Thank God a day like this has come, when a deputy governor of a successfull and well managed state boldly told a presidential candidate to go back to his state to campaign, because, charity they always say start from home, is God not wonderful?

This is not only applicable to the so-called presidential candidate but to all who parades themselves as leaders of South-East (indigbo

What was their achievements and leadership scorecard like? In security, human capacity development , infrastructure, education just to mention a few.

Now, the big question is, if their leadership scorecard is excellent or average by score, then "how come about Biafra agitations and the Rise of Their son Nnamdi kanu?

Am not against any South East presidential candidacy, but at least you have to show where you are coming from, I hope the so-called Igbo leaders should know what is before them and how prepared they should be.

On why Tinubu did not show up at thensigning of the peace accord last week, Morka said the APC standard bearer had a prior engagement outside the country which could not have been shelved..He said; “It is not because he was ill. That was not the reason he was not there. My point is that Asiwaju was absent from the peace accord not because of ill health, but because he had a prior, scheduled engagement to be held elsewhere and he was already out. And as you can see for the last couple of days we are getting a feel of what is going on with him. He is fine and I am sure he will be back in the country very soon”.

APC also expressed optimism that the Rivers state chapter of the party would be adequately carried along in the affairs of the presidential campaign council. The state chapter had alleged that none of its nominees was included in the council. “I believe they sent the names directly to the council but with you also understand.that the council is still working on the list of its members. They haven’t released the comprehensive list. By the time that is done, you may find out that those who think they were excluded were not actually excluded”, he stated.

Former Vice President and All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, yesterday, in Enugu, warned Nigerians, that a vote for Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2015 general elections, was a vote for continuation of insurgency, kidnapping, oil bunkering, corruption and unemployment, among others.


The former Vice President insisted that the PDP had nothing to offer Nigerians, but howcase propaganda, blaming insurgency, kidnapping, and lack of jobs.

Addressing Enugu State delegates, ahead of APC national convention, Atiku said PDP-led government was very good at practicing government of propaganda,
lamenting that since he grew up, he had never seen Nigeria governed the way it was being governed today with no sense of direction and purpose.

He said: “The PDP government is only good in propaganda. They build railways only on television. There is insecurity everywhere. There is unemployment.
Most of the problems in this country, insurgency, kidnapping, oil bunkering is done by youths because they don’t have jobs. Once they have jobs, they will not engage in such. None of them boasts of this experience.

I have contributed to democracy more than all of them. Even when the situation favoured me personally, I rejected it for the benefit of the entire country. Records are there for everybody to see. I have prepared myself.
I have experience and I want to serve. If you go to APC states, you see what the Governors are doing. If you go to Rivers, Nasarawa, Lagos, Sokoto, you will see
what the Governors are doing. You can see it.”

He said he decided to join the presidential race to make a change, and save the country from destructioin, arguing that APC, as reformers, would change in Nigeria for the better.

Atiku added that he was the most suitable among the four aspirants vying for the APC presidential ticket, having had the longest political experience, occupied the highest political office in a democracy and worked in every part of the country.

Speaking on behalf of the Enugu delegates, a member of APC Board of Trustees, BOT, Brigadier General Joseph Okoloagu, (retd), said he was convinced that Atiku Ababukar had the capacity to deliver the country, if given the chance.

Re-opening Deji's closed murder case.... An enquiry into unsolved murder cases involving Nigerian political class:


Recall that Deji was arrested on December 13, 2018, over allegations he was involved in a murder in Kano in 2005.

Mr Adeyanju Deji was charged with murder in 2005 at the Kano State High Court, but was discharged in 2009 after a lengthy trial.
The police, sensing political influence in the trial of the murder case, filed murder charges against Mr Adeyanju using the same material that had been dismissed by the court in 2009.
Mr Adeyanju spent 78 days on remand at Kano Central Prison between the day of his arrest until March 1, 2019 when he was released on bail.
From 2018 to 2019, I believed that Deji should have been left alone by the Buhari government. But recently, I began to ask myself if Buhari's government knew something about that murder case which average Nigerians know nothing about.

In the coming weeks, we will reopen an independent investigation into the murder case and how Deji successfully manipulated politics to regain freedom after days behind bars.
Who was the alleged murder victim? How was Deji linked to the murder? Was Deji falsely accused? If yes, when will he sue those who wrongly accused him? Are murder cases in Nigeria influenced by politics? Do politicians get away with murder in Nigeria?

This is going to be revealing. We are also going to be fair. Campaign season gives us an opportunity to scrutinize the character of those who seek to influence our political choices - this is important because most times, those seeking to manipulate who you vote are doing so for selfish reasons - understanding where such people are coming from could help the naive voter to know why a political influencer could be fighting certain candidates.
