Wats d offence of Nnamdi Kalu? 2. Why will buhari feel so less concern wenever dey is killing of igbos by the Nigerian Army which are trained to protect and guide d Nigerians and d nation. Is it dat Igbos are foreigners? Just a question. Talk with respect if u have something to say! |
I smell a mini war aftermath! I smell freedom! I smell division and I smell a better atmosphere! Upon the truth bn known by all, that our peaceful elected president can't handle his work rather seeing his seat so hot. It will surprise u to see his quite from power or will snatch it from him by force. Its quiet obvious that a country dat was known to be great is now an half history! |

I don't care about the list! And a reason person will do the same as well. The fact will still remain that the product is considered. Enugu State University of Science and Technology products are always the best in all ramifications. We are not ranked at the top but our potential is known. Proudly an Esutite!!! |
I have a questIon! How sure are we dat d Nigerian government are following through our post and comments here in Nairaland. I just wish dis info and comments gets to dem!!! |
Biafra can be possible, Biafra possibility and
viability doesn’t stop Biafra relationship with
Nigeria. The way Nepal hasn’t stopped cordial
relationship with India nor Hong Kong stopping
relationship with Mainland China. I just keep
asking why can’t we African think, must we be
violent. There can be Biafra and other countries
but in a confederation form, something we have
in United Kingdom. |
bloodyBLOGGER:The same Nnamdi Kanu dat you confessed is Innocent! Are u confused or what? Or is it dat u haven't taken ur drugs. |
MOD! Make front page!!! Very important info!!! |
BUH! Is it by force to be together! Haba! |
Northern youth under the aegis of the Arewa
Triumphant Youth Foundation, have begged the
Indigenous People of Biafra and members of the
Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign
State of Biafra to lay down their arms and
embrace dialogue for peace to reign in the land.
They said they would not be happy to see the
South- Eastern part of the country break away
from Nigeria.
ATYF’s National President, Ibrahim Yusuf, spoke
at a press conference on Friday to herald
activities lined up for a proposed Arewa Youth
Leadership Summit scheduled for this month in
Kaduna.
Yusuf said it was regrettable that major actors in
Biafra violence, Boko Haram insurgency,
kidnapping and Fulani herdsmen crisis across the
country were youth of present generation.
According to him, there is no point for our
eastern brothers and sisters to be agitating to
pull out of Nigeria regardless of ethnic and
religious inclinations.
“We are brothers. We should be able to live
together as one big family. Nothing should
separate us. MASSOB should lay down their
arms, and allow us to stay together for the
betterment of this great country.
“There is no doubt that 99 per cent of these
people that are into these various crises are
young persons, and this is because they are
jobless, and to stop them from being violent,
government at all levels must provide jobs and
the enabling environment for the youth.
“President Buhari should fulfill his promise paying
N5,000 to unemployed persons in the country,
even though I don’t support the idea of sharing
money because it may cause crisis, and make
people lazy.
“I will rather support government giving the
people nets to catch fish than giving them fish to
eat, and rebuild the country of one nation, one
vision and one goal.
“Government should realise that as one Nigeria,
until it brings everybody together, the country
will continue to have crisis.” |
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited several arms dealers, a military chief and some other officials over an investigation of arms deals during the Jonathan administration. According to reports, a N3 billion contract said to have been awarded by the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) under the late General Andrew Owoye Azazi. The arms dealers are being quizzed over the alleged inflation of N3billion contract for the supply of 20 units of K-38 patrol boats to the Nigerian Army by the disbanded Presidential Implementation Committee on Marine Safety (PICOMMS). The agency is also understood to have made a breakthrough in tracking how some of the $2billion arms votes and extra-budgetary funds were withdrawn from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) based on orders from above. Similarly, the commission has quizzed a former Chairman of the Presidential Implementation Committee on Marine Safety (PICOMMS), Air Vice Marshal, Salihu Atawodi(rtd), for a N600m arms scam. A top-level source familiar with the development said the arms dealers were invited “for interaction on the contracts given to them.” We noticed some discrepancies like the short supply of equipment, non-delivery and outright refusal to execute contracts. “One of the areas we are looking into is how PICOMMS was allegedly mismanaged under AVM Atawodi. We have allegations of inflation of N3billion contract for the supply of 20 units of K-38 patrol boats to the Nigerian Army. “There are issues about lack of due process in the award of the contract and non-delivery of the 20 units of K-38 patrol boats to the Nigerian Army. From records so far, the nation might have been short-changed to the tune of over N2billion out of the contract sum. “In an instance, N620million was withdrawn from the contract sum, changed to dollars and shared by some officials of PICOMMS in one day. We will fish out the culprits.” A top source in EFCC said: “Atawodi was arrested for alleged case of conspiracy, abuse of office and misappropriation of public funds. “He allegedly abused his position as chairman of presidential implementation committee on marine safety to defraud the Nigerian government to the tune of over N600m through dubious contract to procure military boats. “He awarded the contract to one Hypertech Nigeria Limited. The contractor was fully paid, but the boats were never supplied. The contract award process violated the Procurement Act. “AVM Atawodi, who has been on the radar of the anti- graft agency since 2013, was quizzed for several hours on Wednesday after he responded to the invitation extended to him.” The EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the grilling of Atawodi by the commission. “He is assisting the ongoing investigation,” he added. About two years ago, a businessman blew the lid open on N3billion contract for the supply of six units of K-38 patrol boats to the disbanded Presidential Implementation Committee on Maritime Security (PICOMSS). The businessman alleged that one of the officials of PICOMSS converted N620million down payment for the contract into personal use. The same PICOMSS was enmeshed in the theft of over 200m Euros. http://ireporteronline.com/p12903_efcc-begins-probe-of-another-n3bn-arms-deal-under-late-ex-nsa-azazi |
Ghana’s President Hurls Insults At Obasanjo At African Forum In London, Says He Is An ”Idiot” And A “Silly Buffoon” . There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults. This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.
