Onistephen1: I have the same problem. I uploaded my passport only to discover it was not showing on the acknowledgement page after locking the data. pls is it like that for everyone and if not should i leave the application that way or i should reapply again.pls advice Really don't think reapplying is an option, had the same issue but I believe when the time is right for the test, they should send a mail to affected candidates to that effect asking them to re-upload their passport, am sure hundreds or thousands will be affected not just few. Remember, they clearly stated it multiple applications will lead to disqualification, if you use another mail, it's still the same details which I believe they will eventually detect, have been a victim of such mistake once and can't be again. But the choice is yours. |

FrankGiel: This mayoor15.. The only reason I'm taking the pain to address some of ur misinformation is, ITKs like you tried to discourage me, when I applied to UI. If I had listened to people like you, I would have been discouraged.. Mr ITK, as at 2010, 2As and 7Bs for a course like medicine in UI was Low.. I entered in 2007 for Petroleum engineering, even at 2007, that score wouldnt have made the cutoff for medicine.. I can teach u the formulae for calculating entry at that time., but u are just too proud and ignorant.. Get a life..
To those young ones trying to get into school, pls do not let any ITK discourage you. Those trying to apply to UI, one candid advise, ask those currently in 100 level for the mode of calculation. I have called my contacts, I'll be back with the new mode of calculation later today.. If u don't meet up, u can change ur course, but note, to cross back to ur preferred course is extremely difficult..not impossible but difficult... Secondly, u can change schools, many other schools have lower requirements. Last but not the least, you can wait, prepare better and try again next year. Forgive my typos. I'm quite busy at d moment.. Cheers Mr attention seeker, I know frustration is killing you, why not paddle your canoe alone and mind your business, bayooo guy made more sense than you did, you keep blabbing and the guy gave d dude a sensible idea yet you keep going to and fro, who asked you about merit or when you entered school or your course of study, that is what happen when you can't hold your thoughts, you spill all your life history to prove a point, maybe you should kuku post your date of birth, state of origin, account number, ATM pin to give more credence to your points...The guy you are even talking against is already a medical doctor, maybe you should go and collect his certificate to prove he isn't qualified, who takes an unstable man like you serious...Get a life and find an inanimate thing to vent your frustration at, don't come here ranting online. Have a great day mr |

stevoluz: Also have similar question also can unilorin give some one with jamb score 262 medicine with Neco o level from kogi It depends, Neco is not a determinant for unilorin, the new screening strategy will play a key role but besides that, unilorin medicine is sometimes who you know, but if the person is very good, why not let the person go for anatomy or physiology, if he is among the first 10, he will be moved to medicine automatically. |

FrankGiel: U can always pinpoint a child.. U came here to spew half truths. After calling you out for misinforming us, rather than eat the humble pie, u are still feeling smart.. Old fool, when will you wise up, as of 2010 someone made 2As7Bs in WAEC with 283 in Jamb and in your dull brain that is not enough to gain admission into medicine, d same dude used d same result to enter medicine in the number one university in Nigeria at that time, now he is a medical doctor. It's not your fault if you say WAEC isn't a test of intelligence, only God knows how many times you wrote waec before passing, people like you feel highly intelligent and informed and when pride messes your life up, you end up claiming successful people are lucky or you are better than them, in my initial statement I said I had a friend with 283, d OP only asked if 260 was enough for medicine in UI and shared my experience, even in 2010 it wasn't all about screening, post utme exams still holds, Olevel wasnt d sole determinant, his catchment area was also zero cos his state wasn't listed, many factors are used when considering people for admission in federal universities, you come here claiming to know all, pride comes before a fall, even if you know a lot or you are so experienced in an issue, there are times you apply wisdom, is not everytime you open you mouth and prove to the world you are super intelligent. OP sought for am advice, sensible people are advising him on the right way to go considering his scores and you are here carrying someone else who has already made it issue for head, if you like get 9As go get 200 for JAMB and say shebi Olevels is d most important thing not jamb result and other factors and go enter medicine now. I've checked some of your post and I can see pride and ITK runs in your blood, it's your problem, it's none of my business but for the last time, am begging you, get off my mention, if you quote me again, then it will be glaring, that your foolishness get grade. |

FrankGiel: My friend keep quiet.. U are talking with someone hat knows the system so be quiet.. 2As and 7 B's is a poor score for medicine in the university of Ibadan.. Take what I said to the Bank.. Its not enough for Merit entry into the university of Ibadan.. I got more than the 2A's and 7B's u are displaying, but I can tell u from experience that WaEC result isn't a true measure of intelligence... Learn more and be quiet Mr know the system, keep your frustration to yourself and gladly get off my mention, it's your problem, oh I just saw WaEC, na so dem dey write WAEC for una place, small letter inbetween capital letters, SMH....i shake my head for you, work on yourself first before forming baddo online. |

FrankGiel: I hate when people say half truths. Pls if you don't know the full story be quiet.. 283 is a very good score.. If the person did not gain admission into Ui, it means his WAEC wasn't so good or during screening, he performed woefully.. Half truth, so someone with 2As and 7Bs did woefully right, ask questions if you don't know before opening your mouth to speak trash. In your mind he had Cs and applied to UI right? The same result UI rejected was accepted by unilorin and the guy is a graduate Now. Not everyone is olodo like you.Looking at your preceding posts I can see I don't need to argue with you cos I know people like you that thinks they know so much but know nothing. bye bye |

God is your strength, keep hope alive but as of 2010, I know someone who had 283 and UI didn't blink their eyes to pick him for medicine but when grace works for a man, protocols are broken. |

Wondering why this got to FP, my first jamb I had 235 then, I was sober for days, what do we celebrate today 175,180,195...Most people here never had nairaland account till they finished university, you at age 16 or 17 calls yourself nairaland child or problem, no witch is after you, you are your own problem, Oloyede is here to cleanse jamb and he will achieve it, d days of getting Expo to pass is over. Better go sit yourself down and reduce your time on nairaland, facebook, whatsapp, instagram and snapchat, concentrate on making your papers first before wasting your time online |

Nchabuomo: My brother, my brother leave tribe out of it, unless you would give yourself bp. When Lagos started writing tests in March way before anyone, no one mentioned tribe, but few people in Lagos haven't done the interview, it's now tribe? Honestly major I assumed you are mature and objective, but this goes to show how little minded some of us are. I didn't even question how he scored his mark, that isn't any of my business! Have you ever considered the number of applicants in each center? Enugu was the only center in South East and that Center didn't host more than 200 people for the test. Lagos had way above that number. So do you expect both to take the same duration? Has Fidelity bank said they wouldn't get back to us? The HR contact is available all man can easily reach them. Did Fidelity bank give us their timeline for employment? Let's stop this shit and grow up. I can understand when old people talk about tribe but us young people too? Quickly whipping up tribal sentiments. Haba my brother! Did we all write the test same day? Did we all get interview invite same day? He has a right to feel anxious or expectant like any of us. But please do not whip up ethnic sentiments here. I now know your level of reasoning, so will you please stop mentioning me... Thanks |

Olinga: Unemployment making youths and sound graduates take anything as it comes.
Purpose of education is to know what, how, where to say things.
What is happening is unexceptable and cannot be argued about.. Take that to the bank.
NB...Fidelity take example from access bank, theirs was more seemless and professional Access Bank get two heads Now....HR system in Nigeria is kind of messed up, but we the younger generation needs to get rid of the current mentality, but how do we do that when majority are already enshrined deep into the old system, something's are not about marginalisation, quota system or tribalism, it's all about creating a mindset in people, I still wonder how some people reason when they insist it's not compulsory for organisations to give you feedback at every stage. |

Nchabuomo: You lost me at that point. So because she is a woman, she has to express herself a certain way to suit your societal stereotype? That's quite shallow man. She expressed a legitimate view. The dude was acting pompous. Oh you knew it's a dead bank and yet applied? Beautiful. Why tell us your score? The same sense of entitlement..... Because you scored 79 you should be invited for interview, have they said they would not invite you? Take a chill pill man. Mayor no need to bring tribe into this, it's quite immature. Besides as an applicant who did not pay to apply you are only entitled to what their terms & conditions entitled you too.Fidelity bank isn't under any obligation to give you a reply or to continue the employment. And it's the standard, it's at a firms will to give you a feedback, same way it's at your will to honor their invite, attend interview, or even take up the employment. You lost yourself bro, the fact is when many people here becomes HR later in life, most will do the same, no one is insistent on tfare, but what is wrong is wrong, it has no other name, it is wrong for organisations to treat job seekers like trash, and it's more wrong for you to talk down on your fellow applicant because you've done your interview and he has not, even if he crammed to pass d test, scoring almost 80 shows his level of smartness, you talk about tribe, Fidelity brought that into d question d moment they left a part and concentrated on another, I think nothing stops them from taking everything simultaneously but if they chose to do their thing that way, it's their problem, but we need to stop this silly mentality that HR don't owe us anything, they owe you at least a feedback if not d job. |

cutecheeks: He was busy running his mouth like he is their customer. If they check now, he has no account there o. Ndi applicant. Kam hukwa his CV, dustbin straight! You are a woman and should get more chill than this, though Fidelity does not owe anybody but the moment they called him for test and he used his money for tfare, he deserves a response, why not stop everyone after d first interviews so that no one feels cheated? Or to you, you feel it make sense to spend about 6-7k for test and yet not called for interview while others have been, you think it's really cool in this recession? It's quite easy for you to run your mouth cos you've done your interviews I guess, Whatever he chose to do with his life, seek for a job or start a business is none of your business, the fact that he also doesn't have an account doesn't make him less qualified, I don't need a seer to know tribalism runs deep in your blood, you have a sense of entitlement that Fidelity is your bank......I sometimes pity Nigeria cos with people like you, the country has no future..... |
