For me I can never give my money to these pastors in the name of tithe.
I just pity my parents that have been brainwashed by these men of God.
The way they preach this tithe, like its compulsory. Of all jesus, paul, peter, james, john etc teachings in the Bible they didn't tell us to pay tithe, even they never paid tithe. If jesus or paul didn't pay tithe, who am I to pay tithe?

Nothing fails like prayer. Prayer is just as much talking to yourself. It's a waste of time.
There's no proof that prayer works; rather experience, knowledge, hardwork, discipline, persistence and a little bit of luck can take us anywhere we want to go.
Personally since I stopped praying, I have always felt better, it lowered my high expectations on an inconsistent God, and helped me to believe in myself, appreciate my efforts and to take full responsibility for my actions.
