No let's hope u won't be surprised when u die and face the judgement |
@krayolar apologies if i offended didn't mean to. |
@krayolar i know it makes you feel extra smart to have thrown away the baggage of belief in God, but i wonder whether your enlightment gives you peace.the fact that you don't understand the concept of God does not render it a fallacy or fiction.one thing i know even though scientifcally speaking i may not be able to prove it is that God exists,and although i may not have any mind boggling tale of how i encountered God,but throughout my life in little ways i have experienced both evil and Good which are beyond the normal. |
@krayolar u can't just state that matthew and the other gospels were not written by eyewitnesses without giving references or proof. |
@oladegbu You left out the one which is most important to the world now he is the Redeemer both of Isreal and of the entire world |
@muhsin Jesus tells us that he is the express image of the Father and that once we've seen him then we've seen the Father.he tells us that he has been with the Father from the Beginning and that he and his Father are one,he tells us that he is in his father and the father is in him. So answer ur own question from the above |
@muhsin the Bible specifically tells us we are created in God's image and a lot of Gods characteristics can also be seen in man-love,anger at sin, mercy and justice so although we are not on the same level with God,we are a lot like him and can become even more like him through faith in Christ and this is the hope of every christian to become more Christ-like or if you prefer God-like |
@huxley at the risk of contradicting myself i don't think "multiple wars, crusade, book burning, wicthhunts, persecutions, burning of libraries"can be said to be christian ideas if you consider christianity to be a way of life patterned on that of christ all these actions were taken by a political system and those who corrupted the original christian ideals but the true ideals which Christ showed forth-love for neighbours,turning the other cheek, respect for authority and a life void of offence toward God and man hardly seem to be a danger to me. |
[Am just hoping someone will be saved from the likes of Cerullo, Hinn, Oral Roberts, Swaggard etc. And sure enough, I am an advocate for scientific rationalism. I think religion (xianity and all religions) poses a threat to our civilisation

@ therationa you seem to forget that our "civilization"is based on christianity. |
which one is this love all of you are talking abt,most probably that's why the guy wan run forget the love thingy tell him you like him a lot but abeg cool down on the love stuff jeez !!! |
@ abuzola do u actually read what u post, because sincerely speaking not one of ur posts really make sense.maybe u shd post in arabic and ask a colleague who is more coherent in english to translate it for u before u scramble my thinking apparatus with ur yarns. |
the bible tells us that though God is all powerful he submits or abides by his own laws.and bearing in mind that the reward/wages of sin is death.blood had to be shed and not just any blood but unblemished blood thereby disqualifying humans and leaving only Christ the unblemished lamb of God |
@wirinet i think the major problem u guys have with intelligent design is the fact that it cannot be reproduced under standard conditions, but pls show me where evolution has been reproduced under lab or standard conditions for it to merit being called fact/science,it is all a theory widely accepted but never reproduced or proven. |
just wondering but does anyone else appreciate how truly moronic this statement often made by politicos who have chopped and are still chopping nigeria silly make to justify this mistake called a nation |
