Gentlemen,

Reno Omokri is in deeper legal troubles.

You’ll recall that few days ago, we had exposed some prima facie criminal activities perpetrated by Reno, while he served as SA to president Goodluck Jonathan.

To wit:

That Reno criminally received salaries above his status as SA to mr president.

That Reno’s appointment letter has posted by him disclosed that he was engaged as SA.

Whereas, Reno kept dubiously obtaining and actually received salaries as SSA to the president.

Recall also, that soon as we petitioned the law enforcement agencies to investigate Reno’s criminal offenses, Reno quickly put out some defense on social media.

In Reno’s defense, he criminally claimed that the salaries of SA & SSA to the president are all the same, that in fact the ranks and status does not affect their salaries.

We had the right information all the while, but needed to get official response from the appropriate authorities in charge federal salaries in Nigeria.

Ladies and gentlemen,

We proceeded to do the proper thing by applying to National Salaries Incomes And Wages Commission.

And the Commission’s prompt response and content thereof is quite revealing.

It clearly indicates that there’re different remuneration and salaries for SAs and SSAs to the president.

We’ve always heard that there lots of criminals within the corridors of power, and how people fortify documents before the commission to claim unmerited higher wages.

But we never expected those level of open criminality from motivational self-righteous Reno.

I’ve heard how some dubious aides exploit our analogy system in the ministry,
fortify their appointment grades and bulldoze their way with subtle threats of presidency, present false employment documents, and criminally obtain higher salaries.

On Reno, we still have plenty plenty work to do, to ascertain how he achieved his own.

Lots of stinking revelations.

We’ve already done half of the job of the security agencies.

Now is the time for the EFCC, ICPC and, or Police to do the needful.

Extradite Reno to face his criminal trial now!

Terrorists stormed the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, during a vigil programme at the Bayan Kasuwa quarters of Kasuwan Magani Town, Kaduna State, the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) confirmed on Monday.
The union noted that the terrorists kidnapped over 40 worshippers including residents of the area, according to a statement by its National President, Awemi Maisamari, made available to journalists in Kaduna, the state capital on Monday.

Maisamari in the statement said that the terrorists reached out to families of the victims and were demanded N200million ransom before the abductees could be set free.
SOKAPU explained that victims were abducted on September 12 and 13 of this month at Kasuwan Magani area of Kajuru LGA, which is some few kilometres away from the state capital.
Maisamari said, “There is still no breathing space for communities in Southern Kaduna. Terrorists, jihadists, bandits and armed herdsmen have continued to plunder and wreck communities in the southern part of the state.

“The latest are the mass abductions that took place on September 12 andn13, 2022, at Kasuwan Magani in Kajuru LGA of Southern Kaduna. Kasuwan Magani is about 20km south of Kaduna metropolis on the Kaduna-Kafanchan Express road and hosts the biggest weekly market in Kaduna State.

“On the first day, September 12, six people were abducted in a night raid by the terrorists at Ungwan Fada part of the town.
“With no measures put in place to forestall recurrence, the following day, September 13, the terrorists stormed the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, during a night vigil
programme at the Bayan Kasuwa quarters of Kasuwan Magani Town, at around midnight.
“They succeeded in carting away more than sixty people from the church and neighboring houses.
However, they were not able to take all of them away because some were very little children, too aged or had health challenges.
“While retreating with their captors to their camps, they attacked Janwuriya village, a few kilometres from Kasuwan Magani, and abducted two more persons. As of now, 45 people have so far been confirmed abducted.

“Yesterday, however, September 18, 2022, the abductors made contact with some people in the town via phone calls and claimed that only 40 persons were held by them.

“They demanded a ransom of N200million, but negotiation is still ongoing. We do not know the identity or the fate of the five missing persons yet.”

Against the narratives that cowhide otherwise known as Ponmo contains no nutritional benefit, a dietitan, Mrs Oluwakemi Olanrewaju, has said it provides the body with important nutrients.


In an interview with our correspondent, Olanrewaju said although Ponmo had low nutritional value when compared to other protein sources, it contained beneficial nutrients and contributes adequately to peoples’ diets.

She said, “Over the years, people have debated about the nutritional value of Ponmo . Growing up, we were.told that it doesn’t contain any nutrient and it is just considered as skin but after so.many scientific studies, Ponmo actually contains beneficial nutrients which provide the body with important nutrients.

“A 100g of boiled, thick cow skin contains about>224.65kcal of energy, 6.80g of carbohydrate,>about 43.9g of water, 46.9g of protein, 1.09g of fat, and 0.02g of fibre. For micronutrients, it contains small amounts of calcium (61mg), iron (4.3mg), magnesium (12mg), phosphorus (36mg) and Zinc (6.79mg).

“Although Ponmo has low nutritional value when compared to other protein sources because it doesn’t contain all essential amino acids, it contains a lot of collagen which is the most abundant protein in our bodies. Because our bodies produce collagen, it is not essential that we must eat collagen for growth. However, as we grow older, our ability to produce collagen reduces leading us to have wrinkles.”

The authorities of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) have said that whereas the Corporation barely earns up to N1.7m per day, it uses about 24,000 litres of diesel daily for the Lagos- Ibadan route, amounting to about N4 million.

NRC said that it spends 135.3 percent higher than what it earns from the sale of tickets to passengers daily on fuelling the trains that operate on the Lagos-Ibadan Train Service.
Sunday Punch reports that the NRC said it had to reduce the trips on its Warri-Itakpe and Lagos-Ibadan train services by half due to the hike in diesel price, as well as the negative impact on railway services caused by the March 28 terrorists at on the Abuja-Kaduna train.

The NRC Managing Director, Fidet Okhiria, told the newspaper in Abuja that though passengers were gradually returning, the March 28 Abuja-Kaduna attack did not only crumble the Abuja-Kaduna route, but made travellers to desert railways across the country.

The MD was quoted as saying, “The Abuja-Kaduna train bombing on March 28 has seriously affected us.

The Abuja-Kaduna service was doing marvelously well. At a time, we were hitting N450m monthly and by the time you remove all operational costs you’ll still have something to pay to the government.
“But now, we can hardly buy diesel to operate. In fact, the major headache now is the price of diesel.

For instance, on average, we use about 24,000 litres daily for the Lagos-Ibadan service and we barely earn up to N1.7m per day.

“Now the supply cost for a litre of diesel is close to N1,000. At the filling stations, you get it for about N700 to N800, but if you have a supplier, he will have to put his profit margin, VAT and others, and this brings the cost to about N1,000 per litre. So, we are talking about spending almost N4m on diesel alone, when we barely make N1.7m. But we still have to provide the services on that.route.”

On how the NRC was sourcing funds to sustain its operations, Okhiria said, “In the 2022 budget, the.government provided about N500m for diesel, which barely lasts up to a month for rail services across the country.

“We also search for funds from other sources, such as property rents and others. So, we use it to augment what we earn from the train services. See, it has been a serious headache, I won’t lie to you. It has been stressful and the NRC is owing for diesel, but we cannot stop.”

On the March 28 Abuja-Kaduna train attack, the MD said, “Before, passengers had the confidence that train ride was the safest, but when that incident happened, it was a big blow to the rail industry. It is now that people are trying to build back their confidence. So, the volume of passengers has reduced.

“And, unfortunately, the war in Ukraine and other variables have made petroleum products’ prices to skyrocket astronomically. And being a service provider for the benefit of Nigeria, we cannot just wake up and increase fares. For even when you increase fares, you may price yourself out of competition.”

Okhiria further noted that in order to reduce losses, the corporation had to check its operations to maximise what it had without causing pain to passengers.
He said, “So, we had to reduce the number of trips by half on both Lagos-Ibadan and Itakpe-Warri train services and that is what we are still doing. This is because the revenue we earn cannot pay for the amount we spend on diesel presently.”

“We are just trying to get support from other sources to be able to pay just for diesel, not to talk of payments for cleaning, security, among others. All those are also pending issues that will take a lot of money to maintain them.

“The Lagos-Ibadan trips were up to six in the past and by now we should be talking about 10 trips, if not for the problems. But now, we operate four trips on that service. On the.Warri-Itakpe service, we are doing just two trips as against the four trips that we were doing before,” the NRC.boss added.
