Since the inauguration of this new government, I have been privy to some extent to what is happening within the leadership of the state. I can't mention the name of the state for safety reasons.

But I can tell u that our leaders are very wicked in this country. This state governor is being praised as one of the best governors in the country yet this moral decay is going on under his watch.

My boss is a family member to the governor. This my boss and some selected individuals are on steady 10m monthly allowance paid by the government. So many others numbering 100s are also on government payroll for no reason. Some are paid millions, 500k. 200k would be the least.

When the federal government shared fuel subsidy removal palliative, the elites in the state were the one that shared the whole thing. My boss personally loaded his own with a long truck. It's over a 50 bags of rice, wheat, corn and beans. He carried some processing machines too which is laying fallow in his store up till this moment. He carried some mattress and wrappers; all are still not in use because he already have more than enough.

Contracts running into billions are given to him at a very exorbitant price yet he's doing a substandard job and nobody is asking him any questions.

He doesn't pay tax or any form of IGR to the government

Recently he started a building project without a government's approval. Nobody tested the strength of the foundation because this man didn't employ any engineer and the building is running into the fourth decking now.

Sometime this year, the government announced a multi million support scheme for unemployed and SMEs, the news hit fp here, we praised the governor for his kind gesture but the truth is that the elites were the ones that submitted the names of their boys and friends and the money was paid to them. No single money was given to any son of a nobody

Like wtf is wrong with our leaders in this country. If u know the level of corruption that is going on in this system, none of them deserves to live outside prisons.

I graduated from uniben since 2019, when I went for my final clearance, It was discovered that my name was wrongly spelt and that was when my educational journey was paused.
I've written countless times to the HOD of my department, I've called every staff member I have his/her number all to no avail. Now the HOD have refused taking my calls for months after several failed promises that she will send my later to tye school senate for correction.
Traveling to Benin cost not less than 50k and each time I go, it's always the same cycle of write a letter and submit with the secretary and after that, it's trashed and nothing changes.
I've explained this to my HOD severally but nothing changes.
All my course mates have served and moved on with their lives but mine has remained paused.
I've missed job opportunities. It now seems my four years there was wasted.
Now I'm planning a legal action because every other options has been exhausted.
Has anyone had similar experience? Is there anyway I can reach the school senate without going through my department?

The worst mistake Tinubu made was removing fuel subsidy when there's no working refinery in the country. Importation of refined oil products alone can drain our FX. But Tinubu being very stup!d and demented decided to remove the subsidy anyways. If we had working refineries in Nigeria, stabilizing the price of petroleum products would be much easier thereby stabilizing our economy.

Now the rising cost of transportation is dangerously dealing with our economy.

Quick one eehh. I rented the house on around October last year. I moved in on November 1.
28 days later, our light was disconnected due to old bills. I tried my best to get the light reconnected to no avail. The tenants never tried to pay up.
When I saw how the thing was going, I had to pay the October bill. I was the first and only person that paid even though I hadn't moved in in October. The light was later disconnected because no other person paid again.
We had a meeting and then agreed to contribute some money and offset the bill. I then paid an extra bill of 3k which includes a reconnection fee which on a normal I wasn't supposed to pay
After the meeting, only three people paid and the blackout continued
We stayed throughout December, January and February without light.
Within that period, I called the landlady severally to intervene, she promised to but never did.
By February I was fed up and decided to leave. I had lost some contracts among other losses because my phone can be off most times.
So, I decided to move out. I left and the landlady rented the house out. I called her to refund my rent and she's saying no refund after payment.
Now, I wanted my brother to stay in the house for his post UTME lesson but the place is not available. I told her I needed the place for something since my rent is still on and she's refused to refund me. But she still refused. I'm planning on sueing her.
But I need to seek the opinion of this big family. What do u guys think?
