The country called Nigeria was a British company used by the British to loot the region in colonial times. Bringing together over 200 languages , cultures and tribes into a political entity was always a recipe for disaster. A lot of these tribes don't like each other. Nigeria as it is today should never have existed in the first place if not for the greed of colonial Britain.

I am not sure what Ibos living in Lagos or ESN & IPOB has to do with what I typed. I am simply relating my life experience with both tribes. I am from a Niger Delta tribe so I am talking from a 3rd party perspective.

I have Ibo and Yoruba friends. What I have discovered over the years is that for the Ibos, when you are struggling and you reach out to your Ibo friend for help, most of them tend to be very tight-fisted. However when you are successful, they want to be associated with you. I hate this characteristic of them. It is when a man is down that he knows who his true friends are.

The Yoruba friends are more willing to help if they can. But when it comes to tribalism, it is the Yorubas. When you hear a Yoruba person call you omo Ibo (whether you are Ibo or not, they dont care) , especially when they shout it loudly for their fellow Yorubas around to hear in a very public setting and they have this look of disdain on their face, just be wary and look for a way to exit that area.

I am not Ibo or Yoruba. But I have lived in the East and West Nigeria because of school and work and I know that Yorubas are the most tribalistic tribe in Nigeria and the average Yoruba detests the average Ibo. Ask the Yoruba person why, and you wont hear an answer that makes sense. Relic of the Nigerian Civil War. Hatred passed on from grandfather to father to son today. Ibo, Hausa, Yoruba. 3 major tribes that because of selfishness, nepotism and greed have messed up a country with such a great potential.

My girlfriend is a Banker at GTB (not a contract staff). I just love her unconditionally. I thought she was different from other ladies. My girlfriend is cheating on me with an elderly ugly man.

She switched off her phone for 2 days, since on Tuesday. The first day I noticed, I was scared for her safety because she don't behave like that.

I called her very close friend and she said she haven't heard from her too but I shouldn't worry that she's fine.

Then I knew something was fishy. I live in Ogun state, so I went to Lagos early this morning as at 4:45am hoping to see her at home before she go to work.

In my mind, I was like since Sunday? Well, I know since last week, she has been acting strange. I noticed she's always quick to discharge me whenever we're on call.

I just went straight to her office at ikeja. I met with a security man and i asked if miss Lydia (not her real name) has come to office this morning? He said no but she will soon come afterall work starts by 8am and it's just 7am.

I just sat inside my car looking angry and curious. As at 7:25am, a car dropped her. I came down from my car immediately to approach her.

I was like so this is the ugly slowpoke you have been staying with since on Sunday that made you switched off your phone abi? She even have guts to ask what am I doing in Lag?

This is a girl I have never cheated on her before. Despite I am good looking, dark and tall with a good physique.

I don't know what to do. I'm heart broken . She hasn't even call me till now. This is a girl I have sacrificed a lot for.

I'm a stammerer, a chronic and dreadful one at that. I can repeat an initial word like forever before I could complete my statement. It has made me hate my life and existence. I have a very low-self esteem, I can't express myself, I can't even approach a girl not to talk of being a relationship because I'm afraid of being mocked.

I'm a graduate in accounting education from AAU. I have always dreamt of becoming a lecturer/teacher. I'm smart and intelligent, I love to impact knowledge but I can't express myself. It's a big disability for me.

Back then in University, when i went for my teaching practice, the first day I taught in a classroom, I sense an undesirable atmosphere. I knew the students were trying to laugh but they respected their selves. When I got home, I locked myself and I cried.... But life goes on.

I graduated 2017, I went for nysc 2018. Since then my life has no bearing. I have not achieved anything. I feel inadequate despite I read a lot and I'm intelligent. It pains me I can't communicate to impact knowledge without stammering.

My father is making it worse for me, he compare me with other guys, he has never appreciated any thing I've done for him, he talks down on me. He finds fault in anything I do, he talks as if I created myself.

My mom and siblings are the reason why I haven't committed suicide. They encourage me everyday, especially my mom who is sick now.

I prefer to be completely deaf and dumb than for me to talk and not be able to express myself.

God is not perfect. If God was perfect, he would not have created some people with disability or deformity. Some people were born crippled, deaf, blind etc.. And you wanna tell me God is perfect? He's a partial and sentimental God. I try to understand his vision but all I see is damages.

Please I'm so depressed. I need advice.

Use Youtube videos to find a way to overcome. Don't curse God. Everything in life happens for a reason. Don't curse your father. Instead, believe that you will meet light at the end of the tunnel, and all who have mocked you will see you then and feel ashamed of their past behaviour.
