PoliticsRe: Faces Of Those Who Claim They Want To Rescue Nigeria! by Mbanda(m): 9:15am On Jan 29
zoedew:
These are the faces of some of those who claim they want to rescue Nigeria! They will do well to state in very specific terms their individual records in the private and public sectors not leaving out their family and marital lives.
Faces of those who want to rescue Nigeria:

Bolaji Abdullhai, former Minister of Sports

David Mark, former Minister of Communications, former senate president, he was in the senate for 20 years

Atiku Abubakar, former vice president

Rotimi Amaechi, Former Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly, former Governor of Rivers State, former Minister of transportation. He was in power for consecutive 24 years

Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State, he was there for 8 years

Emeka Ihedioha, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, he was in the Green Chamber for 12 years, he also served as the Governor of Imo State for almost a year.

What exactly are they planning to do? Which new idea are they bringing? What exactly is fresh about them? What did they do differently when they occupied those offices? They are all former this and that, that's what they will remain till God knows.
I take particular note of the omission of Rauf Aregbesola a divisive figure who almost tore Osun State apart destroying personal, neighborhood and family relationships during his tenure as Osun State Governor. By the way, I am not a partisan politician.
What good has the face below done for the country, that made him and his clownish supporters, think he is the best man for the job?

I've noticed that the hungry anywhere belle face fake man called Reno Omokiri always tries to avoid any encounter with Omoleye Sowore. Why? What's Reno Omokri hiding? Even if Sowore insults him, he'll always look for a calm way to respond. He dare not insult Sowore. That makes him a coward. But because Peter Obi refused to pay him the usual crumbs that make him ass.lick people like Drug.nibu, he's always been on his case. Reno is just a shameless coward.

There's nothing Nigerians didn't do to avert the dangerous disaster like this TInubu's government. He was rejected during campaigns, he was rejected at the polls, he was rejected in Lagos, Kano, Borno, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, everywhere, and even the bishops, imams and the prophets rejected him but INEC reversed the people's will and here we are. Crying, burying innocent people.
No more he built Lagos, this and that. We can now see clearly what tinibu and his APC party represents and what they represent is backwardness.

To have won that election, he should first have beaten Atiku to second place, the only people who day dream and do point of correction are lamba king supporters, even lamba king himself knows he did not win the election.

eyeneck which I presume you mean INEC did a very very good job, infact one of the best elections ever to hold in Nigeria. The jusicially only reinforced what was already known to be true.
I said that Obi won that election and you are talking about beating Atiku. All you think you know about 2023 election is based on the data mago mago eyeneck gave you.

Obi win tinibu and you are taking about Atiku.
PoliticsRe: Anyone That Wants To Save Nigeria, Must Start From INEC by Mbanda(m): 12:09pm On Jan 28
9jatriot:
You guys still cannot recover from the loss of your candidate. One of the best election ever held in this country was that of 2027.

That is why all the candidates who went to the tribunal to contest the results only ended up wanting to disqualify the winner rather being able to prove that they were rigged out, because they were not.

From the tone of the OP, you can tell that even the things he is complaining of, he is also part of it in whatever scale or position that he is presently.
Point of correction, Obi did not lose that election every Nigerian knows this fact including you. It was eyeneck and the judiciary that installed tinibu there and ever since then, Nigerians are suffering to the extent that, many Nigerians are now jealous of the dead.

The incident happened as Tinubu joined the guard of honour.

He was quickly helped to his feet by the security operatives who surrounded him.

There was a little distraction after the president stumbled, before the event continued without disruption.

Tinubu is in Turkey, to consolidate the relationship with Nigeria and also explore new areas of cooperation.

PoliticsRe: Ndiowu Community Thanks Governor Soludo For Restoring Peace In The Town. by Mbanda(m): 5:37pm On Jan 27
Otutubuike:
Okekeifi remains our monarch, Ndiowu community insists

The People of Ndiowu community in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State on Tuesday insisted that Chibuzor Okekeifi remained their authentic elected traditional ruler.

They made the declaration on Tuesday during a peaceful protest in Awka, the state capital to counter Monday's protest organized by another group who condemned the election that produced Okekeifi.

Speaking on behalf of the protesters, Chairman, Elders Council of Ndiowu Town and Leader, Ndiowu Progressives, Bar Christian Nnabuihe described the protesters as terribly misinformed, misadvised and misguided.

He also described the constitution they paraded as fake, insisting that the 1990 constitution approved by government and Aguata High court remained the authentic document guiding the community.

According to him, the constitution not only declared that certain persons should no longer take part in election due to their dirty conduct, but is clear about women participation in such election.

He said, "We're here to appreciate the governor for restoring peace in our town and creating conducive atmosphere for the conduct of free, fair credible election that produced our monarch.

"Ndiowu had 1990 constitution approved by government and Aguata High court, which declared that certain persons should no longer take part in election due to their dirty conduct."

On alleged exclusion of women in the election, Nnabuihe described as sacrilege involvement of women in traditional ruler's election.

"I stand to be corrected, there's no community in Anambra state where women are permitted to take part in selection of traditional ruler and that's is clearly stated in our constitution.

"A monarch is the custodian of people's culture. It's an abomination to involve women in such exercise. It has never happened anywhere.

"Those people who were here yesterday were terribly misinformed, misadvised and misguided. And the constitution they paraded was fake.

"A lot of them are regretting their journey yesterday. Their presence was nullity as far as majority of Ndiowu is concerned," he stressed.

Also speaking, Woman President General of the town, Oby Okoli said, "As women, we desire peace and progress for us, our children and children's children in Ndiowu."

Responding, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Dr Nwabufor Nwankwo thanked the protesters for their peaceful conduct, assuring of speedy response to their request.
Staged and false. This nonsense is just to divert the attention of the people over the market closure by soludo.

Let me tell you, I even pray they add Wednesday and Friday as sit at home days. If they like them do sit at home for the whole year. It doesn't affect me or any other Nigerian outside the south east.
I know you are lying because what you are saying is different from what you really want from your innermost heart. Judging from what you said initially, one can easily dictate that you really want Igbos to stop the sit at home protest.
PoliticsRe: "Open Your Markets And Shops Tomorrow"- IPOB To Main Market Traders by Mbanda(m): 3:38pm On Jan 27
Razzness:
Come on, how is sit at home a terrible nightmare for the Nigerian state.

Soludo is just being practical, sit at home achieves nothing. After how many years, it has not resulted in any meaningful development in the quest for Biafra, it didn't stop the government from sentencing MNK to life in prison, the government has never even invited IPOB for a conversation about their demands. Because sit at home is of no consequence to the government. A perfect example is the way the government reacted swiftly with the Naija Delta militants because their actions were costing the government, but you see IPOB their actions do not cost the government anything at all
Soludo is being practical over something the government doesn't give a damn?

The people that are participating in the sit at home exercise knows that, consistency is the key thats why they are still doing what they are doing. You and your likes should stop giving a damn by, pretending as if you lots don't even know that, there is something called "sit at home" in SE.

Nobody is having headache. In fact the federal government doesn't give a damn at all, that is why for all these years neither Buhari nor Tinubu cared enough to even bat an eye lid towards the sit at home, same as other Nigerians. Nobody cares if the south east were to do sit at home every day of the week till Jesus comes. It is the state governments that realize this and are now taking actions to stop it.
Nobody is having headache, but you and your likes, are here forming advisers. And if truly the federal government don't give a damn why is soludo the federal government puppet convulsing over the sit at home protest?
The truth remains that, the sit at home exercise has become a Terrible nightmare to the Nigerian state.

How will they bypass the security that surrounds the market? If IPOB loves Kanu so much, why didn't they go and barricade DSS headquarters where he was held? If they were serious and not just arrant noise makers, why are they still accepting naira in the Onitsha market? Let them ban the use of the naira in that market first and then we will reason their level of seriousness.

IPOB is threading on dangerous grounds here. The Chief law enforcement officer of the state has given a directive. Openly calling for his order to be defied is calling for an insurrection.

Sit at home is one of the most futile and irrational things I've ever seen. It just doesn't make sense to me, because at the end of the day it is your own people that are loosing, not Yoruba or hausa. Its just like those people in some countries that go on hunger strike, it makes me wonder "is it not your self, you are doing" instead of you to eat food and have strength to protest, you choose to starve yourself. That is exactly what IPOB are doing.
Since you believe that, the hausas and yorubas are not affected in anyway. Why are you having severe headache over the sit at home protest happening in SE?

Establishing the U.S.–Nigeria Working Group to increase coordination and cooperation between our two counties is an encouraging and necessary step to jointly combatting the security challenges facing Nigeria, promoting our nations’ shared values of religious freedom, and ending the brutal persecution of our brothers and sisters in Christ by radical Islamic terrorists.

Nigeria has a once in a lifetime chance to strengthen its relationship with the US as we work cooperatively to counter violent terrorism throughout the northern states and middle belt, end the persecution of Christians, and address the broader economic and security challenges the nation faces. Nigeria now also has a real opportunity to increase its capacity to be a stabilizing force in the region.

This agreement shows the Nigerians are continuing to take the situation seriously and are working to address the security conditions in good faith. Our nations have pledged to work together to ensure all Nigerians can live and practice their faith without fear of persecution and death. While there is much still to be done, we continue to see positive developments. I'm grateful to the government of Nigeria for coming to the table and partnering with the US to address these challenges.

PoliticsRe: God Will Not Allow Obi Become Nigeria’s President Now And Ever – Fani Kayode by Mbanda(m): 5:01pm On Jan 23
Lalasdiva:
"God will not allow Obi become Nigeria’s president now and ever" – Fani Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation and prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode, has launched a blistering verbal attack on Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, declaring that Obi will never become Nigeria’s president.

In a strongly worded statement shared via his official platforms, Fani-Kayode dismissed Obi’s political relevance, questioned his competence, and accused him of misleading supporters through social media propaganda.

According to Fani-Kayode, Peter Obi is not worthy of engagement by serious political actors, insisting that no credible presidential candidate would ever debate or directly respond to him.

“You don’t respond to comments of presidential spokespersons because you are a mannerless dunce with low self-esteem and you have no answers,” he wrote.

He went further to argue that placing Peter Obi in the same political bracket as leading figures such as Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Asiwaju), Atiku Abubakar (Waziri), or Rabiu Kwankwaso would be deeply insulting.

“Asiwaju to Waziri to Kwankwaso I can see, but to add an Obi to that list in a public debate or discussion would be a grave insult,” Fani-Kayode stated.

The former minister also mocked Obi’s public persona, claiming he is better known for marketing consumer goods than offering meaningful policy ideas.

“Who the hell is he and what does he know about anything other than misleading his gullible followers on social media and selling tomato puree, Bournvita and toothpaste?” he asked.

Fani-Kayode further asserted that Obi would struggle in any serious political debate, even against campaign spokespersons of rival parties.

“He would not last five minutes in a debate with ANY of our presidential spokespersons, and even Kwankwaso’s and Atiku’s would give him a hard time.”

Describing Obi as arrogant and deceitful, he labeled the former Anambra State governor a “charlatan” and a “modern-day wannabe.

PoliticsRe: Giringori Has Started Packing His Load To Return To LP by Mbanda(m): 8:59pm On Jan 22
DomPerignon:
Now realizing he has no chance in hell freezing over securing an automatic free ticket in the ADC or getting Atiku to pick him as a running mate and that is if Atiku even wins the ticket from Amaechi, Giringori has now decided to return to LP following the latest Supreme Court judgement that sacked Abure.

Giringori now sees another free ticket in LP with Tanko as its new interim Chairman but this is a long pipe dream as Tanko must conduct fresh elections for excos and might not be around when the LP is set to select their candidate.

One thing is sure, is that the several other factions in the LP will not sit idly and watch the Usman faction handpick a candidate for the LP against the 2027 elections and you can bet they will be heading to court to ensure nation-wide primaries are held to determine who will hoist the flag for the LP.

This is where it gets dicey because outside the SE caucus , no other delegate is in good terms with Obi giving how he alienated virtually all other candidates outside those from his SE and refused to share his campaign ground with them.
