The lady who accused D'banj of raping her back in 2018, Seyitan Babatayo, has been released after being arrested by the Lagos state police.

Babatayo's lawyers confirmed her arrest on Tuesday June 16. Her lawyers told Premium Times;

“They arrested Seyitan this morning in Lagos. They arrested our client but somebody is already there to facilitate her release on bail.

“This matter is coming to Abuja by tomorrow; we are petitioning. The Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) is taking up the petition tomorrow. That is all I can say about it for now."

Popular Singer D'banj has finally reacted nearly two weeks after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman back in December 2018.
On June 3, a Nigerian model scout, Benjamin Ese, alleged reported that D'banj raped his friend on December 31, 2018, at Glee hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Subsequently, the woman revealed herself on Twitter. The Lady, Seyitan Babatayo claimed she is the one D'Banj allegedly raped and she narrated how it happened.

Seyitan Babatayo, in a series of Twitter posts, narrated how she was invited to an all-white party at Eko Atlantic by D'banj’s manager. She claims that after the party, D'banj managed to obtain the key to her hotel room from a staff of the hotel and gained entrance while she was asleep.

She then demanded a public apology from D’banj, through her lawyers (Ojoge, Omileye, and Partners).

The singer, D'banj has now reacted to the allegations. He made an official statement on his Instagram Page and He also released screenshots of legal documents filed by his lawyers.

A lady on instagram with the handle @mystic_sweetness has taken to the platform to accuse Nigerian Musician, Zoro of raping her.




The lady said it happened on the 20th of April, back in 2015 and it took place at his friend’s house in Magodo, Lagos.

A Seventeen Year old girl, known as Seun Adekunle was arrested along side her Twenty-Five Year old Boyfriend known as Basit Olasunkanmi by the Police Force in Ogun State for faking the Kidnap of the Girl.



The two were arrested after a complaint by the mother, Bukky Adekunle, she alerted the police on the 4th of June 2020 that she sent her daughter to Lafenwa market since on the 1st of June 2020 and has not returned since then.


She stated further that "she received a mysterious call two days later from someone who claimed to have abducted the girl and demanding for the sum of N500,000 as ransom if she likes to see her daughter alive again".


Mrs Adekunle said "the caller warned her not to make the mistake of involving the police if she still needs her daughter alive".

However, a technical and intelligence based investigation led the police to the hideout where the girl and her boyfriend were hiding and pretending to be with kidnappers.

They were promptly arrested and brought to the Station. Preliminary Investigation revealed that the boyfriend who is a butcher brainwashed the girl and lured her into his wicked plan because he needed the money to settle some things (only God knows what).

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, C.P Kenneth Ebrimson has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and probably a possible prosecution.

Glee Hotel has debunked the news of having popular singer, Dbanj’s alleged rape victim on their guest list on 2018.

Remember, D’banj was said to have raped a lady inside one of the rooms in the hotel where the girl lodged. He’s said to have been given a spare key to the girl’s room.

Song writer and Record producer, Davido, as at when this Blog Post was written, is no longer following one of his record label’s prominent artists, Peruzzi on Instagram.



This happened not long after Twitter users discovered some tweets of Peruzzi from 2011/2012, admitting he is a rapist. Davido’s action also comes after Peruzzi was accused of rape by a lady on social media, an allegation in which he has since denied.

Last week, comedian, Seyi Law, made news after he announced on Instagram that he is separating from his wife, Stacey. Seyi had posted;
