Health / Healthy Waste Management System by MathiasT(m): 9:37am On Dec 11, 2021
The benefits of toilet digester can not be over emphasized. Are you aware that poor sewerage management can lead to the spread of deadly diseases like cholera? Cholera out-break have the tendency to claim the lives of many. In Nigeria, cholera have claimed the lives of many more than Covid-19. It is true that cholera is a water borne disease that is spread through the consumption of contaminated water or surfaces.

Conventional septic tanks in many ways, spread cholera to us. For example, the waste in the septic tanks can contaminate our drinking water especially during water hence, any consumption of such water risks the chances of being infected by cholera. Also, septic tanks are the best breeding places for cockroaches and house flies. These insects can from the septic tanks, perch on our food, water, clean surfaces and so on and in turn, contaminate them and any contact with the mouth, can lead to the deadly disease known as cholera. With the use of eco-friendly bio toilet digester, you are safe from the risk of cholera.

How Do Toilet Digesters Work?
A bio digester usually has three anaerobic chambers that treat human waste effectively without the need for any cleaning or emptying of the tank. After the toilet is flushed waste is directly deposited in the first chamber where solid material settles to the bottom of the tank where anaerobic bacteria cultures set to work breaking the waste down. Once the chamber is full, liquids flow into the second chamber and the process is the same, except the waste contains less solid matter.

By the time the waste reaches the third chamber and is ready to exit any harmful pathogens have been removed from the water. The chamber itself is a filter, when you flush your water closet (WC), the digester filters the toilet waste water through grades of sand, fibre net and porous concrete, allowing non-toxic clean and odorless water to drain out to your garden, soak away or gutter.

It simply means only the waste will go to the small box, and only water will leave the box to a soak away, drainage or trench. There is a chemical called bio-enzyme and a treated fiber that will be added to this system and their work is just to invite friendly bacterias into the box, which depends on the waste (excrete) to survive, the more you use the system the more they continue feeding and surviving on the waste, and it will never get filled up.

The process also creates gasses that are released from the tank without causing environmental damage. Since bio digester systems require an anaerobic tank to operate (anaerobic=no oxygen) the entire process is completely free from any nasty smells too.

Through the process of anaerobic digestion, toilet digesters do not produce any harmful, smelly or foul smell. Septic tanks are constructed some meters away from living areas because of the smelly, irritating and harmful odor it produces especially when it nears or gets filled up. Toilet digesters on the other hand, can be installed close to your window because it doesn’t produce and bad odor. This is possible with the digester because of the absence of oxygen in the digester. The digester only produces gas which if produced in a larger quantity, can be used for cooking or for the generation of electricity.

A toilet digester is clean, free of pests like rats due to the absence of oxygen which these pests need for respiration. The digester is not dug deep in the ground like the septic toilet there by removing the fear of any possible contamination of water when using the toilet digester.

There are different sizes and preferences of a toilet digester for different customers and location. Business set-up blueprint Vol 2

The seven pillars of a successful business

For you to get people to buy from you, you need to be known, liked and trusted. And you must follow this step; know, like and trust.

The 7 pillars of a profitable business

The seven pillars of business or the seven Ps of business are the foundation to every business success.

In one way or the other, we make use of these pillars in carrying out business but when they are not properly done or any one is left out, it will result to loss. What then are they 7 pillars of business?

P1
Problem
Every business must be designed to solve a problem. You cannot be successful in a business if you are not solving people's problems. Yesterday I said when people buy from you, they buy solution to their problems.

According to Grace Kalu, "people will not pay you to get them to heaven but they will pay you to get them out of hell". Look out for the need in the market and solve the problem.

P2
People
People are the reason you are in business. They are the reason you are out to solve a problem.

No matter what business you are into, you need people to patronize you even if you are a veterinarian you need people to bring their pets to you. You need to know exactly who you are selling your solution to.

The mistake so many people do is the sell to everyone. It is true that customers are everywhere but everyone is not your customer. Score your audience to be sure they are the right fit for your solution.

P3
Positioning
Your story and experience matters as your customers want to know who you are, what you do, how you do it, who you do it for and why you do it?

People don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it... People don't buy what you sell, they buy why you sell. Tell your customers why they should go for your good, service or brand.

P4
Platform
If you don't have a platform, you cannot be seen, heard and known which means people will not like you nor trust it and as such, you won't be paid.

Your platform is where you are going to build your influence, impact and income. This is where to build your identity, improve your visibility and prove your credibility. This can be social media platforms.

If you are too shy to post about what you do, you will not be known but post about yourself in the right way that people will connect with you.

P5
Promotion
This has to do with how you share your value, brand message to the world. This has to do with your brand name, styles, content that you put out.
You need to put out content that engages and drives sells. Invest in yourself and learn copywriting.

P6
Product
This has to do with products, services, offers that your audience can pay for . Create or sell valuable product needed by your audience. Create a product from the problem you have identified and sell to the right audience; determine how you will launch, price and sell it

P7
Process
How do you do what you do? This has to do with the process involved in identifying a problem, creating a solution, acquiring your target audience, turning your audience into prospect, turning your prospects into customers.

One is not your customer until he pays for your product or service. Even when you give a free trial to someone, that doesn't make him your customer.

In a nutshell, the 7 pillars of a profitable business has to do with identifying a problem that affects people, positioning yourself well and be seen on platforms with the use of right promotions as having the perfect product to solve that problem through a carefully planned process.

There are different trends that can help boost your business in 2021 if properly utilised. I will be taking us on these trends in my next post.
Business / Re: Pls,your Advise And Opinion Is Needed In Here. by MathiasT(m): 10:17am On May 15, 2021
Misyarn:
Good day N'landers.
Unfortunately,i was sacked where i was working with someone grilling BBQ,tired of working for people i decided to start my own BBQ business.
searched for a suitable location or a good bar to begin with and didn't get one.

A friend advised me to start with outing jobs(i.e making BBQ at events) and it has been difficult getting event jobs.

Pls, i need advise and opinions on how i can start to get event jobs easily as man needs to get something doing to keep body and soul together..
Again,If anyone owns a bar or knws one without the person grilling BBQ innit i would be glad to take up the offer ..

You can also visit event centers and talk to the person in charge about it. It's called leveraging. So he or she can connect you to someone who books to use their center and need the your service in exchange for a commission.

You can also discuss with those who run rental services like canopy, chairs etc. This is one way I am sure you can get clients organically.

While 'inorganically', you can run Facebook and Instagram ads and target those who have events coming up and who live in the big 3 places in Lagos. I am sure that an ad budget of #10,000 can get you good results when done by a professional though.

I just hope my opinion is helpful.

Business set-up blueprint Vol 1

I welcome you all to the day one of our business setup blueprint training.

At the end of today's post, you will have a better understanding of why you should go into business or what businesses are meant for.

I know you have heard that a job is not as sustainable as a business and you are actually considering starting a business or you have started a business already. Here is a secret no one is telling you " the life of an entrepreneur sucks ".

In a job you are sure of what will come to you at the end of the month. It might be delayed, small; but it will surely come that same amount.

If you are working, there are specific working hours in most cases 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5am but in a business, you can work up to 12am even on Sundays.

When you ask some persons why they are into business or why they want to start a business, some of the reasons they give are ridiculously flimsy. You will hear all manner of reasons like;
They don't want a boss or they want to be their own boss listen, if you don't want a boss, you should consider becoming the president of Nigeria. Your investors, board of directors or trustees are your bosses

They do not want to work long hours so you are not aware that entrepreneurs do not have resting time? If you work for lesser hours, you will make lesser returns

They want more money this is the reason while some businesses that started well fail. If your focus is on the money, when it comes, you will spend all and your business will die eventually. As an entrepreneur, you pay yourself little but enough for essential needs

They just discovered a new business opportunity come closer let me tell you something. A business idea is more important than a business opportunity. Here is why. A business idea is primary when making it a reality, you get presented with opportunities

Everybody is doing it please if this is your reason, just close your business and go and get a job.

The main reason of going into business, should be to help solve people's problems.

People pay the money for the problems solved. Here is an advice for you "don't create a product or business and then look for customers... Rather look for what people want and then create a business around it".

Someone once said " if you cannot identify a problem to solve, create a problem and sell the solution". When people buy from you, they do so not because they like your nose or like the way you talk, or how you dress, they buy from you to solve a problem.

When you buy paracetamol, you are not just buying medicine, you are buying the solution to your headache or body pain. When you buy food to eat, you are buying the solution to your problem which is hunger.

To make more money in business, you need to solve the most pressing problem or a global problem. When you solve a global problem, you will be paid larger than when you solve local problems.

Selling shoes, bags, perfume oil etc looks saturated. This doesn't mean that people are not making money from it or you won't make money in that market but "when you operate in a saturated market, you will put in more effort to make money" than when you operate in a non saturated market.

Every profitable business operate on 7 pillars templates. We shall be looking at the seven 7 pillars of a profitable business in our next post.

Enjoy your pizza.

NYSC / Is A Certificate So Important? by MathiasT(m): 12:23pm On May 10, 2021
I have so much wanted to share this with you and I hope you will spare me just 2 minutes ( or more ) of your time to read through every line.

Times have changed and priorities for things have also changed. I was discussing with a friend of mine who works as a human resource officer in a recruitment firm in Lagos on the key things they consider will interviewing an applicant and in his words, he said;

" In today's business world, companies and businesses of different set up are more interested in your skills than in the certificate you are carrying ".

He didn't say your certificate is useless ooo. He only said priorities are on your skills that is what is it that you can offer and not what did you study.

A certificate proves that you attended school, a training or a course, sat for an exam and passed it doesn't prove that you can solve a problem in that field. So you studied accounting for four years in the best university you were even the president of your department. 001 sir, businesses are only interested in what you have that can solve their problem.

When I told someone that I am a web designer, he laughed because I studied Sociology in the university and not computer science or programming stuff. But I have seen a so claimed computer scientist with a vast knowledge in programming ( according to his grades ) who can not design a WordPres website ahh.

Tell me something, if you are the HRM of a company that is looking to hire a web designer, between me and that person, who will you hire and did I tell you I have designed 9 websites in total between October 2020 and May 2021 ( I know the numbers are low that is because I have been very busy with social media marketing ).

A degree or a certificate only puts you in the crowd a skill makes you stand out in the crowd.

There are so many skills you can learn but not all the skills are high income skills. A few of the high income skills out there that I will like you to learn at least one of it are; social media marketing, digital marketing, web designing, copy writing, coding and programming, content creation and video editing, negotiation and closing ( sales ). The list is huge but these skills are the most sought after skills in the market.

Bottom line of my epistle to you today is to acquire a high income skill fast even if you want to be a full time 8-6 worker, or you want to be a freelancer like myself.

A good product description might just be the solution to your low sales and conversions.
Having a good product description can go a long way in facilitating a sale.

However, the issue with most product descriptions is that the writer focuses more on the feature than on the benefits of buying the product. People buy the product because of what the product can do for them and not the features, size or color of a product.

People buy from you when they have a clear picture of 'what's in it for them' ( WIIFD ). Your product description should create a picture of desire in the minds of your readers or potential buyers. Take the features of that product and turn it into a benefit.

For example, let's say you are selling a mobile phone with the following features;
> 48mp camera
> 5000 mhp battery
> Gorilla glass 5,
How then can you use these features to write a good product description?

Here is a tip below;

> 48mp camera will help you take clearer pictures so for your description, write; (48mp camera to help you snap your best moments ).
> 5000 mhp battery will give you a longer lasting time so for your description write; ( 5000mhp to enable you get more work done without having to charge after 2 hours )
> Gorilla glass 5 means you have a gotten the solution to broken screen and calibrator. So for your product description write; ( gorilla glass 5 which makes you enjoy your device without bothering about a fall or liquid spill on your device ).

If you need help with writing a product description, I will be more than glad to help you out. And, I will be writing free product descriptions for the first 10 individuals to comment on this post with their product's features.

If you want to connect with me on Whatsapp, you can do so by checking my profile.
