There is no cattle seller that buys cow from yola 150000 that doesn't sell for 230,000-250000 by the time he gets to their cattle union in lagos.

This development is a beautiful and welcomed development but this plan needs a lot than just a speech from a well documented file.

This is beef we are talking about, will it be refrigerated till it gets to the west? That means lots of cooling vans will be landing the state soon, will there be preservative on these beef? God forbid the vehicle breaks down, that would be a lost stock already and mind you, not all preservatives are healthy to human health especially when beef is in the picture.


I urge the government to bring in more cattles from other foreign country, initiate cross breeding for more beef and milk. If you ask me.
