And he was asked how did he get this far with a 2.2 and from state university?
He did not get the job.

I had their discussion in Lagos.
It's nothng serious.
They would just ask you a few questions. Tell us about urself, what are ur career goals, what are ur hobbies. They just want to meet you before they present you to employers of labour.
Also, rem to go there with all the things they asked u to bring. You forget anyone, they'll disqualify you.
If you are successful, u'll then write a test. verbal reasoning and critical reasoning. Simple questions but be fast.
Also take ur calculator along, it would surely be of help during critical reasoning.

I really don't know cos from their test and the letter, they sounded like they really want to be strict.
I got a text message from them and also an e-mail which they said we must bring along a copy.
If you're not really doing anything tomorrow, then u can give it a try.
They may alllow gate crashers, they may not. Really can't tell.

The test is holding at Federal college of educ.(Tech) Akoka. That college of education close to unilag.
I was asked to come by 10.am so I don't know if all are for that time. The date is tomorrow 19th May, 2007.

It depends on the position that you are applying for.
Entry level of starcomms is not too good. If experienced, then it pays you.
Entry level and experienced of multilinks is bad. Only the indians are enjoying.
Reltel is just fair. Not so exceptional.
But of the three, if it's for entry level, then go for reltel
If it's experienced hire, starcomms is the bomb.

One thing is pertinent here. I believe that the more you write, the better your chances gets 'cos you will definitely begin to realise the kind of aptitude tests that you are weak in. That would make you work on them and u'll definitely be having higher scores.
All the same, I believe we are both talking of ideal situations where the results of these tests are followed to the latter.
The million dollar question is are they really followed religiously?

Yes they bring out their advert but would never label it halliburton.
They just list positions and qualifications needed and they ask candidtates to send their CV's to a particular post office address.
Keep on looking out brother. You never can tell when they would bring out the next one.

Firsty, the company does exist but I want you to know that you will not enjoy value for your money.
This is how they operate cos I've been there b4
After paying the 1000, they give you a note to one of their acclaimed clients to pick up a job. Eventually, the candidate ends up not getting that job and they keep sending him/her to different clients until the money expires and then you will have to pay another money.
They are in the same league with PSS Limited at Okota Road Isolo. I know them very well.
If you have the money to throw around, pls go ahead and you could just be lucky.
If you don't pls bone them so they don't swindle you of the little you have to attend other tests and interviews.

The pay package then was 80,000 per month. Am talking about last year. I have a church member who was there and left the place for oceanic bank.
The working hours not as rigorous as that of the bank.
I think the place is cool but not the best if you understand what I mean.

You did not state that money clearly
Are you talking of 8000.00naira(eight thousand) or 80,000.00naira(eighty thousand) or 8,000,000.00naira(eight million).
If it is eight thousand, pls forget it cos you will suffer.
If it is eighty thousand, you will just be surviving.
If it is eight million, you are a king.
All the options are open so choose one.
Also as per the security stuff, all I can say is that though Nigeria is not so secure, It is not that bad ok?
