From the photo below, who do you think is Dangerhuh
That someone is in danger doesn't mean he will die. That 1 will fall doesn't mean he'll die, we don't really know how hight the cliff is. That 2 will be shot doesn't mean he will die.

So let's focus on what we can see. We are not sure of the hight that 1 might fall from, but we are very sure 1 is holding a gun at 2. So 2 is in more danger. 1 might fall and cracked some bones but gun shut? I rather jump than get shot.

Brothers and Sisters, the only way now is being self employed.

Many of us are just too scared to start.
I have created a WhatsApp group. To be able to control the group, we will have just 10 serious minded entrepreneurs. We have a lot to learn and teach each other about starting and maintaining a business.

I'm one of the ten. I promise the first 5 members, free logo designs for their new businesses.

Send your WhatsApp number to 08029104664.

Let's do this. Thanks.

Nairaland General › Open Letter To Olamide Aka Baddo by Maximus85(op):
We all watched you from when you were that skinny struggling man working hard on the street trying hard to make a name for yourself and make a living. When we look at you today, we see a hard worker who believed he can make something good in life. We Love you. You are a role model to anyone who wants to succeed through hardwork. Thank you for representing the street. The street as you will say has indeed taken over but we want to maintain that. Those pooshies will do everything to take it bad. Na brain we go use ooo.

Patience is key Olamide, you are the hottest musician presently. My old mother will say “Mo like omo yen” you are accepted and respected by Nigerians. You respect the elders and give honor to whom it is due. We love you gannnnn.

My Mother said it is better to be cheated and you stay calm than creating a scene. Instead of how you reacted, you could have allowed Nigerians fight for you. You disrespected us your loyal fans. Think about it. Could you have handled the situation better? These 10minutes madness could have a very negative effect on your career. Don’t be afraid, we still dey your back like IKE.

We need to rectify what has happed before it gets too late bro. You are angry, mad, disappointed, felt cheated and all, do you think we don’t know? Ask Wande Coal, ask Burner Boy, they went through this same ordeal but they handled it better. Hard work pays. What you achieve through pain stays forever yours.

From my own small brain, I feel you need to do a public apology to those you had issues with and then you loyal fans and the general public.
As I dey write this letter, I dey listen to standing ovation wey you do with Mavin’s first lady. E dey banging for my head. Even if you felt been cheated, you should try hard to remain peaceful, it pays. Do you remember how many times R.Kelly was ignored by The Grammys? He kept hia cool and still very respected till tomorrow. You should be calm as well. Lil Kesh is the next big thing, please don’t create enemies for him. It may affect the youngman later in his career.

You are getting too explicit in your music, you can curb it and still make us happy. Lil Kesh uses languages bigger than his age and its disturbing. YBNL is a household name and we want to maintain it. Lets be more moral and peaceful with our musical colleagues. Jebure baddo. No one knows tomorrow.

and to Headies, please tell the public how the winners of these awards is selected to avoid this king of brouhaha repeating itself in the future. This is the third time this is happening.

I hope this letter will get to you, Olamide in peace.

Is this a joke , how can the Blackberry priv be sold at ₦225,000 in Slot, or was it a mistake by the Admin on their website..

Can you buy it at that price
I don't care what anyone says to me.
If you buy a mobile fone for N100,000,you need a brain test.
Cos with just N30,000 you can still get a smart phone that will perform the same functions.

We say Nigeria is poor, yet someone can spend N170,000 on a mere phone just to call, receive calls, send emails, txt messages, surve the net, download etc, things a phone of N30k like I said can do.
Whereas some people can't afford a square meal.

Are we buying necessities or paying stupidly for luxury?

Have you seen Otedola's phone? Have you seen Bill Gates, what of Dangote's......

Attack me if you know I've said something senseless.

Romance › Re: 6 Things Women Notice The First Time They Meet A Man. by Maximus85(m): 2:50pm On Dec 31, 2015
KimBerlyie:
Meeting a new guy can be as exhilarating as it is daunting. For him to be bae, he has to meet the approval of your mates, your family and more importantly and first on the list- you! So if you are wondering if the little things you just have to tick off your list after he says hello are important then compare your list to ours!

1) His appearance.

We are finicky about the way he looks. We want a man who breathes swag! He doesn't have to wear very expensive clothes but his clothes should fit him and be a good match and his sense of style should be good enough to keep us interested.

2) His time piece!

A good wristwatch speaks volumes. It says he is classy, he has good taste and he can afford to splurge so our eyes never miss the sparkle beneath his sleeve!

3) His breath!

Fresh breath is a must-have. Bad breath is a deal breaker any day and any man who is oblivious to the smell emanating from his mouth will be oblivious to other things that are very important to us besides how can we even bear to respond to his hello when his breath is hostile?

4) His diction!

Good English is a must. A man who can't construct a proper sentence without burning our ears will never be bae! Where would we even start from? How on earth would we communicate or introduce him to other sapiosexuals?

4.5) Her Diction
You see a very pretty lady and for the first 10seconds you would have quickly rehearsed like 10 lines of scopings. Only for her to be like, why har you hacting (acting) too confideunce (confident) they annoy me with that irritating "H" factor. Hask, hages, haccept etc, the most annoying is when they remove the H from their words, like Aouse, Apply, there horse is ox.

So when you talk about us, watch yourself. If you want to paint your nails, paint it and stop leaving them half peeled, it's irritatingly annoying.

5) His manners!

We want prince charming and not an ogre in a nice suit! If he can't be decent to the strangers around him and acts rude, brash or entitled or less than the gentleman he ought to be then he definitely won't make the cut! Chivalry isn't dead!

6) His scent

There's nothing quite as heavenly as a man who smells good. The scent of his cologne mixing with his manly scent just makes our pheromones gush! On the other hand a man who smells sweaty, icky or pungent is an immediate turn off.

So which of these have you crossed off your list today? If he doesn't make first cut, there's no point probing deeper!

Celebrities › Re: Davido Replies Sophie Momodu; Reveals How She Manipulated & Exploited Him by Maximus85(m): 11:02pm On Dec 30, 2015
What's our business with this rich people?
Instead of minding your garri in peace, we are wasting our data on something that's none of our business.

Davido blamed his stupidity on vaivity or vulnerability cos he was just 21.
Where was his rich father when he was sleeping with the Momodu's niece? Lack of basic parental training.
Mr Momodu was all happy when the child was born. I was mad then that David fathering a child out of Wedlock is not worth celebrating. NL wan comot my head.

Davido wan talk say him no dey smoke cannabis?

We are yet to hear from the other party, so no one has the right to judge or take sides.

Davido to me have many reasons to want to take the child away from the lady and kick her away.
1. She's older
2. Her body figure is diminishing.
3. Hardly can a babymama become a wife to her babypapa.
4. Davido is still too small for all these, he still doesn't know what he wants.
5. His parent MIGHT not want him to remain with the lady.

Let's hear from the lady first before we start getting aggressive and calling people names.

You didn't add PROSPERITY.

What makes me laff most is their yearly theme.

Since the 90's ooo
My year of double grace
My year of prosperity
My year of double portion
My year of divine upliftment
My year of absolute grace
My year of heaven on earth (lol)

Just look at them, they are all stuck/trapped in the same spot. Only if they can get free, they will be more successful working hard and then praying to God to bless their effort.

Good job by the pastors though, they well know how to fuel and ginger the gullible people's gullibility.

The more they look, the less they see.

Now, I'm waiting to be insulted. The truth is more bitter than bitter leave.
Music/Radio › Re: So You Think You Can Sing? Nairaland Music Contest 2015 (season 3) by Maximus85(m): 11:00am On Dec 30, 2015

1. Just because someone says i am something that didnt come out of my keyboard does not mean i should be persecuted for it. Giyazz no doubt over exaggerated what i do now and used to do on here.

2. I saw this thread late before my closing time i work and decided to do a quick run through of all the voice notes and give a quick rating. if you check the times of my posts you would notice they were between 4:30 - 5:30pm. Who wants to stay at work on the 29th December to be on nairaland? I was only supporting the nice initiative of a thread by downloading all the voice Notes and rating.
The fact that i didn't give an 'expert' view on the voice notes means i should not rate how i wish to? If you go to auditions, you will get a yes or a no in most cases so why is me giving a rating to cut things short a problem or should be disregarded? Its like choosing which votes to accept and which to reject in a poll because its convenient.

3. I believe none of you is getting paid for this and most of you just want to have fun and see what comes out of it. Keep that mindset and don't expect much, see it as a stepping stone to bigger and better things.

4. Unless i read the rules of the thread wrongly, it said "Upload a VN of yourself singing, and let us rate, (it didnt say give an expert opinion). Lets have Fun Fun Fun". .So why so serious?
We have heard you sir. Please give us your own VN so we can rate sir.

Some people are musically deaf sha. They are the type that thinks Tonto Dike sings better than Mariah Carey. Smh

Damaging criticism? If someone cannot sing, tell it to their face. it is being honest. I am sorry i will not encourage mediocrity. I used to think i was a rapper, i did rap battles, i did tracks. . fact is, i was whack and my family members thought i was the next best thing since agege bread. If i had listened to them i would have been a failed artiste (Fact) by now chasing a lost dream.

I told you it was not special because you already told us you we would not regret downloading your VN. i am sorry but i expected more from such boastful person. YOUR VN was not SPECIAL. deal with it.
OK, dyU regret downloading my VN?

That you're wack doesn't mean others are.

What if I've said I was 100% sure you won't regret downloading? You would have removed my head?
Let us hear what you can do.
I don't criticise someone who can do something better than me. It's called jealousy or envy as the case maybe.
