PoliticsRe: How Do We Address The Scandal Of Drug Trafficking By Eastern Youths? by Mbanda(m): 12:15pm On May 18, 2025
Kushites:
This thing has become too much.

Every morning I come on Nairaland front page, I see the words, “Nigerian Arrested In India For Drug Trafficking”.

Or Sri Lanka or Malaysia or South Africa etc etc.

And instinctively I look for the name of the culprit, just hoping and praying it isn’t a person from the East.

Only to have my hopes dashed repeatedly.

It’s gotten to a point where I don’t even bother looking for the name again.

Because I know…

Now, the question I want to ask you guys is “How do we curb this menace?”

How do we curtail the sheer reckless greed and desperation for quick money afflicting these people?

Our country’s reputation is at stake.

We have to take this issue seriously.

The Eastern governors, Ohaneze, Peter Obi and co…… Why are they silent?

They need to wake up and call their youths to order, by any means necessary.
Why are you not saying anything about Ogun skull mining and ritual killings?

Your brother Bolaji said what he knows and witnessed not me.

But in your own case am judging you from what you said, and if you can't provide us with proof leave my mentions so I can engage people with sane minds.

Your covetousness in trying to forcefully include and grab other people’s land and stop them from their independence when they are not interested in yours has been the reason for the downfall of Aburi accord. There is no Biafra and there will never be a Biafra.

The true Africans are trying to work closer together while the Jews need to be with other Jews and be spat at by their masters.

When we came we came with nothing and when we leave we leave with nothing why can’t people live and let live.
Wetin this one dey talk self?
So you never hear when Kanu and his group dey tell una say they want a UN supervised referendum?

So, UN supervised referendum that Kanu and his group has been championing, is now translated to "forceful inclusion and grabbing other people's land" by feeble minds like you?

If that is the case, where do you know Igbo land extends to? Can you point their God's giving boundaries!

Lies.

You were told by Ojukwu and later Kanu that you must lead Nigeria.

How's that working for you?

grin
Is it Kanu of all people that wants a total dismemberment of this country, that you are giving this allegation?

Show us the video where Kanu and Ojukwu said a thing like that.

Why are you omitting the part he asked you to also post the videos of federal government establishment in your state and appointments made so far, so we can compare and contrast grin grin

grin cheesy

I watched one video on YouTube some days ago. It was about appointments into one of the FG institution department

811 plus was appointed from Anambra state alone while Bayelsa state had zero. Enugu or Abia had 65+. The appointments was supposed to be federal appointments which should include reasonable number from all states but unfortunately, the appointments had nothing less than 70+ Igbo's because the commission recruiting was held by an Igbo lady. She even said she was fair with the appointments

Before accusing others of something, people should endeavor to be looking into the mirrow, see who appears there before pointing fingers
Stop lying just to cover up the post by your yoruba brother. What he said is nothing but the truth.

Igbos were not allowed to vote in lagos. Will you deny this fact?

The Nigerian state under the supervision of Britain, always fight Igbos and lockup their freedom fighters without addressing the cause of their agitation. Will you also deny this fact?

Most Nigerians (including you and your likes in this forum) want Igbos, to always tolerate every nonsense that is thrown at them and, still bow but we the great Igbos said "no" it will never happen. Will you still deny this one?

Stop the coverup!

Nobody said igno should not rule. Dumb. Obi an igbo man contested and came third behind the two major tribes. If he has the charisma. He will will win. He was about 1m votes behind first runner up and about 2m behind winnder. If Obi and his ibO people have sense, by now he will be vice president.
Don't pretend as if you don't know that, the election was rigged in favour of tinibu. Everybody knows this fact including you and your likes.

Obi has the charisma that was why people came out in mass to vote during the 2023 presidential election. It was recorded the the number of voters during the 2023 election was more than the ones in previous elections. This is a fact which you know.
How did tinubu (who is not loved by the masses) make it to the first position if not rigging?

And why do you want Igbo to be vice president, are you saying that they are not fit to be president?
PoliticsRe: Has Peter Obi Reacted To The IMF Debt Clearance? by Mbanda(m):

Stop shifting from the narration jare.

The thread was about Peter Obi yet to react to IMF debt clearance, then you shifted the narration to how much borrowed, make you tell us how much debt have been serviced, you are talking about tax

Don't be petty and be consistent with your arguments
Why do you expect Obi to be happy when that is nothing to compare to what Nigerians actually need.

Let tinubu build manufacturing factories in all corners of the country by so doing, joblessness will reduce drastically and the exchange rate will follow suit.

That is the magic Obi intends to perform. Ibrahim traore of Burkina Faso is now into partnership with Russia to teach their people how to manufacture things including weapons. Make I just give you small Igbo sense make you give your Baba go slow grin grin grin

Bro if the news around was Nigeria taking another loan, it won't take him 2 days before giving press conference about it. Here is one good news, make him react, he kept mute.
As far as we are concerned, that is no good news because, dollar is still high, food prices and import duties is still high job creation is still 0% so, what are we celebrating?
PoliticsRe: Why Should We Celebrate IMF Debt Clearance? by Mbanda(m): 10:25am On May 15, 2025
helinues:
Why should we be sad about the IMF debt clearance?

If some people can be complaining about the debt before it was cleared, now that the repayment is a good news, we should be able to celebrate that feat except if one is a sadist
This is because that feat is not what the country needs to make her citizens to get out of hunger and joblessness that is hunting them currently.

Let us remember that Nigeria is not a production country rather, Nigeria is more of a consumption country. How can you be consuming without making money to be able to buy the things you consume?

And this is the area where Obi will do just fine than tilumbu.

Imagine them justifying why they can never be happy about Nigeria's progress because they are in the opposition. What such of reasoning is that?
What will that your progress do in the lives of average Nigerians?

Will that your so called progress bring the reduction of food prices and dollar exchange rate?

Nonsense!

So you know that Nigeria is their country and you lots don't want Igbo man to rule Nigeria?

So you know that Nigeria is their country, but you want SE to be occupied militarily?

So you know that Nigeria is their country but you want them unalived whenever terrorists killed a soldier in SE but you don't want the same to be done in the north.

You know Nigeria is their country but, you don't like celebrating good news about them. You always look for bad news like drug pushing and other terrible news to gossip.
