Ye shall know the truth. Please for those of you who always develop passion for calling GEJ names please kindly know that it was not easy for GEJ. GEJ was the only 'complete civilian' that ever ruled Nigeria, from a minority, even in his state he is also from a minority. He has more experience in governance than any president we ever had (having served in state and federal level for years). He is the most educated president ever. He gave Nigeria his very best. No fuel queue, prompt payment of salary, created lots of jobs from the federal universities, sure p, youwin, Gis, converted our COE to federal, light was not this skeptic, travelled less, freedom of speech, no political murder or arrest etc. GEJ is an angel. Every leader has its lapses. Buhari though has good intention for Nigeria, he also has his own challenges. Let's support them |

The Police in Bayelsa State on Thursday wrote the state Governor, Mr Seriake Dickson, warning of the security consequences of the refusal of the State House of Assembly to swear in three opposition members-elect. The command noted that the action or inaction of the Peoples Democratic Party-led Assembly to inaugurate the three members even after they were given Certificates of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission could lead to a possible breach of state security. The letter with reference number, AB:0900/BYS/Vol.4/43 and signed by the Commissioner of Police, Peter Ogunyanwo, warned of the consequences of the ongoing crisis, noting that a protest by the aggrieved members-elect might lead to a breakdown of law and order. The letter, made available to journalists in Yenagoa on Thursday, said the warning was as a result of the request by the three aggrieved Assembly members-elect and their constituents to the police. http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/04/14/assembly-crisis-police-warn-of-security-breach/

Alhaji Abdulmumin Jibrin, the Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, has described as mis-information and fabrication, the reports that the National Assembly removed the Lagos- Calabar Railway line project from the 2016 budget presented by President Muhammadu Buhari. According to Hon. Jibrin who cleared the air on the controversy, challenged the presidency to tell Nigerians where the project was included in the budget. Section One Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has refuted reports that the National Assembly removed the Lagos-Calabar Railway line project from the 2016 budget presented by President Muhammadu Buhari. Hon. Jibrin who cleared the air on the controversy, challenged the presidency to tell Nigerians where the project was included in the budget. Section Two The Kano-born politician took to his verified Twitter handle, @AbdulAbmJ. “I actually find it shocking that even some National Dailies made the removal their headlines. A little research would would have helped”. “Lagos-Calabar Railway line was NEVER captured in the budget that was sent by the Executive. How then could it have been removed by NASS?” “All they, and those spreading the false information needed to have done is check the initial document sent by the Executive”. “Lagos-Calabar Rail was never included. How could NASS have removed what was not there? But the nation is being misled”. Section Three “The NASS has always been on the receiving end of bad press. This is being capitalised on in the conversations on #Budget2016” “This is unfortunate as it is quite clear to all and sundry that #Budget2016 and all its headaches and controversies didn’t emanate from NASS,” he posted on the micro- blogging site. Section Four His position was confirmed by civic tech organisation,BudgiT Nigeria, that there was no provision for the Lagos-Calabar rail in the 2016Budget submitted by the president. Recalled that there were reports that President Muhammadu Buhari is set to return the 2016 Budget to the National Assembly to rework because what the lawmakers sent to him on Section Five Thursday for assent, according to Presidency sources, fell below his expectations. The presidency sources said that the President felt disappointed that provisions for major national projects and programmes that could turn around the economy were either outrightly removed or funds for them ridiculously slashed by the lawmakers. Among the key projects removed from the budget by the lawmakers are the all-important Calabar- Lagos coastal rail line for which Buhari had made a provision of N60 billion in the 2016 estimates.

FOR COUPLES AND THOSE ABOUT TO GET MARRIED FOR OUR MEN: Carry your wife to the bed when she sleeps off in the sitting room, make her feel like a baby at times. The truth is, every woman wants to be treated like a 2yrs old girl at times, that's why women behave childish or silly at times. You may have an argument with your wife and the next thing is that you will see her putting her bags outside the house, it doesn't mean she is asking for a divorce, she is just being childish, she simply wants you to hold her, look her in the eyes and say "I am sorry for the argument". That's women for you. Every brother needs to study in the university of women before getting married, read books about them, learn what the Bible says about them and you will hardly have a problem with them. Though there may still be some challenges, because you're both from different background and your imperfections are bound to stand. So, read books about marriage, an ideal home, child upbringing, importance of marriage and the likes. Don't just jump into marriage with an empty head about matrimony, you will have problems. How many men can tolerate their wives nagging let alone shouting? It's said that, you should be quiet when your spouse is angry, when one person is fire, the other person should be water. Brothers, when your wife steps on your feet intentionally or mistakenly, don't let your eyes turn red, just smile at her, if she did it intentionally, she is just playing with you, if she did it mistakenly, its not her fault. So why shout at her over every small mistake? As a man learn to ignore some things, don't be petty. Some men are feminist; Do "hide and seek" with your wife, sing poems for your wife in the garden or inside the house, even if she is teasing you. Assist her in the house chores, pound yam, fetch water, don't make her look like your maid. Bathe together, wake her up for prayers, swim with her if it's available, cook together, teach her how to cook if she doesn't know how to cook. Cooking is not the ticket to Paradise. It's not only a feminine duty. Use blind folds to cover her eyes and tickle her, scare her at times, call her from work/ school, text her, write "I love you" in a small note and put it under her pillow or in her purse or in her bathroom or in her cosmetics box or inside her cupboard. Kiss her always, cuddle her, pamper her and play with her hair. Always tell her, she's beautiful and that you're happy to have her as your partner. All these are part of being romantic...When a woman tells you that you are not romantic. It means you are not doing all these things, its not the romance in the bedroom she is talking about. That's why, you brothers have to study "women's language" it's a 10 year course. FOR LADIES: It is part of your duty to be romantic too. Your shyness shouldn't get to your marital life and that doesn't mean you should be shy to express your love to your husband. Send sweet text messages to your husband at work, sometimes even if you are in the room discussing with your husband, still be chatting with him on social media (Facebook, Whatsapp, Viber, Imo, bbm etc) even though he is right in front of you, it's fun and romantic! Discuss how lovely he is on your facebook timeline, this will trip him a lot. You should be chatting with your husband, not other men on social media networks. Buy flowers for him. When eating, give him the biggest meat. At times, bake cake for him to surprise him. Ladies, use your soft voice to sing for him, be creative, a poem like (twinkle, twinkle lovely spouse, how I wonder what you are, up above my world so high, like a diamond in my heart). Sing poems for him, no shyness is allowed. Don't just be welcoming your husband with an angry face because there is no money in the house, God is our provider. Don't welcome your husband with your body smelling maggi, don't only play with your husband when he receives his salary. Welcome him with a warm hug always, and when he is going to work, pray to God to keep him safe and for him to be successful. Support him, advise him, wipe his tears, be grateful to him, it's not easy to be a man, when you see his faith waxing cold, encourage him, don't threaten him that you will seek for divorce, don't compare him with other men, buy him gifts, wash his clothes, sing for him, praise him in a way that he wouldn't think of an alternative, be the best cook, wash his car if u have the time, dress him up, pamper him when he is sick. Wake him with a peck and don't complain about his snoring habit. Let kiss be the messenger between you. Read books on intimacy, don't learn it from what you see in movies.. Most of what you see there are not real. Call your husband pet names. Though you can also call him by his name even if he is 30yrs older than you, as far as he is comfortable with it. Remember that, God said, men are the protectors and maintainers of women. So respect him and honour him even if he is younger than you. Marriage isn't a bed of roses but a bed of sacrifice. It's said that, there is nothing better for two people who love each other than marriage. To fall in love is a disease and its cure is to marry the person one is in love with. Love is when you take away the feeling, the passion and the romance and you find out you still care for that person. Finally, married men, divide your nights into 3: one for yourself (sleeping), one for your wife and one for your Allah ... That's the best night one can ever have. LOVE MAKING IS ONLY FOR MARRIED PEOPLE. IF U CAN'T HOLD BACK, PLZ GET MARRIED. I WISH YOU LOVE. BY MASTERBLOGGER

The Service said Mr Usman, whom it prefers to refer to as Al-Barnawi, was a founding member of the Jama’at Ahl as- Sunnah lid Da’wah Wa’l- Jihad (Boko Haram) and later the Amir of the break-away faction, Jama’at Ansarul Muslimim Fi Biladi Sudan (JAMBS). A statement by the spokesman for the DSS, Tony Opuiyo, said “Khalid Al- Barnawi is a trained terrorist commander, who has been coordinating terrorist activities in Nigeria, while talent-spotting and recruiting vulnerable young and able Nigerians for terrorist training by Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) in North African States and the Middle-East”. The service said he was involved in many terrorist attacks in States of the Federation, including Bauchi, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Sokoto and FCT-Abuja that resulted in the killing and maiming of innocent citizens of Nigeria. “Al-Barnawi is also responsible for the bombing of the United Nations building in Abuja, on 26th August, 2011; the kidnapping of two European civil engineers in Kebbi State in May, 2011, and their subsequent murder in Sokoto State; the kidnap of a German engineer, Edgar Raupach in January, 2012, the kidnap and murder of seven expatriate staff of Setraco Construction Company at Jama’are, in Bauchi State in February, 2013, the attack of Nigerian troops at Okene in Kogi State, while on transit to Abuja for an official assignment,” the DSS claimed in the statement. It said the suspect would be charged after investigation, describing the arrest as a major milestone in the counter-terrorism fight of this Service. The DSS reassured Nigerians that the Service in collaboration with other sister security agencies, would bring perpetrators of crime and their sponsors to justice. In another development, the Service said it uncovered the heinous role played by suspected members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), in the abduction of five Hausa-Fulani residents, namely Mohammed Gainako, Ibrahim Mohammed, Idris Yakubu, and Isa Mohammed Rago at Isuikwuato Local Government Area in Abia State. According to the DSS, the abducted men were later discovered at the Umuanyi forest, Abia State, where they were suspected to have been killed by their abductors and buried in shallow graves, amidst 50 other shallow graves of unidentified persons. It said arrest and investigation conducted so far, revealed that some suspected members of IPOB, carried out the action. It claimed that IPOB was steadily embarking on gruesome actions in a bid to ignite ethnic terrorism and mistrust amongst non-indigenes in the South-East region and other parts of Nigeria. It warned that it would act decisively within its statutory mandate to ensure that the sponsors and perpetrators of the action were apprehended and prosecuted. Considering the level of investigations conducted on the Goodluck Jonathan administration, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) may arrest the former president before May, 29, 2016, when the current administration would have clocked one year in office, a top official of the agency has said. The EFCC top shot, who spoke with The AUTHORITY at the weekend, disclosed that the arrest, two weeks ago, of the Managing Director of Kakatar Engineering and Construction Company Limited, Mr. Azibaola Robert, whom the official described as “closest kinsman of former president Jonathan so far,” was a clear indication that “we are inching close to making former President Jonathan our guest.” The official dismissed as reckless recent comments by another former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, dismissing the anti-graft agency as a “toothless bulldog.” The EFCC chief predicted that “unfolding events in the next few weeks will actually confirm whether the EFCC has indeed become a toothless bulldog.” Said the official, “We arrested Mr. Azibaola Robert on March 23, 2016 when he came to honour our invitation. We also arrested his wife, but she has since been granted bail. The following day, we arrested Dakoru Atukpa, Executive Director of his company. As we speak, both men are in our custody and are helping with vital information needed to nail the former president.” According to the official, Robert and Atukpa were arrested in connection with what he described as “ongoing investigations” into a $40 million oil pipeline security contract, which emanated from the Ministry of Petroluem, but was paid for by the office of the equally detained former National Security Adviser (NSA), Retired Col. Sambo Dasuki. The EFCC official said the commission was working on a lead that One-Plus Nigeria Limited, Kakatar’s sister company which secured the oil pipeline security contract, may have been a front of former President Goodluck Jonathan. He said, “Even though One-Plus appeared to have successfully executed the contract, we are interested in details of how the company executed the job, including those who got paid from the $40 million sum. “Even though we are still investigating, there is sufficient suspicion that both men used One-Plus as front of the former President. The Managing Director of One-Plus has constantly maintained that the company was incorporated well before Jonathan became Vice President, and that it wasn’t a crime to come from Otuoke,” offered the official. The EFCC official said the commission was unsettled by former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s recent description of the agency as a toothless bulldog, and was committed to taking on persons considered sacred cows just to prove Obasanjo wrong.
