Terrible mistake!

Facebook is free to join and is beneficial in many ways, but to Kaitlyn Walls, Facebook is the reason for her unemployment till now.

Kaitlyn Walls, a 27-year-old mom who lives in The Colony, a suburb north of Dallas,USA told CBS-DFW that she was fired the day her new job was supposed to start.

While crying and wiping tears, Kaitlyn Walls said, “Oh I made a big mistake,” “I’m so sad. I feel like a failure here looking at my daughter crying because I’m afraid that I’m not going to be able to find a job because of my own stupidity.”

Walls told CBS that she was immediately flooded with insults, mostly other women calling her a “dumb bitch” or accusing her of having “bubonic plague,” for some reason because of her post.

As at the time of our reporting, Katlyn Walls is still unemployed. All because of her Facebook post.

A female student pleaded guilty in court yesterday after she and another student were caught on camera having sex in a busy public street

A security guard from the University’s dorms claims to have seen both of the accused having sex and performing MouthAction in the open, unmindful of pedestrians strolling by. The guard said he yelled at them to stop but was ignored.

The boy, who is studying Global Supply Chain Management had reportedly been celebrating his birthday at a bar close to university when he met the girl for the first time. After downing shots into the early hours of the morning, the pair began walking home but only got halfway before they were filmed having sex in public.

Captured on a mobile phone and uploaded anonymously online, the video shows the pair apparently at it for 45 minutes. They were shocked when they saw videos of themselves online having sex.

Friends, this is madness, lawlessness and public indecency!

Same sex marriage has gone into the Church. Hhmm..

The tide has turned for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender couples seeking to be married in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A).

Following years of debate and introspection, America’s largest Presbyterian denomination with over 1.8 million members and 10, 000 churches has announced a change to its constitution that allows for a more inclusive definition of marriage. This officially allows their members - men to marry men, and women to marry women inside church.

The church had been waiting for a majority of its regional bodies, to approve the measure one by one. On Tuesday, this majority was reached, with 86 Presbyteries handing in decisions to support same-sex marriage within the church.

“Today we are rejoicing!" said the Rev. Robin White, co-moderator of the LGBT advocacy group More Light Presbyterians. "So many families headed by LGBTQ couples have been waiting for decades to enter this space created for their families within their church communities.”

What does Naija Mean?

Whether things are going well or whether it seems the world is about to come to an end, "Naija!" -also written 9ja - expresses it all.

Nigerians are confident people - proud of our culture and identity, industrious, hard-working, ingenious and great survivors.
Let's face it, we need to be resilient - Nigeria can be extremely frustrating, annoying and inefficient.

But an optimistic outlook on life makes it a place where anything and everything is possible.
No wonder a survey once found that Nigerians are the happiest people in the world - we have a great capacity for laughing at ourselves.
It is about the food, the flamboyant dressing, the mannerisms, the boisterous - some say loud - interaction among complete strangers who on meeting immediately feel bonded by their "Naija-ness".

Like your family, you love them and you hate them at the same time.
You love them so much you would die for them, and yet you get so exasperated at the way they drive you up the wall.

And for the young, the word has entered their slang - spreading rapidly through social networking sites and through music.

Sad!

A 7 year old boy died after attending slapping therapy organized by visiting Chinese therapist in Australia.

According to the therapist, slapping therapy involves repeatedly slapping one point of the body to build heat, causing blood vessels to expand, and 'chi' to flow strongly. Yang rises, yin melts and long-held toxins and blocks are release. He said that this method cures diabetes, hypertension, and many other sicknesses.

Pity! The boy’s parents paid a whopping amount $1,800 to attend the workshop, just for their son to be slapped to death

Shortly after the boy’s death, the therapist ran back to China after brief interrogation by police. The boy’s parents who called police are still crying both for their son and their money

An African elephant called Baby escaped from a Circus and shortly afterwards, attacked and killed a man who went for his regular early morning walk in the woods near Buchen Germany. So unfortunate!

Quick facts:
The African Elephant is the 5th deadliest animal in the world. It is responsible for about 500 human deaths per year.

A deadly flood that hit Georgia today has let loose several animals and killing many – both men and animals.

Georgia has warned residents in the capital not to leave their homes after lions, tigers bears, and many other animals escaped the zoo and running helter-skelter on the streets.
