Am sorry about the rejection, but you didn't put your undergraduate gpa but based on gradcafe website i observed that the average gpa of admitted students was at least 3.67, maybe its from there?
My undergraduate Gpa is 4.69 out of 5, that is about 3.8 out of 4(Wes)

Hi everyone!
I got rejected after applying for a PhD at Georgia state University yesterday. I already contacted a professor that was willing/accepted to mentor me before i applied.. My gre score is 302, Awa: 4.0. My write-ups were fine, i even got reviews and help from involved people. I just finished my masters program but didn't include it as there's no transcript at the moment. Please, what could be the reason why my application didn't come through because i met all requirements and i even had a P. I that was interested already.. Thanks in anticipation for your responses

Ma and sirs, I will really appreciate if I can get any help at all, references, links, words and all. Thanks in anticipation.

Lol, seriously? What's the morally wrong thing about it? What full package? Guy, I'm not like that at all, just remove all those servicing things from your head and think straight. You can't just open your mouth and start spitting rubbish. During these 7 years, we've never even had sex ever.
Please, just keep your opinions if you don't have something meaningful to contribute.
vingeophysicist:
Why will she stay a relationship for that long . It is morally wrong to even do that , this is the reason why ladies stay single for ever.If you could have full package of a particular product will you go extra miles to spend more on it.The guy is just tired nothing more.

vingeophysicist:
Somebody has service your engine for good 7 years and you want to pass the same engine to an innocent man . Allow the man continue his good work or is the man tired already.
I pray you don't pass that engine to someone I know because I will be the first to raise the alarm .Youth of nowadays , if you can allow an ordinary boyfriend to service your engine for 7 years what will you remain for your future hubby. Spit!!!

You're very correct,
What do I talk to him about, you guys know yourselves. He will start to think I'm bugging him on marriage issues and all that.
I thought of waiting too,but is it advisable? I'm 26 now, in 2 years time, I'll be 28.

you might end up waiting for him and las las,he go Bleep you up..

though its up to you to wait or not.

for me,see if you can talk him up, tell him your mind and hear what he has to say.

waiting for another extra 2-3year is still a good trygrin "only if and only the oboki is serious ooh"

or rather, you know the next optgringrin

now i understand why people say women dnt end up marrying who they lovegrin

That's how I decided to ask bae what the future holds for our almost 7years relationship oo( we met when we were very young). Settling down is not in his short term plans at all, he wants to work, hustle for cash, go for his masters before even thinking about settling. It's not like I'm in a hurry but I don't think I'd be able to wait that long when there are others that can't wait to start a family with me, besides I have lots to do with my life too and I intend starting early. The thing just tire me because I love this guy.
What will you guys advice?

Hi everyone, please I need your sincere thoughts and advice on this issue I'm about narrating; I have this friend( he's a good guy and should be in his early 30's). He applied for a tourist visa and his interview is next month, he called me up to inform me that he needs my help, the help-he needs a photograph of me, him with two random kids as an evidence for marital ties during his interview. I'm an aspiring Student too, presently preparing for my gre.
Is it safe to help him? What advice can I give to him?
Thanks for your anticipated responses

Quoran:
1. SPRING - January Admission ; FALL - August Admission
2. They accept applications at anytime of the year. No deadlines. From my own observations, schools with such rolling applications have limited funding. I may be wrong though. Check the faculty members webpages and the graduate admissions page also.
3. Your chances are bright. Start your research early. Know what your target schools want. Do well on the GRE. Read this thread thoroughly ( I know you have started that already!) I really cannot suggest schools to you because Biochemistry it is not my area of interest.

All the best.
Thanks for the response, God bless you sir.

I also studied Biochemistry so I feel a kind of Kinship towards you.
Do you want a MSc or PhD? Do you want to study core Biochemistry at graduate level or are you more interested in related fields such as Cell biology, molecular biology, Genetics. e.t.c. These and more will inform your Choice of schools.
Thanks, Msc preferably. I'm more interested in related fields such as biotechnology and molecular biology.
Can we relate please?
Thanks.
