Nice work at least for his age, but you should help him develop his talent by exposing him to professional artist especially during holidays. He would develop faster that way than trying stuff on his own. I can see his shading skill is cool but his proportions isn't. Getting ur proportions right is one vital key in art.

Even though I'm a born again Christian, events like this makes me ashamed to be associated with Christianity and sometimes I'm tempted to join Islam. Majority of the bastards we call pastors are wolfs in sheep clothing. Christianity habours so many madness. No Islamic cleric has been caught in this sexual mess because they are guided accordingly by the tenets of Islam. Is it a coincidence that 3 pastors have been disgraced in few months and many more to come? Honestly I'm not impress , some really good road side panel beaters would do better than this in terms of external structure and finishes, the only thing commendable here is "electric"

Ahh....the love for literature died? You are lucky. I love music and literature just like you used to. I became addicted to books and songs from young age. Well, I do believe we have artistes who are ''clean'', if you know what I mean? They may be very few tho. If you can recall the likes of Ras Kimono, etc, or West life, Backstreet boys, those guys did clean music. However it's better to dump your passions if you feel you may not be able to handle it the way God wants. You can go into gospel anyways.

No oh, I didn't say d love for literature died, its the love for "unedifying literature" that died. I'm a chorister in church. I come to realise, everything that God gives a man as a gift or talent could either be use to glorify God or the devil. Since God is the giver, it's only reasonable to glorify Him with what He gives

Thanx for this great piece. You said the holy spirit told you to stop certain things, eg listening to some kinds of songs. I want to ask, what happens in a situation where the holy spirit does not warn a born again about listening to such songs? Does it mean the person is committing sin by listening to them?

Holy Spirit warned me against watching some movies, fornication, etc, but has not warned me about music. I still listen to these kinds of songs, they sound good, and kill boredom, so? Am I still in bondage?

I can relate with u on this, when I first surrendered my life to Christ it was alot more easier for me to give up sexual immorality than music with explicit n immoral content.

As a lover of poetry n music I grew up listening to hardcore rap music, it was a time when hip hop music was very popular with hardcore rappers (mid 90s to early 2000s), I wanted to become a rap artist n I was really good @ it but I noticed that the content n everything about it wasn't edifying my spirit.

God delivered me, He gave me grace, imagine I had to destroy all the Nas collection I had; from Illmatic to Stillmatic (about 12-14 albums), till date d love n hunger for unedifying literature died.

They aren't. It's an illision created by camera angle and light source, in few cases the light source is artificial and intended.

Hello. Thanks for the tip (sometimes I over look something that I ought to notice and need an external perspective)... Anyway, I would later edit and upload a clear picture. How long did you do your daily sketch? I have attempted many times but never passed a week.

I think I did for about three weeks, it's a shame cos the sketch book is about 80 pages, I wanted to cover all the pages. I think I may just pick a new one and start all over, maybe?
