smileyoo:This is the exact reason traditional banks don't lend money to random individuals. Many Nigerians have terrible credit score. Loan repayment culture is non-existent. Most people treat loans as gifts the moment they access them. |
WORWOR1963:Some people borrow with no intention to repay the loan. How will a business survive if such reckless behaviours persist and are rampant? It's someone's investment for goodness sake. Make una dey use conscience. |
abuhusna1:I don't know when Seun started allowing people post Tiktok lies on his forum. It's very unfortunate. I did see it on tiktok some days ago, and I knew it was pure fabricated gibberish. ![]() |
An unverified TikTok, trust-me-bro story should not be published as legitimate news on Nairaland, Mr Seun. |
The juju wey them do for am don finally run leave am for center of market. The audacity!! ![]() |
DeepSight:I quit the class. ![]() |
DeepSight:I too was taken aback by the almost believable explanation. ![]() |
HeroicMeastro:This is one thing I respect Muslims for. They are not shy to support their religion with state resources. But dumb, docile, lousy Christians would have been all over social media running mad if this was coming from a Christian governor in support of the churches in his state. Christians in politics and leadership have a lot to learn from Muslims of similar status. |
ridwintin89:Ha! Young people emigrating to go trade the best part of their lives doing slave jobs abroad needs to be studied all over again. Someone who has 20 million Naira, who should be a boss in Nigeria, chooses instead to become an everlasting servant in a foreign land. What a shame! To think that the person has a PhD saddens me even more. |
All these thoughtless policies will be reversed, mark my word. |
papagiddy:Omo!!!!! Barren at old age! This statement is strong!!! Damn! It's unthinkable. ![]() |
casualobserver:The SC under the directive of the president, you mean? You mention the SC repeatedly as though it was one noble institution acting independently. |
casualobserver:You are very wrong. Tinubu came to Wike's rescue. Fubara was effectively implementing Obaseki's template that crippled Oshiomhole's influence in Edo state. Obaseki did succeed because Buhari stayed aloof in the battle. In this case however, Tinubu stepped in considering the votes Wike 'won' him in Rivers state. Left alone to battle it out, Wike was drowning faster than imagined. If I were to judge objectively, Wike had every right to fight to retain Rivers state political structure. Fubara was a nobody. He would not be governor without Wike. Who voted him? Every vote cast was to extend Wike's dynasty in Rivers. The fact is that Tinubu's abracadabra intervention saved Wike. |
hoygift:What's exciting about visiting a public library full of obsolete books and irrelevant resources? I used to visit libraries growing up. But I stopped after finding out that most public libraries were useless anytime one needed research materials. |
payloader:Whether the woman was nice or not, take care of your children. They are your responsibility! Period! |
Mrdecent:The last part is my pain. How such a bright man would walk his way back politically looks as bleak as ever. ![]() |
Isn't the UN no longer the doting guardian of terrorists? Let them have a taste of what the IDF warns them about daily. These evil terrorists will come for you no matter your humanitarian gestures to them. Them nor send ya papa. Evil brings you no good no matter how kind you are to the evil. ![]() |
kunlegboye:A very poor comparison. Pen and paper do not possess the intelligence and ability to help you write a suicide note or suggest ideas to you. Get it! ![]() |
Slytiger:This is what most Nigerians don’t understand about distribution business. Majority of these trucks are so branded by third-party distributors and marketers of Dangote products. It means they are not directly owned and managed by Dangote Group. Unfortunately anywhere people see trucks bearing the brand, they conclude it belongs to Dangote Group. That someone goes about supplying Pepsi products using a Pepsi-branded truck should not fool you to believe that the truck and sometimes even the products emanate from the makers of Pepsi. Nigeria’s business field stinks with irregularities. |
Atiku cannot manage a party. How is he going to govern the nation? ![]() |
Most of Tinubu's destructive economic policies will be reversed eventually. Wait and watch. |
EyeCumInPeace:What a powerful motivation! ![]() |
Lukelayne:When these same Palestinians took to the street celebrating October 7 wildly like a pauper who just won a lottery, they didn't know they were singing their funeral songs. Anytime Israel watches those wild celebrations cheering October 7, the urge to wipe out Gaza increases. Nothing is stopping it now! |
Another lunatic on the loose. ![]() |
mecuries:The real question. It means they also raid shops for money. It's very shameful. Only GOD knows how many drugstores, warehouses and pharmacies have been victims of this official robbery. I am pretty sure the theft was captured on CCTV, the reason they couldn't deny it. Damn! |
ARISHEM:I think they now have the worst management since their inception. The way their staff attended to me at one of their branches made me to drastically scale down my financial dealings with GTB. They were nonchalant, rude and stupid. Funnily enough this is one bank I really loved especially when they introduced banking hall fasttrack services for customers. I really enjoyed that service then. But just see how everything is being cancelled out by series of unprofessional conducts. Meanwhile, I once jokingly told someone that I would buy the bank someday for the love of it. If this ever happened, in quick phases, I am going to fire over 80 percent of the staff members. Rogues and idiots must not be allowed to destroy a once innovative financial institution like GTB. ![]() |
They definitely were served a proper notice. But they thought it was the usual threat and no-action. Nigerians generally don't honour notices. Until they see law enforcement agents bearing arms and bulldozers vibrating everywhere, then they realize that it isn't a bluff. ![]() |
PlasmaTV:Those folks are the most wicked people on earth. They want to force their lifestyle on everyone, every organization, every event and even innocent kids. If you don't support them, they label you intolerant. But they themselves will never tolerate those who do not wish to identify with their depraved beliefs. A very devilish set of people. ![]() |
Warmaterial:Release the remaining hostages bro!!!!!!! The onslaught retains legitimacy and justification so long as hostages are in Hamas and Palestinian captivity. Until then, Gaza doesn't exist. Israel values her citizens! Your country may not. ![]() Ceasefire will never be signed on Hamas' terms. All hostages, living and dead, must be released before Israel lays down arms. Una go cry tire. Israel is the antidote to Islamic fundamentalism. Where is Iran now? Where is Hezbollah? Price and pay, that's Israel's slogan. It works! ![]() Any terrorist group thinking about another October 7 against will have a great lesson to learn from this. ![]() |
Ebuka78:Your stance is why society degenerates and is soon irreparable. 'Crime rate will go up', that's what we hear whenever moral laws are about to be enforced. But what we cannot deny that moral laws stabilize and preserve the conscience and ethics of a nation. China with its huge population manages to retain sanity only because of its firm moral codes. India has a staggering population. Financial ruins, resulting from this same betting, will in fact worsen the crime rate you are advocating against. Every turn you make in Nigeria presently leads you unintentionally to a bet shop, kiosk or stand. You think it's okay? No ill wish intended, but when it touches home you will have a different opinion. Many parents and wives wish the government shut down these financial sinkholes littering every nook and cranny. |
brain54:Hilarious belief! Running a private football academy or club in Nigeria is one quick way to run into poverty. You run it hoping that one day luck will find you. Bro, I have a firsthand experience of how private football academies and clubs operate in Nigeria. Over 99% keep it open out of passion. Profit ke? ![]() Rufai sank all he earned in that unprofitable venture. Please when talking about football academy, don't let European and even South African models deceive you to think that's how it functions properly here in Nigeria. In a broken system, every part suffers...a case study of Nigeria. ![]() |
