to him. The dealer narrated his side of the story that my gf was to balance her 700k to
Pick up the car. To cut the story short, the dealer agreed to sell the car and refund her money as that’s what she wants.
The dealer said” you seem to be the only reasonable person in this girls life”. I was shocked and I had to ask him how many people have contacted him regarding
this. He said I am the third person. The question is could the 3 of us be dating her? One is a Major in the army, she got some military guys on the Major’s instruction to impound the car. The other guy is a married guy who I got his contact and did a background check on. I discovered that this same guy has sent 100k to her 3months back. And now same guy is helping her to get her car or money back. Investing time and money in a girl, for free?
I have confronted my gf and she claims they are friends. Please, are there still
Nice people in Lagos that invest time and money without wanting anything in return in this part of the world?
I even called this guy through a proxy(girl) and he was like” wrong number pls”. After mentioning my gf’s name that my gf’s phone was switched off and dunno her whereabouts. He was smart in answering as I perceived he was picking his words and didn’t admit anything or refute anything. Well, the dealer confirmed the guy drove my gf there severally and spent the whole day in his shop just for the car. Are there people who invest this same time in lagos and money as well(though one payment from the statement of account) available to me, without wanting anything in return? The military guy as well, who gets military guys in the country for jobs like this without anything in return?

Please, guys pardon and forget the moniker. It is Just to anonymous.
I am dating a lady and I don’t live in the country. I actually want to marry this lady. I understand that distance relationship is not easy. I just have a feeling that her boss might be sleeping with her because it’s common in workplaces. I have called her one day and I heard her boss speak to me. Well, I was like that’s fine. The other day, I called on a Sunday afternoon and she said she is with her boss, I didn’t ask location but she said to me later that it was regarding the email she sent her boss that she wants to change department, she wants to move away from sales which says is too hard for her.
And has to go see him in person.The boss spoke to me over the phone again and thanked me for making her a better person. Said to me again, “I will officially hand her over to you”. I don’t know what all these means so I was just friendly over the phone

To cut the story short, she just told me last week she has put in her resignation letter. I asked why, she said , her boss and management of her company are just interested in them doing sales to bring money to the organization but not interested in anything that concerning their welfare.
Well, I am just curious and I can’t find anything Or evidence in this whole thing. I need an advice, I want to get the boss’s number, and call and confront him, maybe his response will give an insight on what kind of relationship she has with my girl. Maybe I should just keep quiet since she has left the company. I am just not certain on anything. Mature advices please, no jokes.

I actually missed several once. I missed one in her room in my student days. She even had to come spend weekend with me in my home some years back but I couldn’t do anything because when I tried, she said No and I gave up, I didn’t ask again . I missed another one that came to to visit for an 2 hours unknown to me she had the intention of sleeping over. I didn’t know this as my quick rush to do it then sent a wrong signal and she changed her mind, went home same day.

This whole thing depends on your location and what your priority is.
On location, if one is earning 130k in Aba, Ibadan, Sapele, ughelli etc or one can reside in one of these places and many more like these places,one should be pretty cool.

Regarding priority, it depends on your age and other factors. If one is approaching 37 as a guy, marriage becomes a priority to some people. However, if you are far way less, then, it shouldn’t be an issue for now and it is wiser you get another source of income to support this because, this salary is actually small considering the cost of living in the country.
