The fate of Kanu does not matter to me either way. I am just starting what he will be reduced to doing because lengthy incarceration can break most men and make them beg for freedom.
So the reason why your agbadomaster and Britain is holding him illegally is because, they want to make him accept "one Nigeria" against his will abi?

Nnamdi Kanu has noticeably become more subdued since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu assumed office, a stark contrast to his defiant attitude during the Buhari era. Back then, he often hurled insults and made provocative remarks against the late President Muhammadu Buhari during court proceedings to the extent of calling him a MAD MAN.
However, under Tinubu’s administration, his tone and demeanor have changed significantly, reflecting a humbled and more cautious approach.

PoliticsRe: Bandits Already In Osun State? by Mbanda(m): 1:50pm On Oct 07, 2025
VEHINTOLAR:
There was a brazen, well-coordinated attack last night on the Osun State Commander of Amotekun, Retired Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Isaac Omoyele. The ruthless ambush—clearly aimed at assassinating him—took place at about 10:05 p.m. along the Osogbo–Ikirun Road, within the state capital. According to reports, Mr. Omoyele was on his way home—just minutes after leaving his office on the same road—when he was violently attacked. By the grace of God, he escaped with his life and is now in the hospital receiving treatment, according to a reliable source.

Let it be known: Osun State shares a border with Kwara State, a state that has been under siege by armed bandits for some time now. The people of Oke-Ode, Babanla, and several other Igbonna communities in Kwara have suffered relentless attacks. Many have been killed. Families shattered. Lives destroyed. These places are not far from Osun State—they are next-door neighbors.

Yorubaland is being surrounded. And yet our people seem to be asleep. Yoruba people, wake up! The enemy is no longer at the gates—they are inside the gates. These marauders have one mission: to drive us from our ancestral lands and claim them as theirs. But let history remind us—our forefathers stood their ground and drove them back. Now it is our turn.

This is not the time for politics. It is not the time to divide along religious lines. We are Yoruba first, before anything else. Kwara is being overrun—and now, with the attempted assassination of Amotekun’s commander in Osun, the signs are clear: the threat is here. I urge the Osun State Government: rise now, act fast, and defend the land before the unthinkable happens. A stitch in time saves nine. Delay is dangerous. Complacency will be fatal.

As a matter of urgency, a security meeting of all South West governors should be convened in Ibadan, Oyo State, to map out strategies aimed at stopping these marauders in Yorubaland. Chief Gani Adams, you are the Aare Ona Kakanfo, the Warlord Generalissimo of Yorubaland—it's time to rise up, fight, and defend every inch of Yorubaland. No excuse will be tolerated. The Aare Ona Kakanfo has no business with talks on the podium—you are to fight and defend Yorubaland. The target is our land—from Kwara State down to Lagos State. We must never allow that to happen, just as our forefathers never allowed it.

Omo Yoruba e dide!

PoliticsRe: Breaking: Anglican Church In Nigeria Pulls Out Of Church Of England. by Mbanda(m): 1:39pm On Oct 07, 2025
AhmedPeacemaker:
The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) has declared its spiritual independence from the Church of England following the appointment of Bishop Sarah Mullally as the new Archbishop of Canterbury.

According to the statement, the appointment of Bishop Mullally who becomes the first woman to occupy the position marks “a troubling moral decline” within the Church of England’s leadership, given her known support for same-sex marriage.

“This election is a double jeopardy,” the statement read. “First, it disregards the conviction of the majority of Anglicans who cannot accept female headship in the episcopate; and second, it is even more disturbing that Bishop Sarah Mullally is a strong supporter of same-sex marriage.”

The Church recalled Mullally’s 2023 remarks after the Church of England voted to approve blessings for same-sex couples, in which she described the decision as “a moment of hope.” The Nigerian Anglican leadership said such views have further deepened divisions that have plagued the Communion for over two decades.

“It remains to be seen how the same person hopes to mend the already torn fabric of the Anglican Communion by advancing a policy that has caused enormous crisis across the Church,” the statement added.

Declaring that the global Anglican family could no longer accept the spiritual authority of the Church of England or the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Church of Nigeria reaffirmed its allegiance to the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) and its principles.

“As a member of the GAFCON family, the Church of Nigeria affirms its commitment to uphold the authority of the Scriptures, the historic creeds, evangelism, and holy Christian living, irrespective of ongoing revisionist agendas,” the statement said.

The Church also called on conservative Anglicans in England and around the world to remain steadfast in defending biblical truth and rejecting teachings that, in its words, “compromise the Christian faith.”

“We encourage all faithful brothers and sisters in the Church of England who have consistently rejected the aberration called same-sex marriage and other ungodly teachings to continue contending for the faith once delivered to the saints,” the statement concluded.
Good development.
The introduction of same sex marriage or relationship is alien to our culture and this is exactly what the churches in Europe and America wants to impose on us because the headquarters of our various churches is not in our land.

PoliticsRe: Why Is Giringori Afraid Of Contesting Primaries? by Mbanda(m): 9:34am On Oct 03, 2025
DomPerignon:
Well, he has never gone through one . Ojukwu singlehandedly picked him as APGA's gubernatorial candidate and when he (Giringori) became Governor he didn't see any need to carry the party members along so much that he was impeached twice.

Giringori abandoned the PDP he cross carpeted to after dumping APGA because the PDP refused to zone the party to the SE or any region for that matter. Giringori then ditched the party over this and ran to the LP were they gave him their ticket without contesting for it in the primaries.

Now that Giringori has burnt down all the bridges in LP that gave him a free ticket, he decided to do a coup in LP by forming an illegal caretaker committee that was composed mainly of his fellow ibos to seize the party structure from Abure. Abure fought back and has thwarted the Umuahi cabal led by Giringori and the Dwarf to take over the party. Note that, Abuse fell out with Giringori and his obidient mob over campaign funds. Giringori campaign funds were spent without consulting the National party structure or any state machinery for that matter that LP went into the elections without having any party agent in over 70,000 polling units , mostly in the north. This led to a major scandal of how campaign funds were brazenly embezzled by the Giringori campaign team. For exposing the monumental embezzlement of campaign funds and refusal to carry party members along who do not fit into the ethnic straightjacket that makes up a typical obidient, the mob decided to go after Abure seeking to have him removed . An illegal NWC was convened by Giringori and the Umuahi cabal to remove Abure and have a more pliable National chairman and exco board. Abure fought back and suspended all the usurpers and vowed that, going toward , there will not be any automatic ticket in the party including that for the reelection of the party's lone governor.

With this in mind, Giringori, who has a phobia for contesting primary elections, decided shopping for a new platform. He's first port of call was the SDP, but the SDP remains staunchly NADECO in both membership and ideology. Given the sordid history of Giringori working as a minion to the notorious Arthur Nzeribe, Giringori knew he had no chance in hell freezing over in getting anywhere near their ticket. The SDP also appears to be the most principled party in Nigeria today. They even chased out the mideget of Kaduna and warned him on the threat of a civil suit to stop parading himself in anyway or form as a party member, spokesman or leader of their party. The SDP even produced evidence in the form of party registrar in Kaduna to back up the fact that El Midgeto was never and will never be a member of their party.

So no room for Giringori , so the next and only alternative was to try his luck in ADC. Almost immediately , the Obidient mob began asserting themselves and making demands on the coalition party that their messiah must emerge as the party candidate. When that failed , the mob began begging with their AGOBi movement . They even began harassing Atiku to step down for their Agulu messiah. Giringori, in his desperation pitched his OTP proposal of only doing one term which was simply laughed down at by everybody .
It is then fair to conclude that Giringori, given his pathological phobia for contesting party primaries will not be joining the ADC.

One would have expected the fanatical hero cult movement aka Obidients to begin the process of registering a new party with INEC but the headless emotional ridden mob can't be expected to operate nor plan rationally . I would have expected them to form the first communist party in Nigeria and have their giringori enshrined in their party constitution as the African version of Chairman Mao so that the Obidient Communist Party will not have to hold primaries ever so that their messiah can contest primaries without triggering his phobia.

If late Buhari, whom the APC coalition was formed around over his then overwhelming hero cult status across northern Nigeria contested the APC presidential ticket, who is Giringori that he refuses to go through primaries?

And what kind of leadership can one expect from a candidate who get into Aso Rock on explicit tribal zoning ? Just as Giringori nearly destroyed the LP with his ethno religious divisiveness, so also will such a character emerge as the most divisive and bigoted Presidency.
Why is tilumbu afraid of conducting a free and fair election?
Am asking because a lot of people are curious over this issue.

SolaOmoniyi:
Former presidential aide Reno Omokri argues that Nigerians often overlook the country’s progress in education, economy, energy, and inflation, insisting that “Nigeria happening” also means positive developments.

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has called on Nigerians to acknowledge the progress being made across several sectors of the country instead of attributing national identity only to negative outcomes.

Omokri, in a statement on Monday, said the phrase “Nigeria has happened to me” is often used to describe setbacks, while the many positive developments in the country are overlooked.

According to him, Nigeria is experiencing measurable improvements in education, the economy, electricity supply, inflation, and fuel exports.

Omokri disclosed that more than 600,000 Nigerians have benefited from student loans provided by the federal government to enable them pursue higher education. He described the initiative as one of the most impactful social policies under the current administration.

He noted that Nigeria’s inflation rate dropped to 20.12% in August 2025, from 21.88% in July, reflecting a gradual decline in food prices across the country. He contrasted this progress with Argentina’s worsening economic situation, adding that several other countries are struggling to manage inflation.

Omokri also pointed to progress in the energy sector, stating that Nigeria recently achieved its highest-ever electricity generation output, with a peak of 5,801.84 megawatts and a maximum daily output of 128,370.75 megawatt-hours (MWh).

He explained that Nigeria has moved from being Africa’s largest petrol importer in 2023 to becoming the leading exporter of refined petroleum products in West Africa, a shift that has contributed to more stable fuel prices locally.

Omokri said the economy has expanded by about
