PoliticsPresidency Zoning: Who Is Fooling Who? by Mbuzo(op): 10:50am On Jul 24, 2010
So much arguments are being made by opposing groups on the question of the Presidency being purportedly zoned.
-
Some have claimed that the South is trying to shortchange the North but others remind them that the late YAR'ADUA would have continued but for his death.

some insist that Mr President JONATHAN has the constitutional right to contest, which
no one can deny him. However, others claim that he is a member of the PDP so is bound to its rules. Yet others question that claim insisting that the arrangement was purely between a few individuals that wielded great influence in the Party in the past ,  bla bla bla!!!

MY QUESTION IS: IF JONATHAN DECIDES TO YIELD THE PRESIDENCY TO A NORTHERNER, WOULD SUCH A PERSON REFUSE TO CONTEST THE 2015 ELECTIONS GIVEN THAT THE NORTH HAD EXHAUSTED ITS TURN BY THEN?. ,  the answer is obvious. THIS INSINCERITY SHOULD STOP FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!

Then come to think of it. The constitutional amendment has been ongoing for quite some time, yet none of these 'patriotic gladiators' had deemed it worthy to insert zoning/rotational presidency in the constitution!!! who is really fooling who?
SportsRe: 'world Cup In Sa A Mistake' So Says Bayern Munich Boss by Mbuzo: 1:02pm On Jan 30, 2010
Please I call on all Nigerians and Africans to rise up with one voice that even a deaf ULI will hear and state, what a low life, ignorant, stupid, racist, uncivilized and shameless father, brother, son, husband and Club President that he is!!!! His children should never bless the day they found out he was their father. NONSENSE!!!!
SportsSuper Eagles: Should Amodu Still Be Replaced And By Whom by Mbuzo(op): 3:37pm On Jan 26, 2010
YES ZAMBIA is out! How pitiful! What a sorry sight. Such determination that is hardly seen in football. cry
We have qualified but the reality is still there. This team as it is, will get mauled by the likes of Spain and Argentina. An urgent surgical operation is demanded.  embarassed
The Super,  sorry Green Eagles, were clipped and nearly barbecued by Zambia and as usual strolled with mother luck.  shocked
When Samson Siasia lost at the last U-20 World Cup, no hell was raised because Nigerians knew it was not for lack of tactical savvy but for a whole lot more of other factors especially short preparation - enough said. The current composition of the team is great with the right ages and quality of players. Only the blend and strength is lacking, which draws attention to the issue of physical trainer and technical manager.
The match exposed the following major tactical flaws, for which, had the Zambians had more quality and precision, would have scrapped our scalp:
       -  The Eagles fagged out in the most critical department of the game - defensive midfield, by the end of the first half (don't blame them. The Zambians were super
human on the day and they ran the Eagles silly for forty five minutes, more than any team had ever done. I dont know what what these East and South Africans
          eat
). Kaita is well known as one of Eagle's best markers, but he was nearly was fainting by the extra period, such that he was literally
begging for respite, with the rate of fouls he was committing. He was the one that put Apam under pressure prior to the red card. He could have been changed
at a time our major need was stamina rather than skill. The Eagles could barely move their feet anymore, and what change did AMODU deem fit to
          make? - ATTACK!
       - It is common practice in soccer that when a team is running out of steam against an opponent, you conserve energy by slowing the game down and resorting to
zonal marking within your own half of the field. By doing so, you you maintain compactness in defensive formation while reducing the space your opponent has to
manouver. What did AMODU do? - He sat back and if my eyes were not deceiving me, he was looking so scared stiff that he could barely utter instructions. At
some point in time, the Zambian Coach was grinning and short of laughing - he knew he had Nigeria on the palm of his hands. We can go on and on, but we
watched that game and we can make our own deductions.

FORGET THE EUPHORIA - DO WE NEED A NEW COACH?
Now the euphoria is all over the place but let us not forget that we are expected to beat the likes of ZAMBIA and MOZAMBIQUE though African soccer has grown. What happens when we meet Ghana or Egypt again? So I declare that AMODU remains a good Coach. You cannot call somebody who has qualified a country for two World Cups, a bad Coach - that will be absurd. However, in terms of our ambition to make a mark at the world stage, he is inadequate especially for lack of capacity to instill confidence in the Nigerian team or sustain managerial concentration during crisis situations of a match. SO I STATE THAT HE MUST BE REPLACED ,  but on one condition - that the replacement must be someone better and with proven credentials.
So I hereby vote for the Zambian Coach, Herve Renard (picture below), for the following reasons:
*** For a level of confidence that seemed to spur his players like Magic.
*** For an apparent tactical that overshadowed the poor technical quality of his players.
*** For his unfazed nature that is the hallmark of great Coaches the world.
*** For his influence over the team that is beyond the politics of the Zambian FA and African football in general.
*** For his fervent desire to Coach a higher team than Zambia and prove a point.
I stand to be corrected but I have made my point - WHAT IS YOUR OWN, dear fellow Nigerian.

PoliticsRe: At Last! Yaradua Talked To Nigerians! by Mbuzo: 7:14am On Jan 07, 2010
From the posts I have been seeing on this forum, I think will volunteer to serve as the enlightener here. No insult meant so no apologies given.

For those of us that are demanding video evidence of Yar'adua's speech, stop to ask yourself why even the US does not seem to know where our President is. That should tell us something about the dangerous international intrigues that is surrounding the man. The US, without question has recently exhibited desperation over Nigeria. Is there something they know and we don't, about our country?

Clearly the US is no more controlling us as they used to and that is pissing off so many loose pants in Washington! Let met state categorically: IF THE US KNEW WHERE YAR'ADUA WAS, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD! TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!

VIDEO EVIDENCE? Wake up my brothers. We may be a developing country, but we are not naive. The question is: for the President's location to have been so effectively shielded from public glare, was it done with the aid of any other super power. I am just agitating our minds here because I trust the inspiration of the Nigerian.

Please shed the call on video evidence!

Come to think of it: Which African country can survive internal destabilisation without a sitting President or an Acting President? Bros, this country is solid! Yet we are classified unstable when lesser countries with little structure are comfortably playing hosts to lustful, ludicrous and untidy western officials, whose main diplomatic objective is wine bars, booty calls and Visa Credit Cards.
PoliticsRe: At Last! Yaradua Talked To Nigerians! by Mbuzo: 12:43am On Jan 07, 2010
People that can stoop so low to ridicule a sick man make me sick. Can some people show a little decency and wait for Yar'adua's return and have their fill of him in their anger. Can we ever see anything good about Nigeria. To most people including some in this forum, Nigeria is only good when our pockets are lined with the right colours in the right amount.

Now the US is about to despoil our pride at their airports for no justifiable cause and how many of us are speaking out? Its sad really and the rain of disrespect that is about to fall is not likely to spare anyone. I wont be surprised to even learn that some are possibly waiting for Yar'adua to show face so that they will blame him for it. What cheap absurdity.

And for those that are yet to see the intrigues that surround Nigeria, the following posts that just came out will serve your interest, and before you think it is an ordinary post know this: America has their rivals and probably they are they ones leaking out such information for the ignorant ones like us to shape up or ship out. NOTE: The picture shows how our mothers, sisters and daughters are going to be viewed henceforth by US officials.

PoliticsRe: Spreading Rumors That Our President Is Dead Is Unpatriotic And Ungodly by Mbuzo: 12:49am On Dec 02, 2009
@ DEPILOT,
It is your kind that this country needs - guys that think outside the box. You remind me of those blokes at www.reliablereporters.com whose reactions to issues are nothing short of objective and patriotic. We are tired of people that talk out of frustration looking for where to vent. Such are the people that usually get into power and allow the affairs of the State to be guided by their third legs. I have said nothing here because, honestly, some people don't deserve to be told something.

What can one say at this point. Every crisis benefits someone and it is increasingly looking more like some people are benefiting from the this seeming political crisis. I heard someone say that Yar'adua did not hand over to Goodluck Jonathan but any way I could have joined issues with that was better done by an article posted on the following URL: http://www.reliablereporters.com

PoliticsRe: Why We Hate Nigeria So Much - By The Diasporians A.ka. Nigerians Abroad! by Mbuzo: 8:22pm On Nov 06, 2009
We may say all we want about our lovely country but one thing is clear and unarguable - we can NEVER repeat NEVER change her with the way many of us talk. Every country deserves the President they get, but for us Nigerians, we do not deserve the current President. Not because he is an angel, far from it but because for all his weaknesses in governance and political courage, he is very respectful. That no one can take away from him no matter what our grievances are. If we are intelligent enough, we should pull our great intellectual resources as Nigerians and explore ways of breaking barriers that cabals have built around him, in the name of political, economic and other structures of governance, without which he can not run government. Let us change and do it the way those guys at  www.reliablereporters.com are doing it. They are so balanced in their thoughts and analysis on these things. I advise everyone to visit their site.

RomanceRe: Why Do Men Want To Marry Virgins? by Mbuzo: 8:54pm On Jan 06, 2008
when I saw this post my mind immediately went to a quote that was recently published in www.nigeriantrend.com. It stated that men actually wanted virgins who are prostitutes. I kinda was struck up by it. I initially felt it was nonsensical but I reflected as a man and it suddenly hit me. You see w all want a virgin because we feel she must be disciplined to have survived that far. Also there is no old pal to rekindle old fires for her. Finally, there is the pride of having a woman whom no body can tell stories of dating. However, there is the problem of experience. We fear that she knows little of sex and lacks the sexual excitement that experience allows. So really! we we actually want virgins who are prostitutes! Funny!
PoliticsRe: Ribadu's Removal Is Long Overdue? by Mbuzo: 10:58pm On Jan 05, 2008
I believe the matter is more complicated than many Nigerians I know. I became more enlightened after I read a piece on the corruption crises facing Yar 'adua especially on the RIBADU case. The piece that is published on www.nigeriantrend.com is very illuminating. I advise us to trade carefully on this matter. Serious political interests are on both sides and we only need to pray that national interests supersede all.
RomanceRe: Can U Maintain A Long Distance Relationship & What Can U Do To Make It Work? by Mbuzo: 2:34pm On Nov 15, 2006
The biggest challenge in LDR is remaining faithful to your patner and maintaining trust for him/her. The biggest act of love is not TRUST. It is forgiveness. So I believe the solution lies with both parties learning the need to earn trust mutually and preparing to forgive mistakes that might happen. In whatever circumstance, genuine love have to exist mutually in order for everything to work. Prayers to this end does work wonders. Note however that there MUST be regular communication or else "out of sight out of mind" could occurr. Talk at least once in two days within Nigeria or once in a week across diapora. mbuzo2001@yahoo.com
RomanceRe: Is It Possible To Love Two Guys by Mbuzo: 2:41pm On Oct 25, 2006
Adetutu,

I suggest you brace up for life of sacrifice. In my experience when you have such dilemna, it always had to do with sex though it is hardly mentioned. The dilemna is often that the more sexually appealing partner is the less rich, trusted and admirable one. However, the other may not provide the passion that is relished so much by the woman. It is a conflict between social security and romantic security. When a woman is really in love, she hardly becomes fond of another person to the point of loving him. When a woman is truly in love any minimal act of closeness to another person is discomforting and is the precursor to flirting even when she doesnt know it or refuse to accept it. BRACE YOURSELF for true love.
RomanceHow Does One Know A Spouse Is Flirting Or Unfaithful? by Mbuzo(op): 2:33pm On Oct 25, 2006
What are the practical signs Nigerian women and men exhibit when the are being unfaithful to their patners/lovers? I believe men should answer better for themselves while women should have better answers for themselves. That is if we have the courage to show our opinion on this subject. Many are too filled with guilty conscience to reply to this type of posts. They prefer to hide away. So who has the guts to open up? huh
CareerRe: HND Certificate: An Embarrassment? by Mbuzo: 1:40pm On Oct 25, 2006
Hi y'all,

Its rather unfortunate. However, there is a hope. Last week the Federal Government finally released the WHITE PAPER removing the dichotomy. In essence, they have removed the bar of Level 14 placed on HNDees. Henceforth, they have equal status with Bachelors in the Public Service. Also, the National Assembly is progressing with the bill for a law to outlaw the dichotomoy. It proposes five years prison sentence for anyone who discriminates between the two in employment processes. I hope this information may be slightly soothing. Good luck
